Jalen Reagor WR | MIA
Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Still with Eagles for now
Reagor has a spot on the Eagles' initial 53-man roster, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The 2020 first-round pick has been a subject of trade rumors for a while now, but he might still have some value to the Eagles as a depth receiver and return specialist. If he does stay with the team, Reagor likely will land behind at least A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins on the WR depth chart.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey WR | DEN
Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Let go by Patriots
The Patriots are slated to waive Humphrey, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
The same applies to fellow depth wideout Tre Nixon, with the report noting that both players are candidates to resurface on the Patriots' practice squad.
-
Tre Nixon WR | NE
Tre Nixon: Waived by Pats
New England waived Nixon on Tuesday, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Nixon is a 2021 seventh-round pick, so he seems a likely candidate to rejoin the Patriots via the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers. He spent his entire rookie campaign on the practice squad without making an appearance on the active roster.
-
Kirk Merritt WR | NO
Kirk Merritt: Waived by New Orleans
The Saints waived Merritt on Tuesday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
Merritt spent the majority of the 2021 campaign on the Dolphins' practice squad but joined the Saints in January via a futures deal. New Orleans had Merritt operating as both a running back and wideout during training camp, but aside from a touchdown grab in Week 2, he failed to make a major impact. Merritt now finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline.

Michael Woods II WR | DEN
Browns' Michael Woods: Makes team
Woods (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday, Mark Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
It was quite a day for the rookie sixth-round pick out of Oklahoma, who returned to the field for the first time since Aug. 5 and also successfully made the Browns' 53-man roster. While Woods will likely play a limited role out of the gate, there could be opportunities for him to climb the wide receiver depth chart as the season unfolds given Cleveland's lack of established talent at the position behind offseason acquisition Amari Cooper.
-
Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Still sidelined by hamstring injury
Thomas (hamstring) wasn't spotted at Tuesday's practice, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Thomas has missed almost two weeks as a result of this hamstring injury. It's too early to tell whether his availability for the Saints' Sept. 11 regular-season opener will be impacted by the injury, as the veteran wide receiver still has nearly two weeks to heal up before the Saints travel to Atlanta.
-
Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA
Rashid Shaheed: Waived by Saints
Shaheed was waived by the Saints on Tuesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The wide receiver failed to appear in any of the Saints' preseason games before being let go Tuesday. There's a good chance that Shaheed clears waivers and signs with the Saints' practice squad.
-
Malik Turner WR | SF
Malik Turner: Loses out on spot with Niners
Turner was released by the 49ers on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Turner signed with the 49ers in April but didn't do enough this summer and preseason to secure a final roster spot. The wide receiver played in 14 games with the Cowboys last season, producing 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 12 catches. Turner will likely sign with a new team ahead of the 2022 campaign instead of returning to the 49ers' practice squad.
-
Nsimba Webster WR | CHI
Nsimba Webster: Waived by Chicago
The Bears waived Webster on Tuesday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Webster spent most of the 2021 season on the Bears' practice squad and will likely garner a similar role if he clears waivers. The undrafted return man from Eastern Washington has appeared in 27 career regular season games but has played 360 snaps on special teams compared to just nine on offense.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Expected to be ready Week 1
Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that he's optimistic Johnson (shoulder) will be available Week 1 against the Bengals, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Johnson injured his shoulder while catching a deep ball in double coverage during the Steelers' final preseason game Sunday evening. He didn't return to the contest and now figures to miss some practice time, but Tomlin is backing the initial sentiment that both Johnson and T.J. Watt, who came away from that game with a knee issue, avoided serious injuries.
