Tanner Hudson TE | CIN
Giants' Tanner Hudson: Top option at tight end Sunday
Hudson caught three of five targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Seahawks.
With Daniel Bellinger sidelined due to a fractured eye socket, Hudson stepped up as the Giants' top receiving option at tight end, while Chris Myarick caught the only pass thrown his way for 10 yards. With the Giants on bye next week, Bellinger might have enough time to recover and return to action, but if he remains out Hudson could have some deep-league appeal in Week 10 against the Texans.

Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT
Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Tallies 57 receiving yards
Freiermuth recorded four receptions on seven targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 35-13 loss to the Eagles.
Freiermuth finished behind only Diontae Johnson in targets and has at least seven targets in five of his seven games this season. He wasn't particularly efficient in Sunday's loss, though he still managed lengthy receptions of 21 and 18 yards. Volume alone makes Freiermuth valuable given that he plays tight end, though the poor state of the Steelers' offense continues to limit his ability to find the end zone and perform consistently.

Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Two catches Sunday
Jordan caught two of four targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Titans.
No Texan other than Brandin Cooks did much through the air in this one, and while Jordan led the tight end group in targets, O.J. Howard (2-24 on three targets) and Jordan Akins (1-5 on two targets) were nearly as involved. Even rookie fullback Troy Hairston (2-7 on two targets), who came into the game with only one career catch, got in on the action. Jordan remains atop the depth chart, but the three-way split puts a firm ceiling on the fantasy value of all Houston's tight ends, even in favorable matchups.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Leads team in receptions
Schultz recorded six receptions on seven targets for 74 yards in Sunday's 49-29 win over the Bears.
Schultz had among his best performances of the season, potentially a sign that his nagging knee injury is improving. He led the team with six receptions and did a lot of his damage on a drive midway through the third quarter, when he managed 30- and 14-yard catches on consecutive plays to help set up a touchdown run for Tony Pollard. Schultz's performance has suffered early on in the season due to the knee issue, but he now has 11 receptions for 123 yards combined across his last two games.
-
Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Racks up six receptions
Goedert recorded six receptions on six targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 35-13 win over the Steelers.
Goedert was extremely efficient with his targets and managed to finish tied for the team lead with six receptions, his second-highest total of the season. He chipped in long gains of 17 and 16 yards, though he failed to tally a reception of 20 yards or more for only the second time in seven games this season. Goedert remains relatively uninvolved near the end zone, though he's otherwise held a consistent role, as he now has at least five receptions in four contests on the campaign.

Tyler Higbee TE | LAR
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Drops potential long TD
Higbee (neck) finished with two receptions on six targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 31-14 loss to the 49ers.
Higbee had a rough go of things Sunday, starting with an injury scare after a big hit early in the contest. The 29-year-old was able to return to the field Sunday, but he dropped a wide-open pass late in the game that should have went for a long touchdown. After posting three double-digit target games through the first five weeks of the season, the veteran tight end has fallen off with just three receptions for 22 yards over his last two. Higbee could see his usage jump back up if Cooper Kupp (ankle) can't suit up for Sunday's tilt against Tampa Bay, as the Rams have very little receiving depth at any position in 2022.
-
George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Stays hot with another TD
Kittle had three receptions on five targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Rams.
Kittle ran a beautiful route along the back edge of the end zone, and Jimmy Garoppolo connected with his tight end for a score for the second week in a row. The 29-year-old is beginning to heat up after a slow start, averaging 5.5 receptions and 66.8 yards over his last four games. Kittle will look to keep things rolling after the upcoming bye week when the 49ers take on the Chargers on Nov. 13.

Cole Kmet TE | CHI
Bears' Cole Kmet: Scores first touchdown of season
Kmet caught two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 49-29 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
Although Kmet had his lowest yardage output since Week 2, he finally found the end zone. With two or fewer catches in each of his last three games, he remains a a low-floor, low-upside fantasy option.
-
Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Cardinals' Zach Ertz: Finds end zone in loss
Ertz brought in four of five targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 34-26 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
The veteran tight end was a distant third in receiving yards while working in his usual shorter-area role, but he paid dividends for fantasy managers with an eight-yard scoring grab early in the third quarter. Ertz's trip to the end zone was his first in the last four games, and he'll look to follow it up in a Week 9 divisional showdown against the Seahawks.

C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI
Jets' C.J. Uzomah: Another one-catch game
Uzomah caught his only target for 27 yards in Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Patriots.
Uzomah set a new season high in receiving yards, but he remains a distant second behind Tyler Conklin on the Jets' tight end depth chart. Conklin scored both of the team's touchdowns in this game and led New York with 10 targets.
