Irv Smith TE | HOU
Vikings' Irv Smith: Out for Monday
Smith (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's contest against the Bears.
Smith failed to practice all week so this designation is hardly surprising. Expect Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Conklin to see a bump in targets with the second-year tight end unable to play.

Cole Kmet TE | CHI
Bears' Cole Kmet: Misses second straight practice
Kmet (groin) didn't participate in Friday's practice.
Kmet missed a practice last week with a groin injury and was ultimately active for the Week 9 loss to Tennessee, but his status is uncertain again after a second straight missed practice. The rookie second-rounder needs to get on the field in some capacity Saturday to have a shot at playing in Monday's divisional clash against the Vikings. Demetrius Harris and J.P. Holtz both stand to see increased usage behind starter Jimmy Graham if Kmet is forced to miss Week 10.

Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN
Packers' Marcedes Lewis: Ready to face former team
Lewis (knee) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Lewis put forth an LP/DNP/FP practice slate this week, which puts him on track to suit up Sunday. The veteran tight end played for the Jaguars from 2010-17, and with Robert Tonyan (ankle) considered questionable and John Lovett (knee) having recently been lost for the year due to a torn ACL, it's possible that Lewis could see a slight uptick in opportunities against his former squad.

Durham Smythe TE | BAL
Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Questionable after full practice
Smythe (concussion) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Smythe's trending in the right direction, as he practiced fully Friday following limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. It's unclear if Smythe has cleared the concussion protocol yet, but he'll have to do so in order to have any chance of playing Sunday. Adam Shaheen would see some extra snaps behind Mike Gesicki if Smythe can't go on game day.

Irv Smith TE | HOU
Vikings' Irv Smith: Misses practice again
Smith (groin) missed another practice Friday, but offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak is optimistic the tight end will be ready for Monday's game against the Bears, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Kubiak may be optimistic, but the back-to-back absences suggest Smith is likely to enter the game with an injury designation. The Vikings will have until Saturday afternoon/evening to make that determination, with Kyle Rudolph potentially in line for extra targets if Smith ends up absent or limited Monday.

Robert Tonyan TE | PIT
Packers' Robert Tonyan: Uncertain for Sunday
Tonyan (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
Tonyan appears truly questionable after he was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant and then held out of Friday's practice. A 1 p.m. ET kickoff makes things a little easier for fantasy managers if it comes down to a game-time decision, allowing for a wide range of alternatives. Teammates Jace Sternberger and Marcedes Lewis could both see extra snaps/targets if Tonyan is out, but neither would be a trustworthy option for fantasy lineups.
-
T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN
Lions' T.J. Hockenson: Questionable after limited practice
Hockenson (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Washington, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Hockenson was a mid-week addition to the injury report, albeit with the same toe issue that limited his practice participation last week. He was held out of Thursday's practice entirely, before returning Friday as a limited participant. There hasn't been any suggestion the injury is serious, but fantasy managers would be wise to check back when the Lions release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

Kaden Smith TE | WAS
Giants' Kaden Smith: Cleared for Week 10
Smith (concussion) isn't listed on the injury report heading into Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Smith has been cleared for action following back-to-back full practices Thursday and Friday. The Eagles have struggled to defend tight ends this season, but Smith's unlikely to get many opportunities to capitalize on this favorable matchup as the backup to Evan Engram.
-
Robert Tonyan TE | PIT
Packers' Robert Tonyan: Absent Friday
Tonyan (knee) isn't practicing Friday, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Added to the Thursday injury report as a limited participant, Tonyan now appears in serious danger of missing Sunday's game against the Jaguars. An absence would free up snaps for Jace Sternberger in passing situations, while Marcedes Lewis could also get more playing time but likely would continue to focus on blocking.
-
Eric Tomlinson TE | LAC
Eric Tomlinson: Let go by Giants
Tomlinson was waived by the Giants on Friday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
The 28-year-old has been on the active roster most of the season but hasn't seen game action since the season opener. Tomlinson could stay with the organization on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
