  • Isaiah Hodgins WR | NYG

Bills' Isaiah Hodgins: Returns to action

Hodgins (undisclosed) was participating at minicamp Wednesday, Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com reports.

Hodgins was held out of practice last week due to the unspecified injury, but it apparently wasn't a serious issue. The 23-year-old spent most of the 2021 campaign on the practice squad and appeared in one game for Buffalo.

  • Patriots' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Joins New England via one-year deal

The Patriots signed Humphrey to a one-year contract Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

There were reports that the wideout would be returning to the Saints, but the undrafted product out of Texas opted to sign with New England instead. In the absence of Michael Thomas (ankle), the 24-year-old complied a career-high 249 receiving yards across 10 games last season, but he faces a crowded wide receiver room with his new squad.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Coach says no trade happening

Commands head coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday that McLaurin isn't a trade candidate heading into the season, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

McLaurin is skipping mandatory minicamp while he and the Commanders continue to discuss a new extension. Per Ben Standig of The Athletic, Rivera also confirmed that McLaurin will be fined for missing mandatory team activities, but that ongoing negotiations are "not contentious." Of course, it's not uncommon in the NFL for team officials to commit to retaining a player only for a trade to later occur, as happened with A.J. Brown and Titans coach Mike Vrabel earlier this offseason. As a result of being dealt to the Eagles, Brown was able to secure a four-year, $100 million contract, and McLaurin may be vying for a similar payday as he enters the final season of his rookie contract.

  • Khalil Shakir WR | BUF

Bills' Khalil Shakir: Back at practice

Shakir (undisclosed) participated in minicamp Tuesday after being sidelined for OTAs, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Shakir's move to being a full participant is a good sign for the rookie wideout, who will likely be competing with newly added Tavon Austin and holdover Isaiah McKenzie for snaps next season.

  • Jalen Tolbert WR | MIA

Cowboys' Jalen Tolbert: Back at practice Tuesday

Tolbert (hamstring) got significant reps during Tuesday's mandatory minicamp, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

The rookie wideout had been nursing a hamstring injury during OTAs, but he appears to have moved past the issue and looks poised to carve out a role in Dallas. With Michael Gallup (knee) potentially unavailable for Week 1, Tolbert will compete with fellow newcomer James Washington (foot) for snaps and targets behind No. 1 wideout CeeDee Lamb.

  • Bengals' Trenton Irwin: Participating on rehab field

Irwin (undisclosed) is working out on the rehab field Tuesday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Irwin re-upped with the Bengals in March and no recent injuries have been reported, so the reason for him not being a full practice participant is unclear. He appeared in seven games for the Bengals last season, recording two catches for 24 yards.

  • Falcons' Austin Trammell: Limited at camp

Trammell was limited at minicamp Tuesday due to an undisclosed injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Trammell re-upped with the Falcons on a reserve/future deal in January after appearing in two games for the club last season. He'll work to get back to full-go status, as right now he is on the outside looking in when it comes to making the team.

  • Saints' Michael Thomas: Not participating in minicamp

Thomas (ankle) didn't participate during Tuesday's mandatory minicamp practice, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

The wideout spent half of practice rehabbing in the training facility and the other half watching from the sideline while wearing his uniform. Thomas hasn't practiced or played since 2020, so he wasn't expected to participate in minicamp. However, it's still encouraging to see the two-time NFL receptions leader engaged in team activities at this point in the offseason. The Saints have yet to comment on expectations for Thomas' availability during training camp, but they hope to have him back at some point during the 2022 campaign.

  • Treylon Burks WR | WAS

Titans' Treylon Burks: Unavailable for minicamp

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Burks was "unavailable" for Tuesday's mandatory minicamp, Michael Giardi of NFL Network reports.

Per John Glennon of SI.com, Burks was spotted on a stationary bike, but the rookie wideout didn't participate in practice. The first-round pick's pro tenure is off to a bumpy start as he was limited during offseason workouts due to breathing and conditioning concerns, but Burks returned to full practices by the end of OTAs, and the reason he wasn't involved Tuesday hasn't been clarified. Regardless, if Burks can stay on the field, he has immense talent and could be a major factor in Tennessee's offense, especially after the team moved on from Julio Jones and A.J. Brown.

  • Broncos' Tyrie Cleveland: MRI comes back clean

Cleveland sustained an ankle injury during Monday's minicamp practices after tests confirmed there was no damage to his Achilles or knee, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Cleveland had to be carted off after going down on the final play of Denver's practice Monday, leaving some worry that the wideout may have a severe injury. Early tests seem to indicate that the issue was much less serious, however, as the 2021 seventh-round pick took to his personal Twitter account to update fans with the positive news of his clear MRI results.
