Gipson had two punt returns for 66 yards and a touchdown and two kickoff returns for 46 yards in Monday's 22-16 overtime win over the Bills.

Gipson won the game with a 65-yard punt return touchdown in overtime. He got free down the left sideline, then patiently waited for blockers to clear the way before working his way into the end zone to send the MetLife Stadium crowd into a frenzy. It was an unforgettable moment for the undrafted wide receiver out of Stephen F. Austin, who was making his NFL debut. Gipson doesn't have much of a role on offense, but he could be an asset in formats that reward return yardage.

Irwin played 10 offensive snaps in Week 1 against the Browns but didn't get targeted in the loss.

Irwin was still ahead of rookies Charlie Jones and Andrei Iosivas on the depth chart, as they only had one snap on offense between the two of them. Irwin's production will remain limited as long as Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are all healthy.

Hardman played zero snaps on offense and one on special teams in Monday's 22-16 overtime win over the Bills.

Hardman took the field for a kickoff return but otherwise didn't get a chance to play with quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the Jets' opening drive before he suffered a season-ending torn Achilles, nor backup Zach Wilson. Though Hardman's speed should earn him a role on offense eventually, his upside will be limited now that Wilson is taking over as the Jets' starting quarterback.

Brown was not targeted during Sunday's 20-16 win against the Cardinals.

The 2021 third-round selection was on the field for 19 of the team's 71 offensive snaps, playing behind Terry McLaurin (63), Jahan Dotson (62) and Curtis Samuel (46). He did play ahead of wideouts Byron Pringle and Jamison Crowder, as the two didn't see a single offensive snap. Sam Howell targeted only three wide receivers Sunday, and with Brown fourth in the pecking order, don't expect him to see a lot of work going forward.

Cobb didn't catch his only target in Monday's 22-16 overtime win over the Bills.

Cobb followed Aaron Rodgers from Green Bay to New York in the offseason, but the longtime teammates won't get a chance to play together in 2023, as Rodgers suffered a season-ending torn Achilles on the Jets' first drive. Cobb should continue to fill a depth role for New York's Zach Wilson-led offense in Week 2 against one of Cobb's other former teams, the Cowboys.

Boyd had just two catches for 10 yards on three targets in Sunday's loss to the Browns.

An ebbing tide strands all boats, just as the Bengals' profound offensive struggles in poor conditions stranded all of their fantasy components against the Browns. Boyd has a better chance of producing next week against a Ravens secondary that's already had multiple key injuries.

Wilson hauled in two of four targets for 19 yards during Sunday's 20-16 loss at Washington.

Starting quarterback Joshua Dobbs attempted 30 passes, but Wilson's four targets ranked fourth behind Zach Ertz (10), Marquise Brown (five) and James Conner (five) despite the fact he led all of the team's skill-position players in offensive snap share (90 percent). On a positive note, Wilson was on the receiving end of one of Dobbs' rare deep shots on a 15-yard reception. Considering the QB's limitations as a passer and Wilson's role as a boundary option, the rookie wide receiver doesn't hold much upside as long as Dobbs is under center. Wilson's next chance to make his mark arrives Sunday against the Giants.

Strachan was cut from the Colts' practice squad Tuesday.

The 26-year-old wideout out of Charleston bounced between the team's active roster and practice squad before his release. Strachan appeared in 19 games over the past two seasons for Indianapolis, recording 85 receiving yards on five grabs.

Carolina cut Patmon from the practice squad Tuesday, Augusta Stone of the Panthers' official site reports.

Patmon inked with the Panthers' practice squad early September, but he will now need to search for a similar reserve role elsewhere in the league. In his one appearance with the Colts last season, Patmon secured two of six targets for 24 yards.

Houston signed Wayne to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Wayne inks with the Texans' practice squad after a visit Monday. The rookie UDFA will continue to compete for a chance to make his NFL debut. He spent the offseason with Houston.
