Ihmir Smith-Marsette WR | ARI
Ihmir Smith-Marsette: Let go Tuesday
Smith-Marsette was waived by the Bears on Tuesday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports.
Smith-Marsette has played in every game this season, but he's failed to make an impact in the Bears' passing game, bringing in one catch on four targets for 15 yards. In a corresponding move, the Bears signed fellow receiver Isaiah Coulter to the active roster from their practice squad.

Steven Sims WR | ARI
Steelers' Steven Sims: Nursing hamstring injury
Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Sims is dealing with a hamstring injury, Missi Matthews of the Steelers' official site reports.
Sims has mostly contributed on special teams while appearing in Pittsburgh's past two contests, and he hasn't yet earned a target this season. If healthy, he projects to handle a similar role Sunday at Miami.

Demarcus Robinson WR | SF
Ravens' Demarcus Robinson: Posts season highs in Week 6
Robinson had three catches for 27 yards on five targets Sunday against the Giants.
The veteran played a season-high 78 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday and posted season highs in the box score as well. Robinson's playing time has ticked up in recent weeks due to Rashod Bateman's absence. Prior to Bateman's injury, Robinson was playing just over 40 percent of Baltimore's offensive snaps, so a role decrease could be in the offing if Bateman returns Week 7 against the Bengals.
-
Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Packers' Randall Cobb: Expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks
Cobb was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain after exiting Sunday's loss to the Jets and is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Though Cobb will end up missing time due to the ankle issue, the veteran wideout at least avoided a longer-term setback after he was carted off the field Sunday. Operating without Cobb for the foreseeable future could prove significant for Green Bay's struggling offense, which has Sammy Watkins (hamstring) on injured reserve and Christian Watson (hamstring) also working to get healthy. Juwann Winfree and Amari Rodgers become candidates for increased snaps behind Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs.

Willie Snead WR | MIA
Willie Snead: Moves back to practice squad
Snead reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Snead bounced back and forth between San Francisco's active roster and practice squad over the first four weeks, and he saw his first playing time of the season Sunday after being activated on game day. The 29-year-old wideout was not targeted while playing five of his 11 snaps on offense against the Falcons in Week 6.
-
Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Steps up in win
Palmer recorded nine receptions on 12 targets for 57 yards in Monday's 19-16 win over the Broncos.
Palmer finished second on the team in targets and receptions, also posting his best marks of the season in those areas. He worked primarily in the short areas of the field -- his longest reception went for 14 yards -- as Justin Herbert was unable to push the ball down the field effectively. Palmer's role will likely dwindle once Keenan Allen (hamstring) is able to return.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Racks up 54 yards
Jeudy recorded three receptions on seven targets for 54 yards in Monday's 19-16 loss to the Chargers.
The Broncos' offense failed to get going once again, so Jeudy led the team in targets, yards and receptions despite his modest numbers. He did the majority of his damage on a 37-yard reception on Denver's second possession to help set up its lone touchdown of the game. The state of the team's offense will lead to inconsistent results for Jeudy, though he has topped 50 receiving yards with at least one catch of 20 yards in each of his last three games.
-
Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Lacks opportunity in loss
Sutton recorded two receptions on three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 19-16 loss to the Chargers.
Sutton entered the contest having seen a minimum of seven targets in every game this season, but he didn't come close in Monday's loss. Unsurprisingly, he also posted season-low marks in receptions and yards in a generally poor performance. While it's likely a safe bet that Sutton will bounce back in Week 7 against the Jets, the current state of Denver's offense makes it difficult to rely upon any player to consistently produce.
-
DeAndre Carter WR | CLE
Chargers' DeAndre Carter: Season high in targets
Carter caught three of five targets for 17 yards in Monday's 19-16 win over the Broncos.
Both Carter and tight end Gerald Everett acted as Justin Herbert's security blankets on a night when the Broncos pass rush was consistently in the quarterback's face. Carter had lost playing time in prior weeks though, and Monday's outing doesn't necessarily represent a change in fortune. Keenan Allen (hamstring) hinted he could make his return next week, which would all but end Carter's offensive snaps.
-
Mike Williams WR | LAC
Chargers' Mike Williams: Shut down by Denver
Williams caught just two of his six targets for 17 yards in the 19-16 win Monday over the Broncos.
Credit goes to second-year cornerback Patrick Surtain, as the Chargers essentially gave up attempting to target Williams after a first quarter dominated by the young secondary player. The big-bodied target nearly came down with a spectacular toe-tapping catch late in the fourth quarter, but the would-be reception was about the only opportunity Williams had to make any impact Monday. Expect a better outing next week with a possible return of Keenan Allen (hamstring) on the horizon.
