Tim Patrick WR | NYJ
Broncos' Tim Patrick: Restructures contract with Denver
The Broncos converted $6.9 million of Patrick's roster bonus to a signing bonus Friday to create roughly $4.6 million in salary cap space, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Patrick's restructured deal comes just four months after he signed a three-year, $29.25 million contract with the Broncos in November. The additional salary cap room will allow Denver to remain active as the team looks to improve the roster heading into next season. The veteran wideout caught 53 of 85 targets for 734 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games last season. The acquisition of Russell Wilson at quarterback marks a significant upgrade at the position and should provide Patrick the opportunity to take a step forward in the offense in 2022.

Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Restructures deal with Denver
The Broncos converted $10.5 million of Sutton's contract into a signing bonus Sunday to create $7.875 million in salary cap room, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Sutton inked a four-year, $60.8 million extension with the Broncos in November, and it didn't take long for the team to rework the deal in order to create some cap space. The 26-year-old caught 58 of 98 targets for 776 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games last season, and his outlook for 2022 is on the rise because Denver will have a major upgrade at quarterback following the acquisition of Russell Wilson.

Brandon Powell WR | MIN
Rams' Brandon Powell: Signs back with Rams
Powell agreed to a contract with the Rams on Saturday, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Powell spent much of the season on Los Angeles' practice squad, and he served as a return man in his six game appearances. He returned eight kickoffs for 208 yards and six punts for 133 yards with one touchdown.

Robert Woods WR | PIT
Titans' Robert Woods: Gets moved to Tennessee
The Rams traded Woods (knee) to the Titans on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
After the failed Julio Jones experiment in the 2021 campaign, the Titans are making another splash in the trade market this offseason to get a No. 2 wide receiver to complement A.J. Brown. Woods sustained a torn ACL during practice Nov. 13, but reports have emerged this offseason that he's aiming to participate at some point during the offseason program. Now, those sessions will be in Nashville versus L.A. following this deal. Prior to suffering the injury last season, he put together a 45-556-4 line on 69 targets in nine games, and the nine-year pro does have two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt, so the talent is there form him to be a viable pass catcher for Ryan Tannehill once Woods is healthy.

Amari Cooper WR | LV
Browns' Amari Cooper: Restructures contract
Cooper restructured his deal Saturday, converting the majority of his $20 million base salary into a signing bonus while adding two additional void years, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The move was made immediately following the team's acquisition of Deshaun Watson and giving him a record-setting five-year, $230 million contract Friday. Cooper figures to be in a prime position to regain his form after a down season in which the Pro Bowl wideout compiled 68 receptions, 865 yards and eight touchdowns across 15 games.

Gunner Olszewski WR | NYG
Steelers' Gunner Olszewski: Joining Steelers
Olszewski has agreed to a two-year, $4.2 million deal with the Steelers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Over his three seasons with the Patriots, Olszewski recorded just nine receptions, but perhaps the 25-year-old will be more involved as a receiver with the Steelers in 2022. In any case, the 6-foot, 190-pounder should continue to make his mark as a quality punt/kick returner.

JuJu Smith-Schuster WR | NYG
Chiefs' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Signs with Kansas City
Smith-Schuster has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chiefs, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the deal could earn Smith-Schuster up to $10.75 million this coming season. Injuries limited the 25-year-old to five games with the Steelers during the 2021 campaign, during which he logged a 15/129/0 stat line. Smith-Schuster was able to return to action in time for Pittsburgh's playoff loss to Kansas City, so he's presumably past the shoulder issue that had landed him on IR. In his new team context, Smith-Schuster will provide a quality complementary option alongside the Chiefs' top playmakers, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, with his fantasy ceiling boosted by the prospect of catching passes from star signal-caller Patrick Mahomes.

Marquez Callaway WR | LV
Saints' Marquez Callaway: Recovering from thumb surgery
Callaway had offseason surgery on his thumb, Nader Mirfiq of Rare Media Live reports.
Callaway has plenty of time to recover before training camp, at which point he'll likely be in the mix for the Saints' second or third wideout spot. Michael Thomas is expected to come back as the far-and-away No. 1, with Callaway and Deonte Harris the current favorites to earn key roles behind Thomas among the team's holdovers from 2021. While he fell far short of the summer hype, Callaway did finish last season with a respectable 46-698-6 receiving line on 84 targets, making him the leading receiver for one of the league's worst passing attacks.
-
DJ Moore WR | BUF
Panthers' DJ Moore: Inks three-year extension
Moore is signing a three-year extension with the Panthers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Previously scheduled to play out 2022 on a fifth-year option, Moore is now signed with the Panthers through 2025. He's finished between 1,157 and 1,193 receiving yards three straight seasons, with exactly four TDs each year, but his per-target efficiency took a nose-dive in 2021 (57.1 percent catch rate, 7.1 YPT) with the Panthers offense hitting a new low point. On the bright side, Moore's 163 targets last season were a career-high by 28, and he could break out in 2022 if similar volume is accompanied by better quarterback play. At the moment, however, it looks like the Panthers have missed out on all the top veteran QBs available, perhaps forcing them to settle for a mediocre veteran or a rookie in the upcoming NFL Draft. Regardless, Moore is the clear top option in the passing game, rivaled only (at times) by RB Christian McCaffrey.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Restructures contract
Hopkins (knee) and the Cardinals agreed to a restructured contract earlier this week, AZ Sports 98.7 FM reports.
The restructure gives Arizona an additional $10.7 million in cap space, but WR Christian Kirk (Jaguars) and RB Chase Edmonds (Dolphins) both are headed to Florida nonetheless. The Cardinals did retain two key free agents on offense, TE Zach Ertz and RB James Conner, and they presumably expect WR Rondale Moore to have a bigger role in his second pro season. That still leaves Hopkins as an overwhelming favorite to lead the team in targets, assuming he has better luck staying on the field this year. To that end, he was expected to complete his rehab from MCL surgery at some point in February, potentially giving him enough time to gain full clearance for spring practices. Hopkins will turn 30 in June, right around the time the Cardinals meet for mandatory minicamp.
