Smith didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Rams.

Smith posted a goose egg while seeing the Panthers lose their fourth quarterback of the season to injury, as P.J. Walker exited with a neck issue. While it remains unclear who will be under center for Week 7's matchup versus the Buccaneers, leaving a considerable question mark over an already underwhelming passing game, Monday's trade of fellow wideout Robbie Anderson could increase Smith's amount of opportunities going forward.

Watkins pulled in his lone target in Sunday's win against the Cowboys, gaining zero yards.

Watkins continues to see the field frequently, with his 42 offensive snaps marking the fifth time he's seen the field at least 40 times through the first six weeks. That playing time isn't being converted into production, however, as he had nearly as minimal an impact as possible on Sunday's box score. He continues to average one catch per game on the year.

Allen (hamstring) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Broncos.

Allen thus will set his sights on a possible return to action Week 7 versus the Seahawks. In his continued absence, Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter once again are in line to see added wideout opportunities alongside Mike Williams, who led the team with 10 catches and 13 targets in the Chargers' Week 5 win over the Browns.

Jefferson (knee) is expected back after the Rams' upcoming bye week, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

With that, Jefferson, who underwent a knee procedure during training camp, is a candidate to suit up for his first game of the season on Sunday, Oct. 30, when the Rams face the 49ers. At that time, coach Sean McVay indicated that he expects Jefferson to be able to contribute right away, a context that makes the wideout a worthy add (by those who have the roster flexibility to do so) in leagues where he's still available.

Osborn had three receptions for 18 yards in Sunday's win at Miami.

Osborn played on a season-low 58 percent of the offense's snaps but still had five targets. Minnesota generated just 175 yards passing as the offense sputtered early. Unfortunately, the focus on top targets Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen rarely leaves much for the third receiver in the Vikings offense.

Strachan didn't have a reception on two targets in Sunday's win over Jacksonville.

Strachan played 19 snaps on offense and went out for 13 routes, but he wasn't much of a factor. He's getting some playing time as the fourth receiver with Ashton Dulin on injured reserve with a foot injury, but it doesn't look like Strachan will be a big part of the game plan.

Kirkwood (ankle) was a non-participant on the Saints' estimated practice report Monday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Kirkwood was signed to the Saints' active roster ahead of Sunday's loss to the Saints, where he played 70 percent of the snaps on offense and made a 14-yard catch on his only target. With Jarvis Landry (ankle) and Michael Thomas (foot) also DNP's, the Saints could be light again at receiver Thursday against the Cardinals.

Thomas (foot) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

This doesn't come as a surprise after Jeff Duncan of The Athletic reported earlier Monday that the Saints don't expect Thomas to be ready for Thursday's contest against the Cardinals. Jarvis Landry (ankle) also was labeled a DNP, while Chris Olave (concussion) wasn't listed at all. As of Monday, it appears like the rookie first-round pick will assume the No. 1 wideout role Week 7, but reports Tuesday and Wednesday should provide a clearer picture on how New Orleans' wideout corps will look Thursday.

The Colts signed Smith to the practice squad Monday.

Smith was let go from the Broncos' practice squad Tuesday after joining with the team in early September. The 26-year-old wideout has yet to play this season, and he has not caught a pass since the 2020 campaign. Smith will serve as a potential game-day elevation with wideouts Ashton Dulin (foot) and Keke Coutee (concussion) both likely to miss time due to injury.

Olave (concussion) wasn't listed on Monday's estimated injury report, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Olave has cleared the concussion protocol and should be good to go for Week 7. Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) continue to deal with lingering injuries, so Olave currently is in line to be the Saints' No. 1 wideout against the Cardinals on Thursday. Across five appearances, the rookie first-round pick has caught 25 of 42 targets for 389 yards and two scores.
