Shakir caught all four targets for 35 yards in Buffalo's 29-25 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

This was the first time all season Shakir has caught more than one ball in a game, so there's still a long way to go for him to offer fantasy value. He saw action on 36 percent of the offensive plays compared to 27 percent for receiver teammate Deonte Harty and 23 percent for Trent Sherfield. Perhaps one of those players will see more involvement in the passing game now that tight end Dawson Knox is set to miss time with a wrist injury, though most of that overflow should head toward rookie TE Dalton Kincaid.

Humphrey reverted to the Broncos' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Humphrey has shuttled between the practice squad and active roster most of the season, as he's appeared in all seven games to this point, catching four passes for 26 yards and one touchdown on five targets as a deep reserve.

Jackson has been elevated from the practice squad for Monday's game against the 49ers.

Jackson has been called up to provide depth at wide receiver and potentially contribute on special teams. It marks his second straight game being elevated and third time on the active roster through seven games. Jackson has seen the field for five offensive snaps and eight on special teams overall in 2023.

Conley has been elevated to the 49ers' active roster ahead of Monday's matchup with the Vikings,

This marks the second elevation for Conley this season, as he saw nine offensive snaps (12 percent) in Week 3. His addition to the active roster is likely to boost depth at receiver with Deebo Samuel (shoulder) sidelined. Still, the veteran pass catcher is not expected to see much of the field, barring any more injuries ahead of him on the depth chart.

Eskridge has completed his six-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Eskridge was suspended for the first six games of the season back in August, but now that he has been reinstated, the wideout is eligible to return to action as soon as Sunday's game against the Browns. In 10 games last season, the 2021 second-rounder caught seven of his 13 targets for 58 yards and carried twice for 10 yards.

Godwin was listed as a non-participant on the Buccaneers' first Week 8 practice report due to a neck injury Monday.

Godwin's snap share (72 percent) during Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Falcons wasn't far off his typical range this season (74-86 percent), and he also received a campaign-high 12 targets, which he turned into six catches for 66 yards. In the wake of the contest, he's dealing with a health concern, but he still has two more chances this week to put himself in a position to play Thursday at Buffalo.

Atwell caught one of two targets for 31 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers.

The big touchdown catch by Atwell may or may not have been an errant pass directed to Cooper Kupp late in the first half, but the speedster happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to walk into the end zone untouched after snagging the pass at the 1-yard line in front of a double-covered Kupp. For the third straight game, Puka Nacua and Kupp dominated Matthew Stafford's attention with a total of 19 targets to the rest of the team's 10, and perhaps more tellingly, Atwell's usage dipped to a season-low 71 percent of snaps on offense. With Atwell now looking like he's reverted to his usage patterns of 2022, he'll be hard to trust in lineups with a stout Cowboys pass defense up next in Week 8.

McKenzie had one carry for seven yards but did not have a target in Sunday's loss to Cleveland. He also returned two kickoffs for a 19-yard average and four punts for a 9.5-yard average.

McKenzie left briefly after being checked for a concussion. He played a season-high nine snaps on offense, but that usage isn't enough for viable fantasy value in most leagues outside of those that include return yards.

Davis carried the ball three times for 14 yards and also caught one of his two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs.

The Chargers ran a number of plays specifically for Davis, somewhat ironic given the team has failed to get 2023 first-round pick, Quentin Johnston, more involved in the gameplan. Davis, a fourth-round pick from this past draft class, has plenty of speed, but it's hard to imagine his current role expanding tremendously unless injuries strike multiple players ahead of him.

Johnston caught his lone target for 20 yards in the 31-17 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

It's hard to label a first-round pick a bust just six games into his career, but at least from a fantasy perspective, there's just little optimism for Johnston at the moment. The rookie is the clear third option at wide receiver behind Keenan Allen (62 snaps) and Joshua Palmer (59 snaps), but it's the team's insistence to avoid three-wideout personnel that has hindered opportunities for Johnston to get more involved. If every there was a chance to break out, however, it could come Week 8 against a Bears defense that struggled most of the season.
