Taysom Hill QB | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Career-long pass completion
Hill caught one pass for five yards, rushed three times for negative two yards and returned two kickoffs for 50 yards in Sunday night's win against the Vikings. He also completed his only pass attempt for 44 yards, a career-long.
In what has become common practice, Hill was once again deployed all over the field by head coach Sean Payton. The third-string quarterback played 18 offensive snaps and probably should have had his first career touchdown pass, but his completion to an open Michael Thomas was underthrown. Hill looks to be a mainstay in the Saints' offensive plans and while his varied contributions would have significant fantasy value, unless he's assigned multi-position eligibility he's unlikely to help most fantasy owners outside of those in two-quarterback leagues.

Jimmy Graham TE | NO
Packers' Jimmy Graham: Neutralized as Packers fall back to .500
Graham collected one reception for 21 yards during a 29-27 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Graham cooled off in Week 8, as he was contained to fewer than 25 receiving yards for the third time this season. The veteran tight end came into Sunday's tilt with the Rams having amassed 180 yards on 19 targets over the preceding two games, but Los Angeles' talented defense was able to hold him to just one catch on four targets, often funneling extra attention to the big-bodied Graham in the red zone to keep him making an impact. Sunday presents a promising matchup for Graham in a New England defense that entered the weekend tied for a league-worst five touchdown receptions allowed to tight ends.

George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Makes five catches in loss to Cardinals
Kittle caught five of eight targets for 57 yards during Sunday's 18-15 loss to the Cardinals.
Kittle finished behind only Kendrick Bourne in targets, catches and yardage as he went over 50 receiving yards for the sixth time in eight games. He's begun to draw additional attention from opposing defenses, but his rapport with C.J. Beathard makes him a useful fantasy starter most weeks. Kittle will square off with the Chiefs on Thursday.

Travis Kelce TE | KC
Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Scores in win
Kelce caught six of 10 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 30-23 win over Denver.
Kelce's touchdown reception got Kansas City's offense back on track midway through the second quarter as he split two defenders for a 9-yard score, his first touchdown since his last matchup against Denver in Week 4. Kelce is on pace to tie his career high in touchdown receptions for a season and, even when he isn't scoring, continues to pile up receptions and yardage. The sixth-year veteran has now nabbed at least five passes in seven consecutive games and topped 90 yards receiving in five of those contests. A tough matchup against a stingy Cleveland pass defense looms next Sunday.

Jesse James TE | LV
Steelers' Jesse James: Another disappointing outing on Sunday
James caught two of his three targets for nine yards during Sunday's 33-18 win over Cleveland.
After totaling 198 receiving yards and a score in the first two games this season James has managed a meager 85 yards over the next five with no touchdowns. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere to fill their tight end lineup spot, especially in Week 9 against a Baltimore pass defense that has allowed just two touchdowns to tight ends this season, although both scores have come in the past two games.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Giants' Evan Engram: Finds end zone in loss to Redskins
Engram caught five of nine targets for 25 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 20-13 win over the Redskins.
Engram finished behind only Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley in targets as he finished with his second-highest catch total of the season. He recorded a long gain of just nine yards, but a two-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter helped him to a somewhat useful fantasy contribution. Engram was rather quiet last week in his return from an injury absence, but he was much more involved this time around and appears to be regaining fantasy utility for a Giants team that should be forced to throw often the rest of the way. He'll now enjoy a bye before taking on the 49ers in Week 10.

C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI
Bengals' C.J. Uzomah: Gets past injury scare in win
Uzomah, who failed to come up with any of his four targets during Sunday's 37-34 win over the Buccaneers, was temporarily sidelined by a shoulder injury during the contest, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
The Bengals' one healthy tight end saw that status in peril during the game, when he appeared to have suffered a shoulder injury. Although Uzomah did return to the contest, he finished without any receptions in the high-scoring affair. The 25-year-old had a three-game streak of multiple receptions snapped and will now have a Week 9 bye to rest up before a Week 10 battle against the Saints.
-
Johnny Mundt TE | PHI
Rams' Johnny Mundt: Inactive for Week 8
Mundt (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
Mundt is listed as inactive for the first time this season, leaving Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett as the Rams' only two tight end options during Sunday's game against the Packers. It's unlikely that Mundt's absence will affect Los Angeles' offense in any significant way, considering that he's taken the majority of his snaps on special teams.

Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Eagles' Zach Ertz: Finds end zone in Week 8
Ertz caught four of six targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Jaguars in London.
Ertz was kept quiet for most of the game, but he made owners happy with a five-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. He's consistently been among the top performers at the tight end position, but owners will have to look elsewhere in Week 9 with the Eagles on bye.
