Noah Fant TE | NO
Seahawks' Noah Fant: Tending to toe issue
Fant was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a toe injury, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Fant previously dealt with a knee issue during Week 4 prep, but his workload hasn't deviated too much from game to game, ranging from 41 to 65 percent of the offensive snaps. His output has been hit or miss, with three outings of more than 40 yards, three others with 25 or fewer yards and no touchdowns in any appearance. Now with a health concern in tow, Fant's availability is up in the air ahead of Sunday's contest against the Browns.

Hunter Long TE | JAC
Rams' Hunter Long: Back at practice
Long (hamstring) was designated to return from injured reserve and logged a full practice with the Rams on Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Long was placed on IR prior to the season with a hamstring injury, but he will now have 21 days to practice with the team and be activated. If he fails to return to the active roster prior to the end of the three-week window, he'll revert to IR for the rest of the 2023 campaign. The tight end was part of the Rams' trade with the Miami in September in which they shipped off cornerback Jalen Ramsey and he appeared in nine games with the Dolphins in 2022, failing to record a catch over 90 offensive snaps.

Hunter Henry TE | NE
Patriots' Hunter Henry: Limited practice Wednesday
Henry (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Henry missed practice last Wednesday and Thursday due to the same injury but returned to a limited session Friday and was listed as questionable ahead of the Patriots' Week 7 game against Buffalo. He ended up suiting up Sunday in the Patriots' 29-25 win over the Bills, playing half of the snaps on offense while catching two of his three targets for 27 yards. With no reported setbacks coming out of that game, Henry's listed limitations Wednesday could well be maintenance-related. Still, he'll likely need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid taking an injury designation into this weekend's game against the Dolphins.

Gerald Everett TE | CHI
Chargers' Gerald Everett: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Everett didn't practice Wednesday due to a hip injury.
Per James Palmer of NFL Network, Everett exited this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs with what was described as a quadricep issue. However, the tight end is evidently dealing with a different injury as this weekend's game against the Bears approaches. If Everett ends up sitting out Week 8, Donald Parham and Stone Smartt would be in line to see added snaps at tight end.

T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN
Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Sits out Wednesday's practice
Hockenson was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate due to a foot injury.
Hockenson hit the sideline for a spell during Monday's 22-17 win against the 49ers due to the foot injury, but after paying a visit to the medical tent, he was able to return to action. Overall, his snap share was a fairly standard 85 percent, and he also set season highs in catches (11), yards (86) and targets (12). The Vikings may just be taking it easy on Hockenson just two days removed from Monday's game, but his status will still need to be monitored closely ahead of Sunday's visit to Green Bay.

Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Nursing foot injury
Jordan (foot) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
It's not clear when Jordan picked up the injury or how serious it might be at this point. Either way, he'll probably need to get back to practicing in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.
-
Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Limited in return to practice
Johnson (calf) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Head coach Dennis Allen said Monday that he expected to have Johnson back in the lineup this Sunday against the Colts. The tight end has now taken a tangible step forward after missing four games and three weeks of practice, though his availability may remain in doubt if he can't progress to full participation by the end of the week. Taysom Hill (chest) took on the largest pass-catching role of his career the past two games but likely will see a drop in targets once Johnson is formally cleared to play.
-
Darren Waller TE | MIA
Giants' Darren Waller: Dealing with hamstring issue
Waller was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hamstring issue, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Waller previously was plagued by a hamstring injury Weeks 1 and 2, but he played through it and has yet to miss a game as a member of the Giants. Overall, he's put together a respectable 35-380-1 receiving line on 49 targets while working with two different quarterbacks in Daniel Jones (neck) and Tyrod Taylor. Still, Waller's status will be one to monitor as the week goes on to ensure he's on pace to suit up Sunday versus the Jets.

Kylen Granson TE | TEN
Colts' Kylen Granson: Not practicing
Granson (concussion) isn't practicing Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Granson didn't practice at all last week and ended up sitting out Sunday's 39-38 loss to the Browns. In his absence, Drew Ogletree picked up most of the snaps at tight end in passing situations but didn't draw any targets. If Granson misses another game this Sunday against New Orleans, more work would be left available for some combination of Ogletree, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory.

Josh Whyle TE | GB
Titans' Josh Whyle: Misses practice
Whyle (concussion) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Whyle suffered a concussion in Week 6 prior to the Titans' bye week, but it looks like he has yet to clear the league's protocol. More clarity on his status for Sunday's game against the Falcons will come as the week progresses.
