Treylon Burks WR | WAS
Titans' Treylon Burks: Full participant in practice return
Burks (knee) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Burks is thus set to rejoin the lineup after three missed games before the Titans went on bye Week 7. He won't have the best situation to put up numbers even if he faces no restrictions with his snap count, as Ryan Tannehill (ankle) appears set to miss at least Sunday's game. Head coach Mike Vrabel said Wednesday that both Will Levis and Malik Willis should take snaps at quarterback this Sunday against the Falcons, which could prompt the Titans to lean even more heavily than usual on the ground game.
-
Zay Jones WR | HOU
Jaguars' Zay Jones: Misses another practice
Jones (knee) didn't practice Wednesday.
Jones, who last suited up Week 5, still has two chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers, but the wideout's continued absence Wednesday indicates that his Week 8 status is cloudy. If Jones remains sidelined this weekend, fellow wideouts Jamal Agnew and Tim Jones would be in line to see added work behind behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk.
-
Laviska Shenault Jr. WR | BUF
Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Misses Wednesday's practice
Shenault (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Even with the benefit of a Week 7 bye, Shenault is still tending to the high ankle sprain he sustained in Week 6 at Miami. Unless he can get back to practice Thursday or Friday, it's not likely he'll play Sunday versus Houston.
-
DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Remains limited at practice
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Metcalf (ribs/hip) will practice in a limited capacity Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Prior to sitting out the first game of his career in this past Sunday's win over Arizona, Metcalf managed just one capped session Friday due to a rib injury that's lingered since Week 2 and a hip issue that he sustained Week 6. His ability to practice in some capacity to kick off Week 8 prep is a step in the right direction, but he likely will need to log all on-field reps Thursday and/or Friday to avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Browns. Another absence from Metcalf would result in elevated roles for Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo alongside Tyler Lockett.
-
Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Jets' Randall Cobb: Misses Wednesday's practice
Cobb missed Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder issue, but he's expected to return to the field Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Cobb presumably sustained the injury in the team's Week 6 victory over the Eagles prior to the Jets' Week 7 bye. If he does in fact return to practice Thursday, the veteran pass catcher should be in good shape to play Sunday against the Giants. Despite playing at least 35 percent of the Jets' snaps on offense in each of the team's first six games, Cobb has recorded just three receptions for 20 yards on 12 targets.
-
Tylan Wallace WR | CLE
Ravens' Tylan Wallace: Gets designation to return
Baltimore designated Wallace (hamstring) for return from its injured reserve list Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Wallace has sat out the requisite four games after originally being placed on the injured reserve list prior to Week 4, and he was able to return to practice Wednesday. The Ravens' injury reports over the week will shed more light on whether he'll be able to play Sunday at Arizona.
-
River Cracraft WR | WAS
Dolphins' River Cracraft: Set to practice Wednesday
Miami designated Cracraft (shoulder) for return from its injured reserve list Wednesday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
After spending the Dolphins' last four games on injured reserve, it now seems that Cracraft is nearing a return to action ahead of Week 8. Miami's injury reports this week will provide more information regarding his potential availability for Sunday versus New England.
-
Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Browns' Marquise Goodwin: Missing practice Wednesday
Goodwin didn't participate in practice Wednesday due to a back injury, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
In the Browns' Week 7 win over the Colts, Goodwin played a season-high 18 snaps but may have sustained the back injury somewhere along the way. He'll probably need to practice Thursday or Friday to have a chance to play Sunday at Seattle.
-
Treylon Burks WR | WAS
Titans' Treylon Burks: Practicing this week
Burks (knee) is taking part in practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Burks is back at practice after a Week 7 bye, potentially setting up a return to the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta. He hasn't played since Week 3, at which point Ryan Tannehill (ankle) was still healthy and under center. Head coach Mike Vrabel suggested both Will Levis and Malik Willis may get playing time at quarterback this week, with Levis shaping up as the probable starter.
-
Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Not seen at practice
Hill wasn't on the field during the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle, on the other hand, managed to participate, despite missing a chunk of Sunday's loss to Philadelphia with a back injury. Hill also went to the medical tent at one point but quickly returned and finished with 15 targets and his seventh touchdown of the season. The Dolphins will release their first Week 8 injury report later Wednesday, when an explanation behind Hill's absence from practice will be provided.
