Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Returns to practice Thursday
Kupp (foot) was spotted at the portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Kupp didn't suit up for Wednesday's session due to a foot injury, but the DNP followed coach Sean McVay saying the Rams would "be smart" with certain key contributors and their health concerns this week. Thursday's practice report will reveal how many reps Kupp was able to handle.
-
Danny Gray WR | PHI
49ers' Danny Gray: Clear for Week 6
Gray (illness) practiced fully Thursday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Gray's reps were capped at Wednesday's session, so his return to all activity Thursday paves the way for him to be available Sunday in Atlanta. The rookie third-rounder has found little headway in his three appearances to date, failing to haul in any of his four targets while accumulating 20 offensive snaps.
-
Jaelon Darden WR | SEA
Buccaneers' Jaelon Darden: Back in full Thursday
Darden (tooth) practiced fully Thursday.
Darden missed Wednesday's practice due to a tooth issue, but his return as a full participant in Thursday's session suggests he'll likely be available for Sunday's game against the Steelers. The second-year receiver has just one catch for 25 yards through the Buccaneers first five contests, and he'll likely see very limited snaps on offense once again this weekend in Pittsburgh.
-
Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Another DNP on Thursday
Watson (hamstring) was a non-participant at practice Thursday.
Watson sustained a right hamstring injury this past Sunday against the Giants in London and has yet to get back on the practice field. The Packers have one more session on the docket this week before they likely hand the rookie second-round pick a designation for Sunday's contest versus the Jets.
-
Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC
Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Logs limited practice
Meyers (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Meyers -- who also was limited Wednesday -- had his practice reps managed last week as well, but he was able to put together a 7-111-1 receiving line on eight targets in this past Sunday's 29-0 win over the Lions. With no reported setbacks since then, we suspect that he'll be a go this weekend against the Browns, but Friday's injury report will clarify whether he approaches the contest with an injury designation or fully cleared to play Week 6.
-
Deonte Harty WR | BAL
Saints' Deonte Harty: Still not practicing
Harty (foot) was a non-participant at practice Thursday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Harty's inability to practice so far this week does not bode well for his status come Sunday against the Bengals. Considering the initial report of his turf toe injury by Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football relayed he was expected to miss time and that there was fear of significant injury, a Harty absence in Week 6 wouldn't come as a surprise.
-
Mike Williams WR | LAC
Chargers' Mike Williams: Avoids injury report
Williams (illness) isn't listed on the Chargers' initial Week 6 injury report released Thursday.
Due to an unspecified illness, Williams wasn't on the field Wednesday for the Chargers' unofficial practice session, but his absence from the Week 6 injury report implies that he was back on the field Thursday as a full participant. Though Williams is on track to play Monday against the Broncos, the status of fellow starting wideout Keenan Allen (hamstring) for the team's divisional matchup is less certain. Allen hasn't played since Week 1, but after failing to practice in any capacity in each of the Chargers' last four official sessions, he returned to the field Thursday as a limited participant.
-
Keenan Allen WR | IND
Chargers' Keenan Allen: Begins week as limited participant
Allen (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
The Chargers listed Allen as a non-participant in each of their previous four practices, so his limited activity to begin Week 6 would seem to be a promising sign. Even so, Allen may need to upgrade to full activity Friday or Saturday for the Chargers to feel comfortable signing off on him playing Monday against the Broncos after he missed each of the previous four games with the hamstring injury.
-
Russell Gage WR | SF
Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Limited in return to practice
Gage (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice.
Gage was bothered by a hamstring injury all season before he made an appearance on the Bucs' injury report last Saturday due to a back issue. He was able to play Week 5 against the Falcons en route to a typical 73-percent snap share and two catches (on six targets) for 20 yards. Now, Gage is tending to an ankle issue, but he at least was able to mix into drills Thursday, which he didn't do Wednesday. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Gage heads into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Pittsburgh.
-
Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Remains sidelined at practice
Thomas (foot) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.
Thomas continues to focus on rehab of the foot injury that forced him to sit out Weeks 4 and 5. While he has one more chance to make his presence felt in practice this week, the Saints could make a ruling on his availability for Sunday's game versus the Bengals after Friday's session. Jarvis Landry (ankle) also didn't practice Thursday, but rookie Chris Olave (concussion) returned in a limited capacity, so one of the team's top three wide receivers seems to be making a bid to play this weekend.
