London (groin) won't participate in Wednesday's practice, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

London exited Sunday's loss to the Titans with a groin injury, and despite being labeled as questionable to return to the game, he stayed on the sideline for the rest of the day. Head coach Arthur Smith was non-committal about London's chances of playing Week 9 versus the Vikings, and Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com relays that the second-year wideout is considered day-to-day. If London manages to gain clearance for Sunday's game against the Vikings, he will have to link up with Taylor Heinicke under center, as usual starter Desmond Ridder is expected to operate as the No. 2 quarterback.

Thornton has a chance to reclaim a role in the Patriots offense in the coming weeks after Kendrick Bourne (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.

Thornton was a healthy inactive Week 8, but with Bourne now on injured reserve and the status of DeVante Parker (concussion) in jeopardy for Sunday's game against the Commanders, the Patriots should at the very least keep Thornton active Week 9. However, with Demario Douglas, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Jalen Reagor projected to serve as the Patriots' top three receivers Sunday if Parker joins Bourne on the sideline, Thornton may only be in store for a small role as the team's No. 4 wideout. The 2022 second-round pick looks to be more of a speculative pickup in most fantasy leagues until he delivers noteworthy production.

The Patriots are expected to lean more heavily on Douglas in the passing attack in the coming weeks after Kendrick Bourne (knee) sustained a season-ending ACL tear in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, Chad Graff of The Athletic reports.

In Week 8, Douglas led the team's wide receivers in snaps (41) and caught a season-high five passes on seven targets for 25 yards. With Bourne on injured reserve and DeVante Parker in the NFL's concussion protocol, Douglas will likely be busy Sunday against the Commanders. If Parker is sidelined, JuJu Smith-Schuster and possibly Tyquan Thornton could also be in store for expanded roles in the team's thinned-out receiver ranks. The season-long absence of Bourne should enable Douglas to maintain steady volume moving forward, making him particularly interesting in PPR formats.

The Eagles signed Jones off their practice squad Wednesday.

Jones has looked solid in a depth role at wideout after being elevated from the practice squad for the past two games, hauling in two of three targets for 11 yards and a touchdown between those contests. He's now earned a promotion to the active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup with Dallas, but Jones is still expected to remain behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Olamide Zaccheaus in the pecking order at receiver.

Tucker failed to record a single target in Monday's 26-14 loss to the Lions.

After playing 48 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps in Week 7, Tucker's playing time took a major hit in Week 8 as he played just 13 percent of snaps Monday. The rookie wideout was not a part of the game plan, with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo failing to connect with the speedster on any of his six snaps. With limited usage on a struggling offense, Tucker should remain far off the fantasy radar when the Raiders host the Giants in Week 9.

Crowder secured all seven of his targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Eagles.

Crowder played 23 of the Commanders' 72 offensive snaps Sunday after playing nine offensive snaps through the first seven games of the season. The veteran wideout had his best game of the 2023 campaign by far, finding the end zone for the first time and recording season-highs in catches and yards. Despite the solid performance, Crowder remains difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production based on his minimal offensive usage to start the season. Nonetheless, the ninth-year receiver will look to earn more playing time when the Commanders visit the Patriots in Week 9.

Tillman will likely serve as the primary replacement for Donovan Peoples-Jones, whom the Browns traded to the Lions on Tuesday, Terry Pluto of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Tillman, a rookie third-round pick out of Tennessee, has been inactive the last three games and was a healthy scratch on two of those occasions. When he was active for the Browns' first four games of the season, Tillman averaged 11 snaps per contest and was targeted a total of three times. The Browns' decision to move Peoples-Jones doesn't come out of nowhere; he was in the final year of his contract and seemingly fell out of favor as a priority in Cleveland's passing game. The trade may not immediately mean much for Tillman as a fantasy asset, but he could be active going forward and may be an injury away from capturing a more significant role.

Goodwin moved up a spot on the depth chart after the Browns traded Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Lions on Tuesday, Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland reports.

The loss of Peoples-Jones doesn't open up many targets for others -- he had just 18 over seven games -- but he was on the field more than any other Cleveland wide receiver. Following the trade, the top three receivers in terms of snap count are Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and Goodwin. David Bell and Cedric Tillman fill out the position group. While Goodwin has just three catches (nine targets) thus far, he's expected to be on the field more than the 11 snaps per game he's averaged to this point in the season.

Turner reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Tuesday.

Turner played 14 snaps on special teams during Las Vegas' loss to the Lions on Monday and managed to record a tackle on a kick return. The 26-year-old will now await his next opportunity to be called up for action.

Olszewski re-signed with the Giants' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

No surprise here, as Olszewski was cut following his elevation to the active roster for Week 8 against the Jets. He ultimately saw 11 snaps on special teams (30 percent) and averaged 9.3 yards on six punt returns. The 26-year-old is likely to be elevated in Week 9 to once again play a punt-returning role.
