Gesicki did not catch his only target during Sunday's 13-6 win over the Jets.

Gesicki was the target of quarterback Brock Osweiler's only pass to the tight end position Week 9, but he failed to reel the ball in. The rookie has not put up a goose egg since Week 2, also a contest against the Jets, during which he was not targeted. Gesicki will look to bounce back during Miami's tilt against Green Bay on Sunday, in which the Dolphins' passing offense may see more volume.

Uzomah (shoulder) didn't practice Monday and said he likely will take it easy this week, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Uzomah doesn't seem to be worried about his availability for Sunday's game against the Saints, as he mentioned that a Week 9 bye helped with the healing process. He could be a big part of the Week 10 game plan with Cincinnati already thin at tight end and now likely without A.J. Green (foot).

Hill rushed twice for 10 yards and gained 49 yards on two kickoff returns in Sunday's win against the Rams. He also dropped his only target.

The Saints eased back on Hill's usage against the Rams' formidable defense -- he played just 11 of the team's 71 offensive snaps -- but the hybrid quarterback still converted on a fourth-down run that eventually led to a touchdown on the Saints' first drive. Still, head coach Sean Payton continues to use Hill in a variety of ways, and while the quarterback is unlikely to be a serious fantasy contributor in most leagues, he remains an option for desperate owners in two-quarterback leagues.

Allen was on the field for 66 of a possible 71 snaps on offense in Sunday night's 31-17 win over the Packers.

Both Rob Gronkowski (back/ankle) and Jacob Hollister (hamstring) were inactive Sunday, leaving Allen as the only tight end the Patriots had available Week 9. Allen was targeted once in the game, leading to a 21-yard gain, but as usual, Allen's greatest impact was as a blocker. That's not likely to change anytime soon, regardless of his snap count.

Kroft (foot) is still wearing a protective boot, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Kroft is recovering from a fractured right foot, and while the Bengals are optimistic he can return before the end of the season, it's safe to assume he won't be ready for Week 10 against the Saints. C.J. Uzomah figures to dominate snaps and targets at tight end.

Lewis caught one pass for five yards in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

Lewis caught his first pass of the season Sunday, but he also tied a season-low with just seven offensive snaps. He has been a depth player for the Packers all season and simply isn't seeing the field enough to help fantasy players.

Though the Chargers are hopeful Henry (knee) will be ready to come off the PUP list at some point in December, his return is still viewed as a "long shot," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Henry tore the ACL in his right knee during OTAs in May, with the timing of the injury expected to keep him sidelined for the entire 2018 season. While that still appears to be the most likely scenario, Henry has at least increased his chance of a possible return by progressing to running and squatting in recent weeks. Moreover, the tight end has relayed that he has suffered no setbacks in his rehab to date, which keeps the door open for the tight end to make an impact for the Chargers late in the regular season and/or during a potential postseason run. Given the significance of the injury and his long-term value to Los Angeles, Henry's snaps could be limited if he's able to defy the odds and suit up for the team down the stretch.

Andrews caught three of six targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to Pittsburgh.

Nick Boyle may be the starter and Hayden Hurst the first-round pick, but Andrews is the tight end Baltimore trusts to take the field on passing downs. The rookie third-round selection enters a Week 10 bye on pace for a 37-434-4 receiving line on 57 targets, while neither Boyle nor Hurst has made much of a dent. The Ravens may want to find more snaps for Andrews if they use the bye week as an opportunity to make major changes to their stagnant offense.

Hurst caught one of two targets for 21 yards in a 23-16 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

After catching his first career touchdown in garbage time the previous week, Hurst was outshined Sunday by fellow tight end Mark Andrews, who caught three of six targets for 50 yards. The two rookies are stuck in a timeshare alongside veteran blocking specialist Nick Boyle, with Andrews the preferred option on obvious passing downs. Hurst has caught just four of 10 targets through the first five games of his career as he enters a Week 10 bye.

Akins did not catch any of his three targets in Sunday's 19-17 win over Denver.

This was the third consecutive game without a reception for Akins, whose 36 snaps on offense were his most since Week 4. With the Texans short at wide receiver, all of Houston's tight ends got significant playing time, and Akins brought up the rear behind Ryan Griffin (47) and Jordan Thomas (39). Akins has received increased playing time of late due to injuries at wideout, but quarterback Deshaun Watson rarely looks his way. His three targets Sunday equaled the number of targets he had over the previous four games. Houston has its bye week coming up, which will give Keke Coutee (hamstring) time to heal heading into Week 11 against Washington. Whenever Coutee returns, we expect Akins' playing time to take a hit.
