Daniels (coach's decision) is officially listed as inactive for Sunday's game against Detroit.

Daniels was originally promoted from the practice squad Saturday, so it's not surprising that he's among the healthy scratches. The Cardinals will roll with Charles Clay and Maxx Williams for Sunday's contest.

Seals-Jones (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Titans.

Seals-Jones was unable to make the Cardinals' 53-man roster after the preseason, but the Browns gave him another chance by claiming the tight end off waivers. With the decision to hold him out Week 1, it's clear he'll need some time to acclimate to a new system and may even need an injury to David Njoku or Demetrius Harris to make an impact in 2019.

Knox's teammate Tyler Kroft is inactive for Sunday's opener against the Jets as he continues to recover from a broken foot.

Knox isn't the clear-cut substitute starter given his rookie status and own issues coming back from a recent hamstring injury. Fellow rookie Tommy Sweeney could also see a more important role Sunday with Kroft out, while Lee Smith is really only a glorified blocker. That all said, Knox could see a few looks in the passing game -- not enough to make him a fantasy play just yet, but enough to monitor how he does with the opportunity.

Conklin (ribs) is officially listed as inactive for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Conklin suffered the rib injury during Friday's practice, and as evidenced by this news, it will cost him Week 1 availability. The fact that Conklin is inactive won't have a large fantasy impact, and the team will roll with Brandon Dillon as its third-string tight end.

Kroft (foot) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Given that Kroft is bouncing back from a broken foot, it's not surprising that the Bills are playing it safe with the tight end, who signed a three-year, $18.75 million contract with the team back in March. Once fully up to speed, Kroft figures to be a key member of the team's passing attack, but for now, Dawson Knox, Lee Smith and Tommy Sweeney profile as the Bills' top healthy options at the tight end position.

The Cardinals have promoted Daniels to the active roster, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Daniels was working on the team's practice squad, and they'll bring him up for additional depth ahead of Sunday's game versus the Lions. He's not expected to play a large role in the team's offense at this time, however, since Charles Clay and Maxx Williams are ahead of him on the depth chart.

Fumagalli was limited during Saturday's practice with an illness, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.

Fumagalli didn't pick up any sort of game designation despite the illness, so it's unlikely the tight end will be limited in any way Monday. He's unlikely to see much playing time with both Jeff Heuerman and Noah Fant listed above him on the depth chart.

Waller could be a candidate to receive more targets after the Raiders released Antonio Brown on Saturday.

Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow and even J.J. Nelson are the more obvious names who stand to benefit from Brown's release, but Waller's already fast-rising fantasy value could skyrocket up further with Saturday's not-so-shocking announcement. The tight end was already turning heads throughout training camp, and benefited nationally from extra coverage throughout HBO's Hard Knocks, but a lack of obvious pass catchers in Oakland almost solidifies Waller's value as a low-floor, high-ceiling option. He'll face a difficult matchup Week 1 against the Broncos, but it's not hard to envision a scenario where Waller puts together numbers similar to Jared Cook, who was the Raiders' primary pass catcher in 2018 to the tune of 68 receptions, 896 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

The Redskins promoted Holtz to their active roster Saturday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Holtz originally failed to make the Redskins' 53-man ruster, but subsequently landed on their practice squad. Now, with Jordan Reed (concussion) unlikely to play Week 1, the team is opting to add depth at tight end. Still, Jeremy Sprinkle figures to get most of the backup tight end run behind Vernon Davis should Reed ultimately suit up.

Butler (undisclosed) has reverted to the Raiders' injured reserve ​per the NFL's official transaction log.

Butler went unclaimed on the wire after getting waived with an injury designation. While it remains unclear what he is dealing with, he is set to spend the season on IR unless he can come to terms on an injury settlement.
