  • Devin Duvernay WR | ARI

Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Significant all-purpose role in win

Duvernay secured all four targets for 31 yards, rushed twice for 33 yards and a touchdown, returned three kickoffs for 72 yards and ran back three punts for 27 yards in the Ravens' 27-22 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night.

Duvernay's extremely busy stat line underscores his importance to the victory. The speedster's 15-yard rushing touchdown midway through the fourth quarter was critical in giving the Ravens some breathing room after the Buccaneers had closed to within 17-13, and it was his first trip to the end zone since Week 3. Duvernay's upside as a receiver is decidedly capped by his team's run-heavy approach, but if he continues to get more opportunities on the ground, it could certainly serve to supplement his overall fantasy production nicely. Duvernay's first opportunity to build on his best all-around performance of the season comes in a Week 9 road matchup against the Saints on Monday night, Nov. 7.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Another busy game Thursday

Godwin secured six of 11 targets for 75 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-22 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.

Godwin shared the lead in receptions and targets with Mike Evans, and he also had the second-longest catch of the night on a 44-yard grab that was just behind his teammate's 51-yard catch. The wideout has no fewer than six catches in five consecutive games, giving him a solid fantasy floor heading into a Week 9 road matchup versus the Rams a week from Sunday.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Aggravates foot injury

Bateman aggravated his foot injury in Thursday's 27-22 win over the Buccaneers, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Bateman was questionable leading up to the Ravens' Week 8 matchup with a foot injury that has nagged him for the past three weeks. He managed to suit up but was minimally involved before being formally ruled out midway through the third quarter. It's unclear if Bateman may be forced to miss additional time, though he'll have nine days until Baltimore's Week 9 matchup against the Saints.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Eclipses century mark in loss

Evans secured six of 11 targets for 123 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-22 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.

Evans co-led the Buccaneers in receptions and targets while comfortably setting the pace in receiving yardage during the narrow loss. His game-long 51-yard catch early in the fourth quarter also helped set up a Ryan Succop field goal, and the 100-yard effort was the multi-time Pro Bowler's second of the season overall. Evans also has 26 targets over the last two games alone, so he'll retain plenty of fantasy appeal despite a tough matchup against Jalen Ramsey and the Rams defense in a Week 9 showdown a week from Sunday.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Out after playing minimally

Bateman was ruled out of Thursday's game against the Buccaneers with a foot injury.

Bateman was questionable heading into Thursday's game after practicing fully Wednesday. However, he was on the field minimally throughout the first half and was targeted only once prior to being ruled out midway through the third quarter. The Ravens are also without Mark Andrews (shoulder), which has left Demarcus Robinson, Isaiah Likely, Devin Duvernay and James Proche as the team's primary pass catchers.

  • Brandon Powell WR | MIN

Rams' Brandon Powell: Pops up on injury report Thursday

Powell (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Gilbert Manzano of The Orange County Register reports.

Powell popped up on Thursday's injury report with an apparent ankle injury, leaving his availability for Sunday's contest against the 49ers in question. If the 27-year-old is unable to gain medical clearance before the weekend, then Tutu Atwell could see more reps at WR behind Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson and Ben Skowronek, while Kupp would also likely handle punt returns for the time being.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Still not practicing

Jennings (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.

Jennings was listed the same way Wednesday, but he at least was seen running on a side field in a helmet and uniform Thursday, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. The 49ers' No. 1 wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) also hasn't practiced this week, so the team's situation at the position bears watching to see if either player may suit up Sunday at the Rams.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | SF

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Sits out again Thursday

Samuel (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.

Samuel has yet to mix into drills during Week 8 prep, which also can be said for fellow wide receiver Jauan Jennings (hamstring). There's been no word from coach Kyle Shanahan or the 49ers regarding Samuel's potential to play (or not) Sunday at the Rams, but Friday's practice report may give some insight into the breakdown of San Francisco's receiving corps this weekend. Currently, Brandon Aiyuk, Ray-Ray McCloud and Danny Gray are the healthy options at the position on the active roster.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: No practice yet this week

Metcalf (knee) didn't practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Metcalf emerged from a Week 7 win at the Chargers with a patellar tendon injury, and while he was pushing to practice as early as Wednesday, he has yet to mix into drills through two sessions this week. With each passing day and no activity on the field, he's trending toward sitting out Sunday versus the Giants, which may be confirmed as early as the release of Friday's practice report. In the event Metcalf is limited or out this weekend, Tyler Lockett will be the clear-cut top option in the Seahawks' passing attack, with Marquise Goodwin also in line for more snaps and targets.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Gets back to full participation

Lockett (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Despite missing practice all of last week and being questionable this past Sunday at the Chargers, Lockett was able to suit up, log 67 percent of the offensive snaps and reel in seven of eight targets for 45 yards. The snap share was a season low after earning between 78 and 96 percent for the first six games of the campaign. On Thursday, Lockett told Brady Henderson of ESPN.com that his hamstring "feels alright." When combined with the fact DK Metcalf's status for Sunday's contest against the Giants is unknown, Lockett may have no choice but to return to his normal workload this weekend.
