Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Limited at practice Wednesday
Bowers (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday.
Bowers continues to manage a knee issue, but at this stage there's no reason to believe that his status for Sunday's game against the Colts is in danger. With that in mind, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site relayed earlier Wednesday that coach Pete Carroll said that the talented tight will continue to be a point of emphasis in the team's offense even as he works through his knee issue, with Carroll adding that he believes Bowers -- who logged a 5/46/0 stat line on six targets in Week 4, while recording a 77 percent snap share -- will look much better once he sheds his knee brace.

Michael Mayer TE | LV
Raiders' Michael Mayer: Limited on Wednesday
Mayer (concussion) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Paul H. Gutierrez of Raiders.com reports.
Mayer remains in the league's concussion protocol after he was injured in Week 3. The third-year tight end missed last Sunday's loss to the Bears. Mayer has six catches for 47 scoreless yards this season.
-
John Bates TE | WAS
Commanders' John Bates: All set for Week 5
Bates (groin) was a full participant at practice Wednesday.
Bates has been sidelined for each of the team's last two games due to a groin injury, but he now appears to be ready to return to action in Week 5. The 27-year-old will be back in his role as a top reserve option behind Zach Ertz at tight end versus the Chargers on Sunday.
-
Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: Absent from practice Wednesday
Adkins (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.
Adkins played 34 offensive snaps and another four on special teams in Monday night's win over the Bengals, securing two of his three targets for five yards. Adkins has minimal fantasy value.

Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Returns to limited practice
Dissly (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Dissly, who has missed the Chargers' last two games and had sat out all six of the team's practices since the start of Week 3 prep, is thus moving in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders. The tight end will presumably need to practice fully by Friday, however, in order to avoid a Week 5 injury designation.
-
Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Doesn't practice due to knee issue
Goedert was held out of practice Wednesday due to a knee injury.
Goedert sat out Week 2 due to a sprained knee but otherwise has played in the Eagles' three other games this season, combining for a 12-114-3 line on 13 targets. He's also earned at least a 75 percent snap share on all three occasions. It's unclear if the current injury is related to the previous one, but after a DNP to begin Week 5 prep, he'll have opportunities Thursday and Friday to prove his health ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos.
-
Foster Moreau TE | NO
Saints' Foster Moreau: Logs limited practice activity
Moreau (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Moreau and Taysom Hill (knee) both logged limited practice activity Wednesday after having had their 21-day practice windows opened. Meanwhile, starting tight end Juwan Johnson (foot) was unable to practice to open Week 5. Moreau opened the regular season on the reserve/PUP list and is now in the last stages of his recovery from knee surgery undergone in early January. If Johnson is at risk of missing any time due to injury, Moreau could be positioned to step into a notable role on offense once fully cleared to retake the field.
-
Taysom Hill TE | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Limited as practice window opens
Hill (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
After missing the first four games of the season, Hill has resumed on-field work as the Saints officially opened his 21-day window in which to practice and eventually be activated from the reserve/PUP list. His activity Wednesday included drills primarily with quarterbacks but also with tight ends, per Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. Hill thus seems poised to operate in his previous roles around the Saints offense once he completes his recovery from the torn ACL that he suffered in his left knee Week 13 of the 2024 campaign.
-
Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: DNP due to ankle issue
Johnson missed Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury
This marks the first time this season that Johnson's practice reps have been impacted in any way, while fellow TEs Taysom Hill (knee, reserve/PUP list) and Foster Moreau (knee, reserve/PUP list), who had their practice windows opened this week, were both limited. It remains to be seen if Johnson's status is in peril for Sunday's game against the Giants, but he at least will have two more chances to mix into drills this week before the Saints potentially make a ruling on his availability for Week 5.

Noah Fant TE | CIN
Bengals' Noah Fant: Estimated as limited in practice
Fant (concussion) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Fant didn't practice last week before being ruled out for Monday night's loss to the Broncos, but the tight end's limited listing on Wednesday's estimate suggests that he has a chance to be cleared to play in advance of Sunday's game against the Lions. He'll have two more chances to upgrade his participation level before the Bengals post their final Week 5 injury designations.
