Fumagalli wasn't targeted in Saturday's 48-19 loss to the Bills.

Fumagalli produced a 4-53-0 line in last week's win over the Panthers, but he fell out of favor this week with Noah Fant handling a full workload. Still, it's intriguing that he out-snapped Nick Vannett by a 19-16 margin, as he's putting together a case to stay with the team for the 2021 season.

Vannett didn't catch his lone target in Sunday's 48-19 loss to the Bills.

Vannett logged 16 snaps on offense, finishing behind Noah Fant (44) and Troy Fumagalli (19). Fant was the only position mate to catch a pass, however, as he finished with an 8-68-1 line on 11 targets. Vannett and Fumagalli will continue to compete for the No. 2 role in Denver's offense, and it could simply shape up as a timeshare moving forward.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that Kittle (foot) has a chance to play in Saturday's game versus the Cardinals, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. "He's got a chance this week. That was the point to get him back in practice this week," Shanahan said. "I'm looking to see how he is this week, and if he's good, I plan on playing him."

Kittle has been pushing to return before the end of the season after suffering a foot fracture in Week 8 against the Seahawks. Even though the 49ers are out of playoff contention, it doesn't sound like the team will rest its star tight end if he's medically cleared to play. If Kittle is good to go, he'll catch passes from C.J. Beathard, who was named the starting quarterback after Nick Mullens (elbow) was ruled out for the year.

Engram caught four of seven targets for 46 yards Sunday against the Browns.

He was nursing a calf injury heading into the game, but it didn't seem to affect his workload. He'll remain involved in the offense, but there's not a ton to go around given the state of quarterback play.

Arnold caught three of five passes for 54 yards during Sunday's 33-26 victory over the Eagles.

Arnold has been on a bit of a roll over the last five games, averaging 18.1 YPC and 9.6 YPT and scoring four touchdowns on his 17 targets. Two of his three catches Sunday went for 20 or more yards, which brings him to four total over the last three contests. Arnold will look to build further on his connection with Kyler Murray in the final two outings of the season.

Helm reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

The Duke product was contained to only special-teams usage over his first three NFL appearances Week 6, 9 and 10, but he fielded 21 of 84 offensive snaps against the Cowboys. Helm didn't attract any targets in the passing game, however, as Ross Dwelley paced the tight end position with two catches for 28 yards.

Myarick reverted to Miami's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Week 15 marked Myarick's second consecutive game appearance, but the Temple product attracted no targets over three offensive snaps. Durham Smythe headed up the tight end position for Miami, reeling in all five of his targets for a team-high 40 receiving yards in a win over New England.

Tomlinson reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Tomlinson failed to haul in his lone Week 15 target, but he fielded 23 of 66 offensive snaps against Jacksonville, a workload which ranked second at the tight end position behind only Mark Andrews. The UTEP product has been active for four consecutive games with Nick Boyle (knee-MCL) residing on injured reserve.

Goedert caught four of his eight targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 33-26 loss to Arizona.

Goedert's day was almost much better, as he was twice targeted in the end zone on the Eagles' penultimate drive, but he couldn't reel in either chance. The 25-year-old led the team in targets for a second-straight week, but this time Jalen Reagor saw eight as well. The third-year vet also saw more snaps than any offensive skill player and 11 more than Zach Ertz.

Dwelley caught both of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 41-33 loss to the Cowboys.

Dwelley continues to start games for San Francisco while George Kittle (foot) remains on IR. The 25-year-old logged 46 offensive snaps (55 percent) compared to backup tight end Jordan Reed's 42 (50 percent), but the latter saw three extra targets and caught a touchdown pass. Reed is the more desirable fantasy asset due to his superior receiving capabilities, but neither is a must-start in standard fantasy formats heading into a Week 16 matchup with the Cardinals.
