Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said Waller (ankle) is day-to-day and will remain in Las Vegas during the team's Week 8 bye to receive further treatment, Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Prior reports have classified the injury that kept Waller out of Sunday's 33-22 win over the Eagles as an inner ankle/heel strain, and while the team hasn't confirmed that diagnosis, Bisaccia noted that the tight end isn't believed to have suffered any structural damage. The fact that the Raiders are describing Waller as day-to-day rather than week-to-week seemingly bodes well for his chances of being ready to go following a well-timed Week 8 bye. Foster Moreau (six receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown on six targets) filled in capably as the team's starting tight end Week 7, but the Las Vegas offense would surely benefit from having its top pass catcher in Waller available for a Week 9 matchup with the Giants on Nov. 7.

Helm was signed to the Raiders' roster Monday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.

The timing of the signing will give Helm two weeks to acclimate to his new surroundings, as the Raiders are heading into their Week 8 bye. This addition of a tight end is bound to raise some eyebrows over the status of Darren Waller (ankle), who sat out Vegas' Week 7 win over Philadelphia.

Daniels (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimate, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Daniels missed last week's win over Houston due to this injury and will have a short week to recover with Arizona facing the Packers on Thursday, but this limited designation is a step in the right direction after he failed to practice at all last week. If he's able to return Thursday, Daniels will likely work as the top backup to Zach Ertz.

Coach Ron Rivera said Monday that Thomas (hamstring) is considered week-to-week, Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic reports.

Thomas is eligible to return to game action as early as Sunday against Denver because he's spent the last three weeks on injured reserve. However, it doesn't sound as though the 30-year-old's return is imminent. A better idea of Thomas' status should come into focus based on his status in practice this week, but Ricky Seals-Jones should continue to handle an increased workload Sunday if the 2014 fourth-rounder is unable to suit up.

Lewis was targeted three times and caught three passes for 31 yards in Sunday's 24-10 victory over Washington.

Lewis caught just two total passes over the first four weeks of the season, but he has now recorded multiple receptions in three straight contests. He may be more on the fantasy radar than he was early on, but he still has just nine receptions on the season and continues playing second fiddle behind starting tight end Robert Tonyan.

Thomas didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants.

Thomas played 70 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps, but a horrible performance on that side of the ball restricted the output of most players. Even though he usually carries limited upside, Thomas will nonetheless strive for an improved showing while the offense rebounds as a whole in Week 8 versus the Falcons.

Tremble caught both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants.

Tremble played over half of Carolina's offensive snaps and outperformed starter Ian Thomas, who didn't catch a pass Sunday. However, with minimal yardage overall, it still wasn't a very impactful display from the rookie, who now sports five receptions for 54 yards and has scored twice through his first seven games.

Akins caught both of his targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 31-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Akins finished second among Houston tight ends behind Pharaoh Brown, who had three catches for 11 yards. The Texans' offense has been shut down the last couple weeks, having scored just eight points in losses to Indianapolis and Arizona. The last Houston touchdown was early in the third quarter of Week 5. There's a chance Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) returns Week 8 against the Rams, which could provide a boost to Akins and the other pass-catchers.

Brown caught three of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 31-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Since catching four passes on five targets for 67 yards in a Week 1 win over Jacksonville, Brown has eight catches for 47 yards and zero targets in the red zone over the last six games. During that stretch, the Texans have just seven red-zone appearances, the area where tight ends typically accrue most of their fantasy value. His main competition at tight end, Jordan Akins, caught both of his targets for 13 yards Sunday.

Swaim recorded one reception on one target for eight yards in Sunday's 27-3 win over Kansas City.

Swaim was one of three Tennessee tight ends to record a catch Sunday, and the effort marked his second consecutive game with one reception. Through seven games this season, Swaim has seven receptions for 53 yards.
