Chiefs' Jake Briningstool: Involved at training camp
Briningstool (hamstring) is participating in training camp, Jared Sapp of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports that Briningstool caught a great ball from Garrett Nussmeier on Wednesday and appears to be back in playing shape. The tight end missed the 2025 season due to a persistent hamstring injury.

Travis Kelce TE | KC
Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Looks sharp to begin training camp
Kelce was one of Kansas City's standout performers on the first day of training camp, Jesse Newell of The Athletic reports.
"He looked pretty good," head coach Andy Reid said of Kelce. "He stayed in shape." Kelce had an eventful offseason ahead of his 14th NFL seasons, as he married Taylor Swift on July 3. The 36-year-old tight end recorded at least 823 regular-season receiving yards in each of the previous 12 campaigns.

Eli Stowers TE | PHI
Eagles' Eli Stowers: Returns healthy for camp
Stowers (lower body) is practicing at the first week of training camp, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The rookie second-round pick missed a few spring practices with an unspecified lower body injury. Now healthy, Stowers will have the next few weeks to make his case for a role in Philadelphia's offense. Dallas Goedert returns as the starter and has a long track record of handling huge snap shares.

Erick All TE | CIN
Bengals' Erick All: Getting eased back into action
All (knee) has been cleared to participate at training camp in a limited capacity, Chris Roling of USA Today reports.
It's an encouraging update for All, who was sidelined for the entire 2025 campaign after complications from a surgery to repair a ruptured ACL he suffered in November of 2024. He'll be competing with veteran Tanner Hudson and rookie seventh-rounder Jack Endries for positioning on the bottom half of the tight end depth chart in 2026.

Anthony Firkser TE | DET
Anthony Firkser: Let go by Washington
The Commanders released Firkser on Wednesday.
Firkser signed with the Commanders in early June, marking yet another stop on the veteran tight end's journey throughout the NFL. The 31-year-old has spent time with the Titans, Falcons, Lions, Chiefs and Jets as well. The Harvard journeyman, not to be confused with Ryan Fitzpatrick, will now be an unrestricted free agent available to sign with any team.

Mitchell Evans TE | CAR
Panthers' Mitchell Evans: Diagnosed with low-ankle sprain
Evans has been diagnosed with a low ankle sprain and is considered day-to-day, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
The Panthers got another injury scare when Evans had to be carted off the field Tuesday, but Evans avoided a serious injury. The 23-year-old was a fifth-round pick last year and secured 19 of 25 targets for 171 yards and two touchdowns across 17 regular-season games as a rookie.

Harold Fannin Jr. TE | CLE
Browns' Harold Fannin: Full-go for training camp
Fannin (groin) said Wednesday that he will be "full-go" for training camp, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com, Fannin said he missed the Browns' offseason workout program due to a procedure to address a groin injury he sustained in Week 17 of the 2025 campaign. However, the tight end noted Wednesday that he was cleared about two weeks ago and is thus ready to reclaim his role as the team's top option at his position, a context that should result in weekly fantasy utility for the 2025 third-rounder, regardless of who between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders wins the team's ongoing QB competition.

Luke Musgrave TE | GB
Packers' Luke Musgrave: Injury severity being determined
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Wednesday that Musgrave was placed on the active/PUP list due to a neck injury and that the team is working to diagnose whether the tight end is facing a long-term issue, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Gutekunst said that Green Bay's policy is to always be cautious with neck injuries. If Musgrave is able to return to the practice field in short order, he may be able to benefit from increased reps while Tucker Kraft (ACL), who is also on the active/PUP list, progresses in his own recovery. That said, Kraft still appears to have a chance to be on the field in Week 1, potentially relegating Musgrave to his usual depth role in any case. Musgrave appears to have sustained his neck injury during OTAs in June.

Tucker Kraft TE | GB
Packers' Tucker Kraft: Week 1 remains in play
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Wednesday it's "very much a possibility" that Kraft (ACL), who began training camp on the active/PUP list, will be ready to play Week 1, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
Gutekunst said he expects Kraft to come off the PUP list "sooner than later" during camp, and that Green Bay considers it in the team's best interest to ink the standout tight end to an extension before the start of the regular season, per Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. Still, Gutekunst affirmed that Green Bay will be "cautious" with Kraft until the nine-month mark, per Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com, with the tight end currently roughly 8.5 months into his recovery.

Kenyon Sadiq TE | NYJ
Jets' Kenyon Sadiq: Back at practice
Sadiq (abdomen) was present for practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The 2026 first-rounder missed OTAs and minicamp due to hernia surgery, but as expected Sadiq is ready for training camp. As a rookie, Sadiq -- who ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the 2026 NFL Combine -- has a chance to emerge as a key pass-catching option for QB Geno Smith while working in a TE corps that also includes 2025 second-rounder Mason Taylor and Jeremy Ruckert.
