George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Mild output to finish strong season
Kittle brought in two of three targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 47-24 loss to the Cardinals.
Kittle took a backseat to several teammates in a meaningless game to close out a disappointing year for San Francisco. The superstar tight end has little blame to place on himself after churning out another All-Pro worthy season for fantasy managers. He ranked third among tight ends in receiving yards (1,106) while finishing second in touchdowns (eight). The YAC monster also posted a healthy 14.2 average reception distance in an overall stellar campaign. Kittle will be entering the fifth and final year of his current contract as the 49ers look to bounce back from a 6-11 record in 2025.

Jonnu Smith TE | PIT
Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Leading receiver on 12 targets
Smith had nine receptions on 12 targets for 56 yards and a touchdown with a lost fumble in Sunday's 32-20 loss to the Jets.
Smith finished as the Dolphins' leading receiver across the board off of a season-high 12 targets. Despite losing one of Miami's two fumbles in the loss, the veteran tight end put a nice bow on a career year, scoring his eighth touchdown in his first season playing for the Dolphins. The eight scores tied his previous high-water mark from 2020, but he set new bests in receptions (88) and receiving yards (884) in 17 games. Smith's late-career resurgence has put the tight end on the map as a plus fantasy option after years of mediocrity.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Concludes remarkable rookie season
Bowers recorded four receptions on nine targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Chargers.
Bowers was unable to record his first catch until early in the third quarter, and the majority of his production came in garbage time on the Raiders' final offensive possession. Nevertheless, he managed to tally the fifth touchdown of his rookie season and reached at least 50 receiving yards for the fourth time in seven games since the Raiders' bye in Week 10. Bowers ends his incredible campaign with the most receptions by a rookie in NFL history (112) and the most yardage (1,194) by a rookie tight end in league history.

Foster Moreau TE | HOU
Saints' Foster Moreau: Injured in regular-season finale
Moreau reeled in all four targets for 31 yards before sustaining a knee injury during Sunday's 27-19 defeat versus the Buccaneers.
Moreau went down after sustaining a blow to his leg, and he was carted to the locker room late in the fourth quarter. Saints coach Darren Rizzi said postgame that the tight end suffered a knee injury, but he did not elaborate on the nature or severity of this issue, according to Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com. Moreau suited up for all 17 games this season, finishing with 32 catches for 413 yards and five touchdowns. His numbers never jumped off the page this season, but he was a solid complement opposite tight end Juwan Johnson, who recorded a 50-548-3 season stat line. Moreau joined the Saints on a two-year, $12 million contract in March of 2023. With the team likely to undergo a reset this offseason, it's unclear if Moreau will be back in New Orleans for the 2025 campaign.

Tyler Conklin TE | DET
Jets' Tyler Conklin: Catches Rodgers' 500th TD pass
Conklin caught two of three targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-20 win over the Dolphins. He finishes the season with 51 catches for 449 yards and four touchdowns on 72 targets.
The highlight of Conklin's season came in the finale, as he was the recipient of Aaron Rodgers' 500th career regular-season touchdown pass on a five-yard score in the second quarter. That was Conklin's fourth receiving touchdown of the season, establishing a new career high for the 29-year-old tight end. He will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason after four years in Minnesota and three with the Jets.

Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Logs six catches Week 18
Johnson notched six receptions (on seven targets) for 80 yards during Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Buccaneers.
Johnson recorded a season high in yards, and he logged a season-high six receptions for the second week in a row. He and fellow tight end Foster Moreau (knee) saw increased production over the final two weeks, as rookie Spencer Rattler started in place of injured quarterback Derek Carr (hand). New Orleans was also without starting running back Alvin Kamara (groin) and wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) for the final three weeks. Johnson finishes the 2024 campaign with 50 catches for 548 yards and three touchdowns over 17 games. These marks represent his new career highs for receptions and yards, as he just surpassed his numbers from 2022 when he played 16 regular-season games. Johnson signed a one-year, $5.2 million contract with the Saints last July, and it's unclear if the team will re-sign him once again this coming offseason.

Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Four grabs in return from IR
Goedert caught four of six targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Giants.
Making his return from a four-game absence due to a knee injury, Goedert shook off any rust fairly quickly despite the fact that he was catching passes from Tanner McKee rather than Jalen Hurts (concussion). The Eagles are optimistic about Hurts' chances of suiting up next weekend in a wild-card clash against the Packers, but Goedert should have a significant role in the offense regardless of who is under center. Through 10 regular-season appearances in 2024, Goedert caught 42 of 52 targets for 496 yards and two TDs.
-
Trey McBride TE | ARI
Cardinals' Trey McBride: Catches another touchdown
McBride brought in seven of 11 targets for 65 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 47-24 win versus the 49ers.
After failing to reach the end zone via a pass in each of his first 14 appearances of the campaign, McBride capped the season with TD catches in back-to-back games. He also paced the Cardinals in receptions (111), targets (147) and receiving yards (1,146), all of which ranked second to rookie sensation Brock Bowers among tight ends in the entire NFL. At least at the conclusion of this season, McBride is the clear top pass catcher for Arizona, but 2024 first-round pick Marvin Harrison (62-885-8 on 116 targets as a rookie) may begin to make inroads on that mantle as soon as next fall. As a 2022 second-rounder, McBride is extension-eligible this offseason, so he may receive a long-term commitment from the team in the coming months.
-
Austin Hooper TE | ATL
Patriots' Austin Hooper: Four grabs in Sunday's start
Hooper caught four of six targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Bills.
Getting the start with Hunter Henry (foot) sidelined, Hooper finished the game tied with Antonio Gibson for second on the Patriots in receptions, as the duo functioned as security blankets for QB Joe Milton in his NFL debut. Hooper will be a free agent this offseason, but he shouldn't have much trouble getting a new deal after posting a 45-476-3 line on 59 targets over 17 games, his best production since 2019.

Tommy Tremble TE | CAR
Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Catches touchdown vs. Falcons
Tremble caught two of his three targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-38 overtime win over the Falcons.
The 24-year-old capped off his 2024 campaign on a high note Sunday, recording his third-highest receiving yardage total of the season and hauling in his second touchdown. However, Tremble was outpaced by rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders, who logged three catches for 35 yards on five targets, marking the second time Sanders has surpassed him since returning from a neck injury in the Week 14 loss to the Eagles. Tremble appeared in 12 games for the Panthers this season, catching 23 of his 32 targets for 234 yards and two touchdowns.
