  • Gunnar Helm TE | TEN

Titans' Gunnar Helm: One catch in regular-season debut

Helm recorded one catch (on two targets) for 16 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.

Helm was on the field for 40 percent of offensive snaps, a relatively impressive mark considering it was his first regular-season game as a pro. He saw both of his targets in the first half of the first quarter, though the Titans' passing attack wasn't on track for most of the game. Helm may progress slowly, but he should have the chance to emerge as more of a consistent contributor later in the season.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Three catches in Week 1

Okonkwo recorded three receptions (on four targets) for 19 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.

Okonkwo's four targets were good enough for the third-highest mark on the team behind only Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor. His longest gain of the day went for 14 yards, the majority of which came after the catch. The Titans' passing attack struggled to get much traction Week 1, but Okonkwo was on the field for 88 percent of the offensive snaps, which bodes well for his potential to make an impact moving forward.

  • Jack Stoll TE | CLE

Jack Stoll: Returns to practice squad

Stoll reverted to the Saints' practice squad Monday.

Stoll was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Cardinals and logged 18 snaps on offense and nine on special teams. He can be elevated two more times this season before New Orleans would have to officially sign him to the active roster.

  • Zaire Mitchell-Paden: Reverts to practice squad

Mitchell-Paden reverted to Baltimore's practice squad Monday.

Mitchell-Paden was elevated ahead of Sunday's loss versus the Bills as Isaiah Likely was sidelined with a foot injury, and the former ended up seeing playing time on both offense and special teams but failed to record any stats. Mitchell-Paden could play again next week versus the Browns if Likely remains out.

  • Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Could be in line for more work

Ferguson played five snaps on special teams during Sunday's 14-9 win against the Texans.

Despite the second-round pedigree, Ferguson spent his first career regular-season game on the bench the Rams were on offense, failing to secure a single snap from scrimmage. Colby Parkinson (shoulder) had a rough day, however, taking two catches for minus-6 yards and losing a fumble while also sustaining a sprained AC joint in the victory. This may open the door for Ferguson to earn some snaps on offense in Week 2 alongside Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen, although a Titans defense that has been tough on tight ends under defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson may not be the most ideal setting for a breakout.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Invisible in victory

Higbee played 35 snaps on offense during Sunday's 14-9 win against the Texans.

For the first time since a Week 9 contest against Green Bay in 2023, the veteran tight end was held without a catch and failed to see even a target from Matthew Stafford. Higbee was on the field most out of the team's tight ends -- 35 of 60 snaps versus 29 for Colby Parkinson (shoulder) and 22 for Davis Allen -- but Parkinson and Allen recorded catches, and Allen scored what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown in the third quarter. Even with Parkinson suffering a sprained AC joint in the win, it'll be hard to trust Higbee or Allen for fantasy purposes given the amount of attention Puka Nacua, Davante Adams and Kyren Williams command in the offense; a Week 2 contest against a Titans defense that held Broncos tight ends in check last week doesn't bode well for a potential rebound, either.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: May miss 3-to-5 weeks

Kittle likely will miss 3-to-5 weeks due to the hamstring injury he sustained during Sunday's victory at Seattle, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Coach Kyle Shanahan relayed during Monday's media session that Kittle was expected to miss a "few weeks," according to David Lombardi of SFStandard.com. If the timeline that Rapoport put forth is more accurate, though, Kittle would be a candidate to be placed on injured reserve, which would require at least four games on the sideline. For as long as Kittle is out, Luke Farrell and Jake Tonges will serve as San Francisco's tight ends.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Out a few weeks

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Kittle will be out a "few weeks" due to the hamstring injury that knocked him out of Sunday's win in Seattle, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.

Kittle was ruled out in the first half with the health concern, and after undergoing an MRI it's been determined that the tight end will need to miss some time. Shanahan's comments indicate Kittle will miss at least this coming Sunday's contest at New Orleans and potentially an NFC West matchup with the Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 21. Luke Farrell and Jake Tonges are in line for TE snaps for San Francisco for as long as Kittle is sidelined.

  • Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Collects only target Week 1

Bellinger secured his only target for 14 yards in a Week 1 loss against the Commanders on Sunday.

Bellinger got New York down to Washington's three-yard line on a 14-yard connection with Russell Wilson in the fourth quarter, but the Giants were unable to emerge with a score. Theo Johnson dominated tight-end snaps for New York in Week 1 with 53, while Chris Manhertz logged 18 and Bellinger recorded 15. Despite Bellinger outdoing Johnson in receiving yardage in the loss, the latter figures to be the lead pass-catching option among New York's tight-end corps as long as he remains healthy.

  • Theo Johnson TE | NYG

Giants' Theo Johnson: Nabs just one catch Week 1

Johnson caught one of three targets for five yards in Sunday's loss to Washington.

Johnson dominated New York's tight-end snaps with 53 to Chris Manhertz's 18 and Daniel Bellinger's 15, but Johnson wasn't able to produce much with the opportunity. Meanwhile, Bellinger secured his only target for 14 yards while Manhertz didn't get any targets. The Giants' passing game -- and offense as a whole -- struggled Sunday, so it's difficult to glean much from individual players' stats on offense. It was at least promising for Johnson's fantasy viability moving forward that he logged such a heavy workload, though he'll likely need to get more balls thrown his way to have a chance of making an impact.
