The Giants are expected to re-sign Shepard (knee) on Wednesday, when the new league year begins, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Shepard is slated to return to the Giants on a one-year, $1.165 million deal heading into his eighth season in 2023, according to Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record. The 5-foot-10 wideout was selected by the Giants in the second round of the 2016 Draft and has been a steady producer since then, though he's dealt with numerous injuries over the last four seasons and appeared in just 32 games during that stretch. He tore his ACL in Week 3 of the 2022 campaign and remains in the rehab process, but the impending deal with the Giants suggests New York is happy with the progress the 30-year-old has made so far. However, his status for the start of the upcoming season remains unclear.

The Saints are not expected to tender Callaway, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Callaway has totaled 1,069 yards and seven touchdowns in three years with the Saints and was set for restricted free agency this summer, but the undrafted wideout will be free to sign anywhere he wants if his contract isn't tendered. Fowler added that a return to the Saints could still be in the cards if Callaway can't find a better deal elsewhere, but for now, the 6-foot-2 speedster appears on his way out of New Orleans.

Mooney (ankle) should now be the Bears' No. 2 receiver after the Bears acquired DJ Moore on Friday.

Mooney proved to be an excellent receiver when he posted 1,055 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 2021. But last year, the Bears' passing offense struggled to start the year. Then in Week 12, Mooney fractured his ankle, and he ended the year with 493 yards. Expected to be back on the field in some capacity this spring while he recovers from the injury, he should be a much better fit as a No. 2 receiver, with Moore now expected to slot in as the top option. Mooney has shown the ability to get open at all levels of the field. Even though it's unlikely he reaches the 140 targets he saw in 2021, the quality of targets could increase with defenses focusing on Moore. After 40 wide receivers are off the board, Mooney is a player to consider in fantasy drafts for those who believe Chicago will try to open up its passing attack.

Woods and the Texans have agreed to terms on a two-year, $15.25 million deal, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Woods was cut by the Titans in February in an effort for Tennessee to clear up salary cap space. The soon-to-be 31-year-old pass catcher played a full 17-game slate in 2022, accumulating 527 yards and two touchdowns on 53 receptions in the process. It remains to be seen what Houston plans on doing with fellow wide receiver Brandin Cooks, but Woods will presumably slot in as a top target for whomever is under center come Week 1.

The Rams waived Roberson on Friday.

Roberson signed a reserve/future deal with the Rams in January but has been let go ahead of the new league year, which starts March 15. He's spent the last two seasons bouncing between practice squads, but the undrafted wideout out of Wake Forest is still looking to make his NFL debut.

He rejoined the organization on practice-squad deal in late December, but he's still looking to make his NFL debut.

The Bears agreed Friday to acquire Moore and four draft picks from the Panthers in exchange for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Along with Moore, the Bears will receive the Nos. 9 and 61 overall picks in this year's draft, a 2024 first-round pick and a 2025 second-round selection. Moore, who caught 63 passes for 888 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games for the Panthers in 2022, should serve as Chicago's top wideout this coming season, while Carolina is now in position to take a quarterback first overall next month.

The Rams waived Koski (shoulder) without an injury designation Friday, per the team's transaction report.

Koski ended the 2022 campaign on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, but he appears to be healthy now. The undrafted wideout out of Cal Poly has bounced on and off the Rams' roster since entering the league in 2020, but he may have to look for an opportunity elsewhere in 2023.

The Chargers announced Friday that they will not tender Bandy, making him an unrestricted free agent, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.

Bandy took advantage of Los Angeles' depleted wideout corps in 2022 and made 10 appearances, catching 10 of 21 targets for 89 yards. The undrafted product of out San Diego has experience as a kick returner too and should be able to latch on with a new team ahead of training camp.

Dortch announced via his personal Twitter account that he's re-signed with the Cardinals.

Dortch is now set to remain in Arizona for this upcoming campaign following Friday's announcement. After a quiet first couple of years to begin his NFL career, the 24-year-old had a breakthrough season despite the combination of the team's inconsistent quarterback play and the Cardinals' depth at the wide receiver position. Dortch will aim to build off of the 52 catches, 467 yards and two scores that he registered during the 2022 campaign.
