Darren Waller TE | MIA
Giants' Darren Waller: Misses Wednesday's practice
Head coach Brian Daboll said that Waller (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Waller was forced out early in Sunday's 13-10 overtime loss to the Jets with a hamstring injury. The veteran tight end had been listed as questionable heading into that game with a hamstring issue that first surfaced in September, so his early departure may have been the result of a setback. Whatever the case, Waller now has just two chances to take the practice field ahead of the Giants' matchup against the Raiders on Sunday. Daniel Bellinger will be in line to start at tight end if Waller can't go this weekend.

Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Bills' Quintin Morris: Returns to limited practice
Morris (ankle) will be a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.
Morris has missed the past two games due to an ankle injury, so it's encouraging to see him back on the practice field to begin Week 9 prep, even in a limited capacity. With Dawson Knox (wrist) on injured reserve, Morris would operate as the No. 2 tight end behind rookie Dalton Kincaid if the Bowling Green product makes his return Sunday against the Bengals.

Eric Saubert TE | SEA
Texans' Eric Saubert: Joins Houston
The Texans signed Saubert from the Cowboys' practice squad to their active roster Tuesday.
The move corresponds with the Texans placing Teagan Quitoriano (groin) on injured reserve. Saubert joined the Cowboys' practice squad on Oct. 24, was elevated for Sunday's game against the Rams and played 14 snaps on special teams. He'll fill in as a depth tight end behind Dalton Schultz with Brevin Jordan (foot) expected to miss games.

Tre' McKitty TE | HOU
Tre' McKitty: Let go by Los Angeles
The Chargers waived McKitty on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
McKitty played 96 snaps -- 61 on offense and 35 on special teams -- across six games this season and did not record a stat. The 2021 third-round pick didn't get much of a chance to participate in the Chargers' offense behind Gerald Everett and Donald Parham. McKitty will be able to explore his next moves should he clear waivers.

Teagan Quitoriano TE | ARI
Texans' Teagan Quitoriano: Moved to IR
The Texans placed Quitoriano (groin) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Quitoriano, who sustained the injury in Sunday's 15-13 loss to the Panthers, will now have to sit out for at least the next four games and will be eligible to return against the Broncos on Dec. 3. In a corresponding move, the Texans signed tight end Eric Saubert off the Cowboys' practice squad.

Teagan Quitoriano TE | ARI
Texans' Teagan Quitoriano: Likely to land on IR
The Texans are expected to place Quitoriano on injured reserve after he suffered a groin injury in Sunday's 15-13 loss to the Panthers, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Quitoriano has split his snaps this season between special teams and on offense as a depth tight end behind Dalton Schultz. With Quitoriano expected to miss time to recover from his groin injury and Brevin Jordan (foot) also set to sit out with a plantar fasciitis issue, the Texans could look to add a tight end to their active roster prior to their Week 9 game against the Buccaneers.

Irv Smith TE | HOU
Bengals' Irv Smith: Loses fumble in win over Niners
Smith had four catches for 25 yards in Sunday's over the Niners, but he lost a fumble just before halftime that cost the Bengals a chance to go up two scores.
It was thought before the season that Smith could provide a reasonable facsimile of what Hayden Hurst did for the Bengals, but so far he's come up short of that. The four catches and the 25 yards were season highs for Smith.

Donald Parham Jr. TE | PIT
Chargers' Donald Parham: Scores red-zone TD again
Parham caught four of his five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the 30-13 win over the Bears on Sunday.
Parham's touchdown was his fourth red-zone score of the year and capped off what was a productive first-half for the Chargers against a clearly limited Bears team overall. Despite Gerald Everett (hip) being unavailable, Parham didn't deviate too much from his playing-time splits, as Stone Smartt (39 snaps) and Tre' McKitty (15 snaps) each saw plenty of time even though the running game (54 yards on 25 carries) failed to take off. Expect Parham to be a potential low-end fantasy start Week 9 if Everett is once again unavailable.

Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Could miss time
Jordan, who did not play in Sunday's 15-13 loss to the Panthers, is dealing with a plantar fasciitis issue in his foot and could miss additional time, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
It's unclear when Jordan picked up the foot injury, but it held him out of Friday's practice and ultimately ruled him out for Week 8. He could be a candidate to be placed on the team's IR if he's going to miss extended time.

Sam LaPorta TE | DET
Lions' Sam LaPorta: Team-high catch tally in win
LaPorta brought in eight of 10 targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' 26-14 win over the Raiders on Monday night.
LaPorta led the Lions in receptions and targets while checking in second to Amon-Ra St. Brown in receiving yards. The rookie tight end also hauled in his fourth touchdown on an 18-yard grab just before halftime, snapping a brief two-game drought in that department. LaPorta's involvement in the air attack has been solid right from the onset of his career, as he's now logged at least five targets in all but one contest. He'll have a Week 9 bye to further immerse himself in the playbook before a Week 10 matchup against the Chargers when he should once again be busy.
