  • Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew sidelined with knee injury

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee) is inactive Sunday against Chicago.

Pettigrew wasn't listed on the injury report this week, as he apparently developed the knee ailment late in the weekend. His absence is quite untimely for Detroit, as the team will also be without the services of Eric Ebron (knee) as well.

  • Tim Wright is Lions' lone healthy tight end heading into Week 6

With news that Brandon Pettigrew developed a knee injury Saturday, Tim Wright is the lone healthy Lions' tight end for Sunday's game against the Bears, the MLive.com reports.

The Lions had already ruled out starter Eric Ebron with a knee injury, and now Pettigrew is questionable for Sunday. Wright, who had three catches for 12 yards last week, is expected to get a significant amount of playing time.

  • Lions' Brandon Pettigrew deemed questionable for Week 6 vs. Bears

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew has developed a knee injury and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, MLive.com reports.

Pettigrew was expected to get significant playing with Eric Ebron (knee) already being ruled out for the game. This development leaves Tim Wright as the lone healthy tight end.

  • Darren Waller TE | CAR

Ravens WR Darren Waller ruled out for Week 6 vs. 49ers

Ravens wide recenver Darren Waller (concussion) is out for Sunday's game in San Francisco, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Waller got some extra playing time in Week 5 with Steve Smith (back) sidelined, but the 6-6 rookie suffered an injury of his own. Even if he recovers before Smith, Waller is unlikely to be any higher than fourth or fifth in the pecking order for targets.

  • Lions TE Timothy Wright catches three passes in loss to Arizona

Lions tight end Timothy Wright caught three passes off of five targets for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to Arizona.

Wright, with a skillset resembling that of a jumbo-sized wide receiver, was thought to potentially be in line for a larger role in Detroit's passing game in Eric Ebron's absense. Instead, the Lions threw more to its backs and slot receivers. With no set timetable for Ebron's return, Wright will have more opportunities to emerge in Detroit, but Sunday's game didn't offer much promise.

  • Zach Ertz TE | WAS

Eagles TE Zach Ertz picks up big yards in Week 5 win over Saints

Eagles tight end Zach Ertz caught five passes for 60 yards in Sunday's 39-17 win over the Saints.

Despite splitting more pass-catching time with fellow tight end Brent Celek than previously expected, Ertz's game has shown improvement since the beginning of the season. Considering he was returning from an injury that kept him out of the entire preseason, a slow start was to be expected. With five games under his belt, and quarterback Sam Bradford looking more comfortable in the Eagles' offense, expect Ertz's stock to keep rising as the season continues.

  • Jimmy Graham TE | NO

Struggles for Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham continue in Week 5 loss

Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham had three catches on five targets for 30 yards Sunday against the Bengals.

The Seahawks' offensive line continues to struggle, which doesn't give Graham much time to get open on plays when he's running routes. He scored touchdowns in Weeks 1 and 3, but he's failed to reach even 35 passing yards in the other three games. He continues to have elite receiving skills, but quarterback Russell Wilson spreads the ball around enough that it makes it very tough to project when Graham could break out. Up next is a Week 6 home game against Carolina.

  • Darren Waller TE | CAR

Concussion knocks Ravens WR Darren Waller out of game

Ravens wideout Darren Waller is out is with a concussion for the rest of the Week 5 battle against the visiting Browns.

Waller was knocked out in the third quarter after taking a huge hit. The sixth round draft pick recorded his first NFL reception last week.

  • Lions' Brandon Pettigrew: Active Sunday

Pettigrew (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday against the Cardinals, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Making his first appearance since Week 1, Pettigrew could make an immediate impact due to Eric Ebron's (knee) absence. However, Pettigrew has been targeted only 16 times in 15 games since the start of the 2014 season.

  • Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN

Jaguars' Marcedes Lewis: Listed as active

Lewis (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bucs.

The return to action of fellow TE Julius Thomas caps Lewis' fantasy upside this week, thus restricting his fantasy utility to the deepest of formats.
