Reynolds (back) was held out of practice Thursday.

One day removed from logging a limited session, Reynolds didn't mix into drills at all Thursday, placing a cloud over his status ahead of Sunday's game versus the Packers. Ultimately, his listing on Friday's practice report may provide some clarity regarding his availability, but if he's limited or out this weekend, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kalif Raymond and Tom Kennedy would be the primary wide receivers for quarterback Jared Goff.

Saints head coach Dennis Allen said Thursday that Thomas needs surgery to address a dislocated second toe on his right foot, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports. Allen said Thomas will be placed on injured reserve and is likely out for the season.

Allen noted that he doesn't have a precise timeline for Thomas' recovery from surgery, but the wideout isn't on pace to make it back this season after he unsuccessfully tried to rehab the toe injury, which he sustained Week 3. Thomas will have now played in just 10 games over the past three seasons, creating significant questions about his long-term outlook as he heads into his age-30 season in 2023. With Thomas out of the mix for the second half of the season, rookie Chris Olave is projected to serve as the Saints' No. 1 wideout the rest of the way, with Jarvis Landry (ankle), Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith offering depth behind him. Thomas is on the Saints' books through the next two seasons at cap hits of $28.26 million and $27.51 million for 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday that Bateman will undergo season-ending surgery to address a Lisfranc injury to his left foot, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.

With Bateman done for the season, Devin Duvernay now profiles as the Ravens' top wideout, with Demarcus Robinson, James Proche and Tylan Wallace in the mix for added snaps in the coming weeks. Bateman finishes his sophomore campaign with15 receptions for 285 yards and two touchdowns on 28 targets across six appearances.

Watson (concussion) returned to practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Considering Watson is four days removed from sustaining a concussion and didn't practice Wednesday, he seems destined to go down as a limited participant Thursday. Still, his ability to go through individual drills in pads generally is a positive sign as he makes his way through the protocol for head injuries. The Packers will reveal Watson's activity level later Thursday.

Reynolds (back) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Reynolds was listed as limited Wednesday, so a downgrade in participation Thursday makes his status for Sunday's game against the Packers worth monitoring. Friday's injury report should help clarify his chances of suiting up this weekend, but if Reynolds ends up out, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond would be in line to lead the Lions' Week 9 wideout corps.

Parker (knee) remained absent from practice Thursday, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.

Though the knee sprain Parker suffered Week 8 isn't believed to be serious, back-to-back missed practices cloud the wideout's status for Sunday's game against the Colts. If Parker is unable to suit up this weekend, Tyquan Thornton, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor would be candidates to see added opportunities alongside top WR Jakobi Meyers.

Dorsett may see expanded opportunities Thursday against the Eagles with Nico Collins (groin) ruled out and Brandin Cooks (wrist/personal) listed as questionable but not expected to play, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With Collins out this past Sunday against the Titans, Dorsett started and logged 45 of a possible 54 snaps on offense en route to catching one of his five targets for six yards. Now that Cooks is on track to sit out Thursday along with Collins, Dorsett and Chris Moore likely will lead the Texans' Week 9 wideout corps, with Tyron Johnson also in the mix as a third option at receiver. While no member of the trio profiles as a high-percentage fantasy lineup option, Dorsett should at least log plenty of snaps versus Philadelphia. He thus represents an option for those in deeper formats who need to replace Cooks or are in need of short-term wideout depth with six NFL teams on bye this week.

Moore, Phillip Dorsett and Tyron Johnson are expected to serve as the Texans' top three receivers Thursday against the Eagles with Nico Collins (groin) ruled out and Brandin Cooks (personal/wrist) listed as questionable but not expected to play, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Houston has three wide receivers on its practice squad that it could elevate in advance of Thursday's game to provide additional depth, but that group has only one career NFL reception among them and likely wouldn't be significant threats to poach playing time from the likes of Moore, Dorsett and Johnson. Moore and Dorsett were already thrust into elevated roles in the Week 8 loss to the Titans while Collins was sidelined, but Moore failed to draw a target while playing 65 percent of the snaps on offense. Moore, who owns a 10-128-1 receiving line on 16 targets over his six games this season, should have a better chance of being a factor this week with Cooks joining Collins on the sideline, but Moore won't be a safe bet to turn in a fantasy-friendly stat line.

Dotson (hamstring) isn't taking part in Thursday's practice, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Dotson hasn't practiced in any capacity since he reportedly aggravated his hamstring injury during a limited showing in the Commanders' Oct. 20 session. He missed two games prior to the aggravation and now looks to be trending toward a fifth consecutive absence this Sunday, when the team hosts the Vikings. The Commanders will wait and see what, if anything, Dotson is able to do at Friday's practice before giving him a designation for the Week 9 game.

Cooks (wrist/personal) remains listed as questionable but is not in line to play Thursday against the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

While Cooks is tending to a wrist issue that landed him on the injury report last week, it's the wideout's reported frustration about not being dealt ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline that's believed to be the reason for his expected absence Thursday, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. With Cooks on track to sit Thursday and Nico Collins (groin) already having been ruled out, Phillip Dorsett, Chris Moore and Tyron Johnson are set to lead Houston's wideout corps Week 9. Official confirmation of Cooks' status is set to arrive when the team releases its inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.
