Rams' Odell Beckham: ACL tear feared
Beckham is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's Super Bowl win over the Bengals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
If the torn ACL is confirmed, Beckham will be looking at a lengthy recovery period as the 2022 NFL season approaches. The wideout, who turns 30 on Nov. 5, is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and given the timing of his injury, an early-season absence figures to be in the cards for Beckham, who recorded a 44-537-5 stat line in 14 regular season games (six with Cleveland, eight with Los Angeles) during the 2021 campaign.

Tyler Boyd WR | TEN
Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Five catches in Super Bowl
Boyd recorded five receptions on six targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 23-20 Super Bowl LVI loss to the Rams.
Boyd delivered his best performance of the postseason in terms of both receptions and yards. As has been the case all season, he worked primarily underneath routes while both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins pushed further down the field. Boyd's longest catch of the day came early in the fourth quarter and went for a gain of 16 yards, though he also delivered an 11-yard reception in the first half. Overall, Boyd had his least productive season since 2017, and his role isn't likely to expand in 2022 with both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins returning to the team.

Van Jefferson WR | WAS
Rams' Van Jefferson: Four grabs in Super Bowl win
Jefferson brought in four of eight targets for 23 yards during the Rams' 23-20 win over the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday.
The speedster came into the game still somewhat nursing a knee injury he'd suffered in the NFC Championship Game, and perhaps that played a role in his limited production even after Odell Beckham left the game for good in the second quarter due to his own knee issue. Jefferson was also the target on Matthew Stafford's first interception late in the first half, a ball that the Bengals' Jessie Bates came down with in the end zone. However, Jefferson's reception total actually tied him for second on the Rams for the night, and it qualified as his highest since Week 17. Looking ahead to the 2022 season, Jefferson will be aiming to build on the significant step forward he took during a sophomore campaign that saw him contribute a 50-802-6 line across 17 games.

Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Solid in Super Bowl loss
Chase recorded five receptions on eight targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 23-20 Super Bowl LVI loss to the Rams.
Chase was overshadowed by Tee Higgins' two-touchdown performance, though he still delivered explosive plays of his own. He set up Cincinnati's first points of the game when he hauled in a 46-yard reception after beating Jalen Ramsey down the right sideline. Chase also added a 17-yard catch on the final drive of the game as the team was pushing down the field in an effort to attempt a game-tying field goal. Despite the disappointing loss, Chase was excellent throughout the postseason by topping 100 yards twice and posting five gains of 20 or more yards across four contests. He'll head into his second season as the primary big-play threat in the Bengals' offense while working opposite Higgins.

Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Delivers long touchdown
Higgins recorded four receptions on seven targets for 100 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-20 Super Bowl LVI loss to the Rams.
Higgins made the most of his four catches by tallying a pair of touchdowns in the biggest game of the season. The first came on a trick play that resulted in a six-yard pass from Joe Mixon in the back corner of the end zone. Higgins then added an explosive 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the second half when he beat Jalen Ramsey down the sideline and outraced the rest of the Rams' secondary to the end zone. He was largely quiet from there, as Joe Burrow was consistently pressured and the Bengals' offense struggled to produce as a result. Overall, Higgins delivered impressive results in his second professional season, and he will continue to be a dynamic performer working opposite Ja'Marr Chase in 2022.

Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: MVP performance in Super Bowl
Kupp brought in eight of 10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns and rushed once for seven yards during the Rams' 23-20 win over the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. He was also named Super Bowl MVP.
Kupp delivered handsomely when it mattered most after what many felt was an MVP-worthy season, snagging a game-winning one-yard touchdown grab with 1:25 remaining. However, that memorable catch tells only part of the story for the fifth-year pro, who missed his first career opportunity to play in the Super Bowl after the 2018 season due to a torn ACL. Kupp also recorded an 11-yard touchdown reception early in the second quarter to give the Rams a two-possession lead at the time, and prior to his championship-clinching score, he had a clutch seven-yard rush on fourth down and catches of eight, 22 and eight yards on that final drive, as well as a four-yard touchdown reception nullified by offsetting penalties. Kupp could have arguably had an even bigger performance had Odell Beckham, who was commanding a good bit of attention with strong early-game play, hadn't exited for good in the first half with a knee injury. The Super Bowl MVP award Kupp earned with the performance is a fitting cap on a season that also saw him named Offensive Player of the Year and put together a stellar three-game playoff run in which he logged 25 receptions for 386 yards and four touchdowns.

Rams' Odell Beckham: Downgraded to out
Beckham (knee) won't return to Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals on Sunday.
Beckham led the Rams in receiving yards when he departed the game late in the second half, as he had hauled in two of three targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. The Rams' medical staff hasn't yet revealed the diagnosis for Beckham's non-contact knee injury. However, Ben Skowronek should continue to see increased playing time for the remainder of the Super Bowl.

Rams' Odell Beckham: Questionable to return
Beckham (knee) is questionable to return to Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals on Sunday.
Beckham suffered a non-contact left knee injury late in the second half and was helped to the locker room shortly after. Ben Skowronek took on additional playing time after the 29-year-old's departure and should continue to see an uptick in snaps if Beckham is unable to return.

Rams' Odell Beckham: Heads to locker room
Beckham went to the locker room late in the first half of Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals on Sunday after suffering an apparent non-contact left knee injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Beckham dropped a pass with just under four minutes remaining in the second quarter, and he went down clutching his left knee. He was able to walk off the field with assistance from the medical staff, but he was escorted to the locker room after being briefly examined on the sidelines. He was productive prior to his departure, as he secured two of three targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. If Beckham is unable to return, Ben Skowronek should see increased playing time.

Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Reconciliation possible?
Thomas, who was rehabilitating his left ankle injury in New York for most of the 2021 season, has returned to New Orleans and is expected to play next year, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.
It seemed almost a foregone conclusion Thomas' tenure with the Saints would be coming to a close this offseason considering the organization's significant hierarchy upheaval, a looming cap-room crisis and what had been by all accounts a rather frigid relationship between the two-time All-Pro wide receiver and the franchise since the former underwent a second surgery on his ankle in July. While it's entirely possible the Saints could still look to deal Thomas given so much uncertainty regarding the direction of the franchise post Sean Payton, Rapoport's report seemed to indicate the team would prefer to keep the soon-to-be 29-year-old around. That's a significant statement given a breakup seemed inevitable six months ago, but it's also fair to point out that plans may change depending on how the Saints operate this offseason with negative $72 million in cap room.
