Kroft (ankle) will play Sunday against the Dolphins, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Kroft is finally ready to return after healing from a broken foot and then more recently a nasty ankle injury. Even though Kroft is the starter, we expect his role will expand relatively slowly, with rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney playing well and being far ahead of Kroft in terms of game shape.

Oliver is expected to start Sunday's game against the Bengals.

The 22-year-old missed the entire preseason and the first six weeks of the regular season due to the hamstring injury, but he'll be thrust into the starting role Week 7 in his NFL debut. Geoff Swaim (concussion/ankle) is inactive while James O'Shaughnessy (knee) is out for the season, leaving Oliver a prime opportunity to stake his claim for the No. 1 job at tight end.

Brown was released off the Texans' practice squad Saturday.

Brown signed with Houston's practice squad earlier in October, but he'll make way with the team adding QB Alex McGough. Brown went unselected out of Texas State in April's draft.

The Saints promoted Arnold to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

Arnold's spot on the 53-man roster comes with Jared Cook (ankle) ruled out for Week 7. The team waived Brian Parker to make room for the Wisconsin-Platteville product on the active roster. Last season, Arnold caught 12 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown across 10 games for New Orleans.

The Seahawks placed Dissly (Achilles) on injured reserve Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Reed underwent surgery to repair his torn Achilles earlier this week. The procedure went well, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.com, which gives hope that the emerging tight end could recover a few months ahead of the typical timeframe for such an injury. Additionally, Dissly's placement on injured reserve allows the Seahawks room for Jarran Reed on the 53-man roster.

Kittle (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Washington, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Kittle played through the same injury last week, catching eight passes for 103 yards in a 20-7 win over the Rams. He'll now face a Washington defense that's given up the 10th-most receiving yards (337) to tight ends.

Tonyan (hip) is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Tonyan was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, but he finished the week with two consecutive absences. The 25-year-old tight end appears on track to miss a second straight game, in which case Mercedes Lewis and Evan Baylis would serve as the top backups to Jimmy Graham.

Waller (foot) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers after practicing fully Friday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Waller was added to the Raiders' Week 7 injury report after being limited at practice Thursday, but he'll be a go Sunday, which is good news for the team's passing attack, given that top wideout Tyrell Williams (foot) will remained sidelined this weekend. Five games into his 2019 season, Waller has racked up 37 catches (on 42 targets) for 359 yards, numbers that make him a startable fantasy tight end and also recently earned him a multi-year contract extension with the Raiders, worth about $9 million per season, according to Gutierrez.

Graham (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Graham returned to practice Friday as a limited participant and now appears fine to face the Raiders. He could be in for a busy afternoon, with Davante Adams (toe) ruled out, Geronimo Allison (concussion/chest) listed as doubtful and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee/ankle) headed for a game-time decision.

Kroft (ankle) practiced fully Friday for the third straight day and does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

After missing the first five games, it looks like the Bills will finally get their starting tight end back, but with so much time missed there's a good chance he'll start out by sharing time as a receiving option with rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney, both of whom have been effective in Kroft's absence.
