Dalvin Cook: Set to join Baltimore

Cook's agency announced Thursday that the running back will sign with the Ravens ahead of the postseason, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Misses practice with illness

Mixon was added to the Bengals' Week 18 injury report after sitting out Thursday's practice with an illness.

If Mixon is able to return to practice Friday as a limited or full participant, it would assuage some of the concern about his availability for Sunday's game against the Browns. However, with Cincinnati already eliminated from postseason contention heading into the Week 18 matchup, Mixon could be subject to a lighter workload than usual Sunday even if the illness is fully behind him. Rookie fifth-round pick Chase Brown has worked in a change-of-pace capacity behind Mixon over the last few weeks, but the Bengals could be motivated to give the Illinois product more reps in an otherwise meaningless season finale in preparation for him taking on a larger role in 2024.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Still not practicing

Mostert (knee/ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Mostert, who sat out this past Sunday's 56-19 loss to the Ravens, has now logged back-to-back DNPs, which sets the stage for what, if anything, he's able to do at Friday's practice to loom large in terms of his Week 18 availability. If Mostert remains sidelined Sunday night against the Bills, De'Von Achane (toe/ribs) would be in line to lead Miami's backfield, with Jeff Wilson and Chris Brooks also in the mix.

  • Najee Harris RB | LAC

Steelers' Najee Harris: Ready to go for Saturday's game

Harris (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Saturday's game against the Ravens, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Harris has been a regular on Pittsburgh's injury reports since the beginning of December due to a knee issue, but he hasn't missed a game and will continue his streak of appearances Saturday in the team's regular-season finale. After practicing fully Thursday, Harris looks poised to enter the weekend without any restrictions. He's coming off his best rushing performance of the season in the Steelers' Week 17 win over the Seahawks this past Sunday, when he carried 27 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He appears to have fully ceded passing-down work to backup Jaylen Warren, however, as Harris has gone three consecutive games without a target.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Colts' Zack Moss: Questionable for Saturday

Moss (forearm) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Texans after practicing fully Wednesday and Thursday.

Moss has missed two straight games, but after closing Week 18 prep with a pair of full practices, the running back appears to be trending toward being available Saturday. If he's confirmed as active ahead of Saturday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, Moss should reclaim his role as Jonathan Taylor's top backup.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Handles limited reps Thursday

Achane was a limited practice participant Thursday due to toe and rib injuries, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

The rib issue is a new concern for Achane, though Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald relays that the injury nor the lingering toe concern are expected to prevent the rookie from playing Sunday versus Buffalo. Meanwhile, fellow running back Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) was listed as a non-participant for the second day in a row and could be at risk of missing a second straight game this weekend. The Dolphins' final Week 18 injury report will be released Friday and will reveal whether Achane and/or Mostert carry designations into Sunday, but at this stage, the former looks like the better bet to headline the Miami backfield. While Mostert was sidelined for a 56-19 loss to the Ravens in Week 17, Achane played 32 snaps and finished with 137 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown on 18 touches (14 carries, four catches).

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Still not practicing Thursday

Kamara (ankle) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

A sprained ankle kept Kamara sidelined for the entire second half of this past Sunday's 23-13 win over the Buccaneers, and he's thus far taken no tangible steps forward in his recovery from the injury through the Saints' first two Week 18 practices. He'll have one more chance Friday to get in some on-field reps before the Saints decide whether Kamara carries a designation into Sunday's game against the Falcons. If Kamara is out or available only in a limited capacity this weekend, Jamaal Williams and Taysom Hill could see heightened roles in the Saints' ground attack.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Remains limited Thursday

Jones (knee/finger) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Jones maintained his same level of activity from Wednesday, though the Packers held a traditional practice Thursday compared to a walkthrough session a day earlier. Even if Jones' reps are capped again Friday, he'll most likely be on the field Sunday against the Bears with few restrictions, given that the Packers can secure a playoff spot with a win in Week 18. He's turned in his two best rushing performances of the season in victories over the Panthers and Vikings in Weeks 16 and 17, respectively, gaining 127 yards on 21 carries in the first matchup and 120 yards on 20 carries in the second.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bears' Khalil Herbert: Dealing with back issue

Herbert was limited at Thursday's practice due to a back injury.

Herbert is making a midweek appearance on the Bears' Week 18 injury report after having no limitations whatsoever to kick off the week Wednesday. It's unclear if his availability for Sunday's game at Green Bay is in danger, but how he fares at Friday's session could be telling for his status. Herbert is coming off back-to-back 100-yard, one-touchdown efforts on the ground, so Chicago could be missing a big part of its offense if he's inhibited or even sidelined this weekend. Roschon Johnson and D'Onta Foreman would be next up in the team's backfield.

  • AJ Dillon RB | CAR

Packers' AJ Dillon: Sitting out again Thursday

Dillon (thumb/neck) missed Thursday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Dillon is listed with his lingering right thumb injury and a neck stinger on the Packers' Week 18 practice report. He's been able to play through the first issue over the last two games, but the second one forced him out of this past Sunday's win at Minnesota. With no on-field work to speak of yet this week, Dillon may be trending in the wrong direction to suit up Sunday against the Bears. Still, he'll have more chance to practice Friday before Green Bay potentially makes a ruling on the running back's availability for the team's regular-season finale.
