  • 49ers' George Kittle: Goes off for three TDs

Kittle finished with three receptions on four targets for 67 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 42-10 win over the Cowboys.

All Kittle could do was score, taking each of his three receptions to the house against a Dallas defense that got exposed on national television. The 30-year-old entered the contest with zero touchdowns through four games, so Sunday's scoring binge was a welcome one following his second consecutive slow start in fantasy. This also serves as a general reminder to stick with your top guys early in the schedule, especially with players as talented as Kittle. The star tight end will look to carry this momentum into next Sunday's tilt against Cleveland.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Finally gets involved

Okonkwo recorded five receptions on nine targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Colts.

Okonkwo entered Sunday's matchup having failed to command more than four targets in any contest. While he saw his opportunity tick up, he didn't deliver on his chances as he managed only 3.7 yards per target. Okonkwo was a potential breakout candidate in his second season as a pro, though he has yet to surpass 35 receiving yards through five games.

  • T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN

Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Five catches in Week 5 loss

Hockenson caught five of eight targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to Kansas City.

The tight end saw at least eight targets for the fourth time in five games, although he was able to turn the volume into only modest production this time out. With Justin Jefferson (hamstring) missing the end of Sunday's contest and potentially unavailable in Week 6, however, Hockenson could wind up being Kirk Cousins' most reliable option against a Chicago defense that's allowed the third-most catches in the league to tight ends through five weeks.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Monster game in win

Goedert had eight receptions on nine targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-14 win over the Rams.

Goedert finally broke out with a monster fantasy line following a pedestrian start to the year in which he averaged just 22 receiving yards with no touchdowns over his first four contests. The 28-year-old actually surpassed the combined fantasy production from his four-game slump in one go Sunday. While this was a step in the right direction, Goedert will have to generate consistent results in order to become a top fantasy tight end. He can help accomplish that with a strong follow-up performance against the Jets in Week 6.

  • Zach Ertz TE | WAS

Cardinals' Zach Ertz: Gets into end zone against Cincy

Ertz caught two of four targets for 10 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Bengals.

The yardage total was the lowest of Arizona's three tight ends -- Geoff Swaim caught two passes for 22 yards and Trey McBride caught two for 17 -- but Ertz was the only one of the trio to get into the end zone, snatching a four-yard TD pass from Joshua Dobbs in the second quarter. It's the veteran's first touchdown of the season, and while the split in targets among the position group isn't encouraging for the fantasy value of any of them, there could be opportunities for more than one Cardinals TE to make a splash in Week 6 against a Rams defense that just gave up an 8-117-1 line to the Eagles' Dallas Goedert.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Season-best 10 targets

Andrews recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 65 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Steelers.

The Ravens ran a pass-heavy gameplan against the Steelers, and Andrews benefitted with a season-best 10 targets. His performance still left something to be desired, as he wasn't particularly efficient with the opportunity and was held without a catch of more than 20 yards for the first time this season. Even so, Andrews has had a strong start to his campaign, recording either a touchdown or more than 50 receiving yards in three of his four contests.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Has low-ankle sprain

Kelce sustained a low right-ankle sprain during Sunday's 27-20 win at Minnesota, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The tight end finished the game having caught 10 of 11 targets for 67 yards and one touchdown.

After suffering a scary non-contact injury late in the first half, Kelce was checked out at halftime and wasn't allowed off the sideline until well into the third quarter, although not for lack of trying. He was finally able to rejoin his teammates with his right ankle heavily taped and didn't look worse for wear, snagging a four-yard touchdown grab at the 2:45 mark in the third for Kansas City's final points. With an injury in tow and a short week to prepare for Thursday's game against the Broncos, Kelce is a candidate to have practice limitations from Monday through Wednesday, but the fact that he seems to have avoided a high-ankle sprain or another more serious injury gives him a real chance at playing in Week 6.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Another touchdown in Week 5 loss

Schultz brought in seven of 10 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 21-19 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

Schultz led the Texans across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the afternoon with figures that ranked as his best of the season. The veteran tight end also found the end zone for the second straight contest when he recorded an 18-yard touchdown grab with 1:49 remaining that momentarily put Houston ahead. Schultz will look to extend his scoring streak to three games in a Week 6 home clash with the Saints.

  • Kyle Pitts TE | ATL

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Best game of season in win

Pitts brought in seven of 11 targets for 87 yards in the Falcons' 21-19 win over the Texans on Sunday.

Pitts was finally deployed in a manner befitting his talent, leading to team-high figures in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The third-year tight end's stat sheet was his best across the board this season as well, but his week-to-week production is likely to continue to fluctuate in head coach Arthur Smith's run-centric offense.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Returns to game

Kelce (ankle) has returned to Sunday's matchup with the Vikings, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.

Kelce exited Sunday's contest late in the first half after suffering a non-contact right ankle injury, but he is back in the game. The tight end has caught six passes for 36 yards to this point. More information on his injury will likely come following the game.
