Kmet (shoulder) is active for Sunday's matchup against Green Bay.

The rookie tight end gets the green light for Chicago's Week 17 matchup, as the Bears aim to clinch a second playoff trip in three years with a win over their division rivals. Kmet didn't have any reported issues coming out of last Sunday's win over the Jaguars, but he was labeled questionable for the regular-season finale after submitting limited practices Thursday and Friday. Officially active for his 16th appearance of the year, Kmet enters the regular-season finale with a stat line of 21 receptions, 202 yards and two TDs.

Sternberger (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears.

The 24-year-old cleared the concussion protocol this week after missing the past three games, but he still ended up a healthy scratch for the final game of the regular season. Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis and Dominique Dafney are Green Bay's three active tight ends Sunday.

Pinkney (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Pinkney was promoted to the Falcons' active roster Saturday, but the 23-year-old won't ultimately make his NFL debut Week 17 against Tampa Bay. He'll head into the offseason as a developmental option at tight end as Atlanta interviews candidates for its general manager and head coaching vacancies.

Hudson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Hudson didn't miss any practice time throughout the week, but the 26-year-old will sit out his fifth game of the regular season Sunday. The backup tight end has hauled in three of his seven targets for 41 yards during his second season with the Buccaneers. Last Saturday against Detroit he played a season-high 22 offensive snaps, but he's considered a healthy scratch to close out the regular-season slate.

Rader was promoted to the Steelers' active roster Saturday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Rader is on track to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Browns with fellow tight end Eric Ebron moving to the reserve/COVID-19 list. Rader is a Youngstown State product who collected 22 receptions for 272 yards and a pair of scores during his final collegiate season in 2017.

Seals-Jones was released by the Chiefs on Saturday.

Seals-Jones logged four offensive snaps in Week 16 against the Falcons, but he'd been inactive since Week 6 prior to that instance. The Chiefs promoted Gehrig Dieter to their active roster upon waiving Seals-Jones.

Pinkney is slated to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Buccaneers, but playing time could be minimal for the rookie out of Vanderbilt with the team's corps of tight ends at full health.

Kroft has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play in the regular-season finale against the Dolphins, the Bills' official site reports.

While Kroft did suit up Monday against the Patriots, he's a clear reserve behind Dawson Knox and is often a healthy scratch these days, so this development doesn't change the fantasy landscape unless any of Kroft's teammates are deemed close contacts.

Togiai (knee) was activated from injured reserve Saturday.

Togiai is on track to play in Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, which will mark his first appearance since Week 10. The rookie out of Oregon State isn't expected to have much of an impact on offense, though, as Jack Doyle, Trey Burton and Mo Alie-Cox already command most of the reps at tight end.

Hill may handle more reps in Sunday's game against the Panthers following news that Alvin Kamara, Latavius Murray and Dwayne Washington are out after being placed on the COVID-19 list, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports.

It's unclear exactly how the backfield will shake out. The Saints are expected to promote running back Tony Jones from the practice squad, and Ty Montgomery has experience at the position, too. However, with none of the top backs available, Hill could be in line for a bulk of the goal-line rushes, providing an intriguing opportunity to add to the seven rushing scores he's accrued thus far.
