Uzomah (clavicle) logged a limited practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Uzomah is thus trending toward playing Sunday against the Saints, barring any setbacks over the next few days. The tight end's production has been spotty despite him taking on an expanded role in the wake of injuries to Tyler Eifert (foot) and Tyler Kroft (foot), but if healthy, his opportunities could pick up in Week 10. The Bengals will be without the services of top wideout A.J. Green (toe), who has been targeted 9.5 times per game this season.

Uzomah (shoulder) practiced Wednesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Uzomah may end up being listed as a limited participant, but his presence for the Bengals' first official practice coming out of a bye week bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Saints. His availability would be a boost to the team's passing attack, which will be tasked with making up for the absence of top wideout A.J. Green (foot).

Njoku (knee/ribs) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.

This marks the third straight week Njoku has been limited on a Wednesday, but he's yet to miss a game or see his snaps reduced. Any form of participation Thursday would keep him on track to play in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Higbee caught two of four targets for 40 yards during Sunday's 45-35 loss to New Orleans.

The 40 receiving yards stand as a season high for Higbee, and he once again played more offensive snaps (42) than Gerald Everett (18). The third-year tight end also showed impressive athleticism on his 33-yard reception in the first quarter. Still, without increased involvement in the offense, Higbee's an unreliable asset in most fantasy setups.

Everett caught three of five targets for 48 yards during Sunday's 45-35 loss to New Orleans.

This was Everett's best showing of the season, and he notched a reception of 20-plus yards for the second consecutive week. There's no questioning the sophomore's potential, but until he's incorporated into the offense more consistently, fantasy players will struggle to trust him in the majority of settings. Additionally, Everett played just 18 offensive snaps compared to fellow tight end Tyler Higbee's 42.

Smith caught both of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 28-14 win over the Cowboys.

Smith caught what was ultimately the game-winning touchdown on a shovel pass from Marcus Mariota with just under six minutes remaining in the third quarter. It was his third career touchdown, but first of the season. Overall, it has been a disappointing campaign for Smith, who was expected to see an increased role due to the absence of Delanie Walker (ankle). However, lack of passing volume in the Titans offense has held him back, and though the touchdown will provide some reason for optimism, Smith still saw only two targets. That makes it safe to leave him on the waiver wire in nearly all seasonal formats, despite the lack of quality options at tight end.

Njoku secured four of five targets for 53 yards during Sunday's 37-21 loss to the Chiefs.

Njoku was able to bounce back against the Chiefs after a Week 8 performance that ended with zero receptions, though he finished tied for fourth on the team in targets. The second-year tight end has 35 catches for 350 yards and two touchdowns on the season, but has yet to eclipse 70 yards in a single game, and if Duke Johnson -- who led the team in targets, catches and yards -- continues to be Baker Mayfield's favorite pass catcher in Cleveland's new offense, Njoku's value could ultimately suffer.

Swaim (knee) is inactive for Monday's game against the Titans, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Swaim was listed as doubtful coming into Monday, so it is not surprising to see he will not suit up. Blake Jarwin and Rico Gathers figure to see a more prominent role in the Cowboys offense with Swaim out. Dalton Schultz, a 2018 fourth-round pick, should fill a more relevant depth role at tight end.

Gesicki did not catch his only target during Sunday's 13-6 win over the Jets.

Gesicki was the target of quarterback Brock Osweiler's only pass to the tight end position Week 9, but he failed to reel the ball in. The rookie has not put up a goose egg since Week 2, also a contest against the Jets, during which he was not targeted. Gesicki will look to bounce back during Miami's tilt against Green Bay on Sunday, in which the Dolphins' passing offense may see more volume.

Uzomah (shoulder) didn't practice Monday and said he likely will take it easy this week, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Uzomah doesn't seem to be worried about his availability for Sunday's game against the Saints, as he mentioned that a Week 9 bye helped with the healing process. He could be a big part of the Week 10 game plan with Cincinnati already thin at tight end and now likely without A.J. Green (foot).
