Hill rushed the ball 13 times for 66 yards in Saturday's 34-10 win over the Texans. He also had two receptions on two targets for 11 yards.

Hill led the Ravens' backfield while matching his highest carry total of the season and recording his highest yardage total of the campaign. He was particularly effective running out the clock late in the game, as he accounted for 42 yards in the final quarter. Hill also remained involved as a pass catcher and has commanded multiple targets in five of his last six contests. He should split work with Gus Edwards once again in the AFC Championship Game while squaring off with either the Chiefs or Bills, though it's worth noting that newcomer Dalvin Cook saw eight carries Saturday. Also, Edwards appeared to leave the game due to some issue in the fourth quarter.

Edwards rushed the ball 10 times for 40 yards in Saturday's 34-10 win over the Texans. He added one reception on two targets for minus-1 yard.

Edwards was out-touched and gained by Justice Hill in the blowout win. He still maintained his role near the goal line, though he was stuffed on an attempt from the two-yard line early in the second quarter, only to have Lamar Jackson throw for a score one play later. Much like the regular season, Edwards' fantasy value will come down to his ability to find the end zone, particularly as it now appears that Hill has an upper hand for work outside the red zone.

Dillon (thumb/neck) is listed as inactive for Saturday's divisional-round game at San Francisco, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Dillon thus will miss a third consecutive contest due to the neck stinger that he suffered during a Week 17 win in Minnesota. On a positive note, he managed his first on-field work since then when he practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, potentially setting him up to play beyond Saturday if the Packers are able to pull of a victory. With Dillon again out of the lineup, Aaron Jones will continue to dominate Green Bay's backfield, while Emanuel Wilson and Patrick Taylor are the options for any RB reps that linger.

The Buccaneers elevated Laird to the active roster Saturday.

Laird was called up for the Bucs' NFC wild-card win over the Eagles, but he was inactive, as Chase Edmonds (toe) was able to suit up. Edmonds is listed as questionable for Sunday's NFC divisional-round game against the Lions, and if he cannot go, Laird would operate as the third running back behind Rachaad White and Sean Tucker.

Gainwell rushed 84 times for 364 yards and two touchdowns in 16 regular-season games, adding 30 catches for 183 yards.

Gainwell's carries and yards both represented career highs, albeit not by huge margins over his 68 carries for 291 yards as rookie in 2021. He also saw his workload get scaled back significantly after his first two games, as he averaged four carries per game the rest of the way after rushing 14 times in both of his first two contests. It's unlikely he suddenly becomes the lead back for the Eagles next season.

The Ravens signed Gordon to their practice squad Friday.

Gordon was cut by Baltimore earlier this week in order to make room for Dalvin Cook, who is expected to be active behind Gus Edwards and Justice Hill against the Texans. Gordon can't be elevated for Saturday's game.

Edmonds (toe) returned to practice Friday and will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Detroit, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Edmonds didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday despite handling his normal role in Monday's 32-9 win over the Eagles. He typically plays about one-fourth of Tampa Bay's snaps on offense, and he got 5-to-10 touches in each of the past four games (including eight for 20 yards from scrimmage in the wild-card win over Philadelphia). The Bucs' other backfield options behind starter Rachaad White are rookie Sean Tucker and practice-squad member Patrick Laird.

Penny finished the season with 11 carries for 33 yards in three regular-season games, adding one catch for five yards.

Penny entered the season with a fair amount of hype, as he had a potentially large share of the carries for a productive offense available to him if he could finally stay healthy. Injuries were in fact not a problem for Penny this season, but rather than competing for the No. 1 job, he spent the year as the Eagles' fourth running back and was a healthy scratch in all but three games.

Nichols signed a reserve/future contract with the Eagles on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Nichols joined the team's practice squad in October after being let go by the Packers before the season, but he failed to appear in any contests. He'll now look to impress Philadelphia this offseason in order to potentially crack the team's active roster in 2024.

Edmonds (toe) didn't participate at Thursday's walkthrough.

Edmonds now was missed back-to-back walkthroughs due to a toe injury, placing a cloud over his potential to play in Sunday's divisional-round game in Detroit. Ultimately, the Buccaneers may make a ruling on his availability upon posting their final practice report of the week Friday.
