  • Dante Pettis WR | SF

Bears' Dante Pettis: Signs with Chicago

Pettis (shoulder) agreed to a contract with the Bears on Wednesday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

The 26-year-old appeared in three games for the Giants last year and caught 10 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown before undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery in November. A 2018 second-round pick by San Francisco, Pettis has failed to find much success since totaling 467 receiving yards and five scores during his rookie campaign.

  • Keelan Cole WR | LV

Raiders' Keelan Cole: Joining Las Vegas

Cole agreed to a one-year contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The 29-year-old was with the Jets on a one-year deal in 2021 and caught 34 of 51 targets for 449 yards and one touchdown in 15 games. He'll battle Bryan Edwards and Demarcus Robinson for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart behind Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow.

  • Gary Jennings WR | LAC

Chiefs' Gary Jennings: Back with Kansas City

Kansas City re-signed Jennings on Tuesday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.

Jennings joined Kansas City on a reserve/future contract in January but was let go to make room for potential undrafted free agents. However, the 29-year-old has rejoined the team following the conclusion of rookie minicamp. He's appeared in 10 regular-season games in the NFL and has hauled in two of five targets for 32 yards.

  • Dolphins' Lynn Bowden: Facing competition for roster spot

Bowden (hamstring) will face competition from rookie fourth-round pick Erik Ezukanma this offseason, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Bowden, who spent the entire 2021 season sidelined due to a hamstring injury, very realistically could be on the roster bubble for Miami's new coaching staff. The 24-year-old flashed some competence as a rookie in 2020, when he racked up 28 catches for 211 yards on 37 targets through 10 appearances, but he now faces competition for even a depth gig from all of Ezukanma, Preston Williams and Trent Sherfield.

  • Skyy Moore WR | GB

Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Picks up hamstring injury

Moore could be limited during the Chiefs' rookie OTAs due to a hamstring injury, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.

The 2022 second-round pick didn't have any major injuries pre-draft, so this hardly appears to be problematic. The Western Michigan product is expected to compete with Mecole Hardman and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the No. 2 role opposite JuJu Smith-Schuster.

  • Titans' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Prepared for bigger role

Westbrook-Ikhine believes he is prepared to step into a bigger role in the Titans' offense, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The Titans' receiving corps was overhauled this offseason, as both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are no longer on the roster. While the team acquired Robert Woods (knee) and drafted Treylon Burks, Westbrook-Ikhine should be in a position to improve upon the 38 receptions he posted in 2021. He should begin the season on the field regularly in three-receiver sets and could be in line to share snaps out of the slot with Woods.

  • Quintez Cephus WR | HOU

Lions' Quintez Cephus: Facing added competition

Cephus is facing added competition for snaps after the offseason acquisitions of DJ Chark and Jameson Williams (knee), Nick Baumgardner and Chris Burke of The Athletic report.

After Tyrell Williams went down in Week 1 and before Cephus broke his collarbone in Week 5, the Wisconsin product had a large role that commanded at least 70 percent of the offensive snaps per game. However, the 6-foot-4 Chark seemingly fits the mold that Detroit has been looking for at "X" receiver, and Detroit traded up in the first round to add another promising perimeter receiver in Williams. With Amon-Ra St. Brown locked into the slot role, Cephus seems no higher than No. 4 or 5 on the depth chart entering 2022. However, if the Lions take a cautious approach with Williams' return from an ACL injury, the short list of candidates to take his spot in the starting lineup would be Cephus and Josh Reynolds.

  • Saints' Michael Thomas: Making progress

Coach Dennis Allen noted that the Saints feel good about where Thomas (ankle) stands in terms of his injury rehab, but acknowledged that there's "still a few hurdles" ahead for the wideout.

With that in mind, it seems as though Thomas -- who didn't play last season -- will be limited to some degree upon his return to the field. However, in the absence of any setbacks in the coming months, the 29-year-old appears poised to reclaim his spot atop the Saints' wideout depth chart which was recently bolstered by the team's selection of Chris Olave with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Tops depth chart along with Brown

Following the recent NFL Draft, the Eagles' wide receiver depth chart will be topped by newcomer A.J. Brown along with Smith, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Brown, who the Eagles obtained from the Titans on the first night of the draft, is now slated to pair with Smith, who caught 64 of his 104 targets for 916 yards and five TDs in 17 games as a rookie after going 10th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. At 6-foot-1, 226 pounds, Brown adds a physical presence opposite Smith, who's listed at 6-foot, 170 pounds. The duo's fantasy upside hinges largely on how well they click with starting QB Jalen Hurts, but both Brown and Smith should at least see steady volume in 2022, given they clearly head a wideout corps that also rosters Quez Watkins, Zach Pascal, Jalen Reagor and Greg Ward.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: In mix for No. 3 WR slot

Marshall and Rashard Higgins are both in the mix to claim the Panthers' No. 3 wide receiver job, Joseph Person of The Athletic reports.

Meanwhile, DJ Moore and Robby Anderson continue to top the team's wideout depth chart. Marshall -- a 2021 second-rounder -- is coming off a rookie season in which he caught 17 passes (on 30 targets) for 138 yards in 13 games. Presumably past a foot issue that landed him on IR late last season -- he'll have to compete for slotting with Higgins (24/275/1 in 15 games with the Browns) , but if either Moore or Anderson miss time at any point this season, whoever slots in as the team's WR3 could yield a degree of fantasy utility, regardless of who the team's starting QB is at that time.
