  • Dolphins' Trent Sherfield: Lands in Miami

The Dolphins are signing Sherfield to a one-year contract Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Sherfield reunites with coach Mike McDaniel in Miami, so it seems likely that he will reprise a similar role to the one he handled in San Francisco. Of course, with three straight seasons of under 100 receiving yards under his belt, Sherfield remains off the fantasy radar even with a new team. He stands to handle a depth role and contribute on special teams in the 2022 season.

  • Ashton Dulin WR | IND

Colts' Ashton Dulin: Receives tender from Colts

The Colts placed their right of first refusal tender on Dulin on Wednesday, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Indianapolis will now be able to match any contract offer from another team, should Dulin receive any. Assuming the Colts retain Dulin, he'll be sticking around on a one-year, $2.4 million deal. He caught 13 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns last season while also playing a significant role on special teams.

  • Titans' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Shifts up depth chart

Westbrook-Ikhine is currently positioned as the second receiver on Tennessee's depth chart after the team released Julio Jones on Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Westbrook-Ikhine joined the Titans as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2020 season and was a significant contributor to the team in 2021. He posted 38 receptions for 476 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games, highlighted by a 107-yard performance in Week 11 against Houston. Though Westbrook-Ikhine is currently penciled in behind only A.J. Brown on Tennessee's wide receiver depth chart, it's likely that that the team will add players at the position either in free agency or through the draft.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Reaches $60 million deal with Bucs

Godwin (knee) agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract extension with the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Tampa Bay applied the franchise tag on Godwin last week for the second consecutive year, but the two sides were quickly able to come to an agreement on a longer-term deal. The 2017 third-round pick will receive $40 million guaranteed and is set to return to the open market in 2025, when he'll be 29 years old. Godwin is recovering from the torn ACL and sprained MCL in his right knee he sustained Week 15, so his availability for the start of the 2022 campaign still appears to be in question.

  • Randall Cobb WR | NYJ

Packers' Randall Cobb: Reduces cap hit for 2022

The Packers and Cobb agreed to a restructure of his contract Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The status of Cobb likely was tied to Aaron Rodgers' decision, and once the latter opted to return to Green Bay and signed an extension, some maneuvering was required to get the Packers below the salary cap. According to Silverstein, Cobb's salary has been reduced from $8.5 million to $3 million for the upcoming season. Now that he's sticking in Green Bay for a 10th campaign, Cobb will look to build upon the 28-375-5 line he put together on 39 targets across 12 games in 2021.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Raiders' Mack Hollins: Signing with Raiders

Hollins agreed to a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.

The 6-foot-4, 221-pound wideout is coming off a 2021 campaign in which he recorded 14 catches (on 28 targets) for 223 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games. The 28-year-old now joins a Raiders wide receiver corps currently led by Hunter Renfrow and Bryan Edwards. At this stage, Hollins is a candidate to make a run at the No. 3 job, but he'll likely face competition from players not currently on the roster.

  • Cam Sims WR | CAR

Commanders' Cam Sims: Re-signs with Washington

Sims re-signed Wednesday with the Commanders on a two-year, $3 million contract, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Sims sticks with the only team he's ever known, having mostly served as a backup since first catching on with Washington in 2018. He made 10 starts in 2020 and finished the season with 477 yards, but then dropped to a 15-211-2 receiving line in 14 games last season (three starts). He'll likely be fourth or fifth on the wideout depth chart entering training camp this summer.

  • Gunner Olszewski: Headed for free agency

The Patriots declined to tender Olszewski a contract Wednesday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

New England could still look to re-sign the 25-year-old this offseason, but he'll now have an opportunity to explore his options elsewhere. In three NFL seasons, Olszewski has recorded just nine catches, but his contributions as a punt and kick returner will no doubt assist him in finding a landing spot for the 2022 season.

  • Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Back with Bucs

Perriman (abdomen) agreed Wednesday with the Buccaneers on a one-year deal, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

By the time the Bucs return to the field, the wideout should be recovered from the abdomen issue that kept him out of the team's wild-card round loss to the Rams. Perriman finished the regular season with 11 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown in six games. Looking ahead, the 2015 first-round selection will look to re-establish his role in a Tampa Bay wide-receiving corps headed by Mike Evans, Russell Gage and Chris Godwin (knee), who is recovering from a torn ACL.

  • Jakeem Grant WR | ATL

Browns' Jakeem Grant: Heading to Cleveland

Grant (ankle) agreed to a three-year deal with the Browns on Tuesday that's worth up to $13.8 million, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Grant missed the final game of 2021 with an ankle issue, but it won't affect his outlook in free agency. Chicago acquired the 29-year-old from Miami in October, and he finished the campaign with 11 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns to go along with 493 yards on 21 kick returns and 250 yards and one touchdown on 18 punt returns. Grant is likely to see most of his action in the return game for Cleveland, as well.
