Thompson finished the 2020 season with one catch on two targets for seven yards and a touchdown in 15 games played.

Thompson, a rookie out of Temple, scored in Week 10 versus the Buccaneers on the only catch of his career thus far. After playing under Panthers coach Matt Rhule in college, Thompson's ability as a blocker and on special teams recently earned him a one-year extension, which will likely result in him filling similar roles next season.

Manhertz finished the 2020 season with six catches on eight targets for 52 yards in 16 games played.

Manhertz once again filled a blocking role within Carolina's offense, only catching a few passes on the year. Having been with the Panthers all five years of his career, it'll be interesting to see whether the veteran returns to the team in free agency this offseason.

Mabry signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Monday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.

Mabry signed with the Seahawks as a free agent in April of 2020 after going undrafted. The Maryland product couldn't secure a spot on the final roster, but he'll aim to carve out a role with the team in 2021.

Rader was cut by the Steelers on Monday.

Rader suited up for just one game with the Steelers during the 2020 campaign. After bouncing back and forth between the practice squad and active roster in 2020, Rader will look for a new NFL home ahead of the 2021 season.

The Bears signed Horsted to a reserve/future contract on Monday.

Horsted appeared in six games with Chicago during the 2019 season, catching eight of 10 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown. The tight end reverted to the practice squad after his NFL debut, but Horsted will strive for an opportunity to see more game action in 2021.

Hudson signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

An undrafted rookie out of Arizona State, Hudson spent the first month of the year on the Titans' practice squad before being handed a six-game suspension in October for violating the NFL's Performance Enhancing Substances Policy. He didn't suit up in a game after returning from suspension. Hudson will seek a depth role in 2021.

Hesse signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Hesse will spend the offseason program and training camp with the Titans in hopes of securing a depth role in 2021. The Iowa product didn't play an NFL game over his first two seasons in the league.

Smith caught only 18 passes (on 21 targets) for 112 yards in 15 games in 2020.

He was stuck behind Evan Engram, who stayed healthy for the first time in his career. Engram, despite his many disastrous gaffes, is still under contract for 2021, so Smith is likely looking at a backup role again.

The Giants signed Wieting to a reserve/future contract on Monday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Wieting had spent some time with the Dolphins and Browns before heading to the Giants' practice squad. The 23-year-old will likely continue to play a run-blocking role for New York.

Dissly caught 24 passes (29 targets) for 251 yards and two touchdowns over 16 games during the 2020 season.

Dissly led the Seahawks' tight end room in receiving yards despite running routes on just 66.9 percent of offensive snaps, fewer than both Jacob Hollister and Greg Olsen. The 2018 fourth-round pick flashed offensive upside in both of his first two seasons, producing a combined 31-418-6 line over 10 games before suffering a torn patellar tendon and a torn Achilles in consecutive seasons. Coming back from both of those injuries was a feat by itself, but there are still questions about whether he can return to the pass catcher he was beforehand. Dissly will have a chance to answer those questions in the final year of his rookie contract in 2021, but he may have to share reps with Hollister, who will be a free agent in March once again.
