  • Mathew Sexton WR | MIA

Chiefs' Mathew Sexton: Inking with Chiefs

Kansas City signed Sexton to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Sexton boasts significant speed and could offer the Chiefs some developmental upside as a depth wideout or option in the return game. He spent time in Pittsburgh during the 2021 offseason.

  • Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Leads team in receiving yards Sunday

Edwards caught four of five targets for 63 yards in Sunday's overtime thriller against the Chargers, which ended in a 35-32 victory for the Raiders.

Edwards saw north of four targets Sunday night for just the second time since Week 5, bringing his regular season totals to 34 catches for 571 yards and three touchdowns on 59 targets in 16 games. The 2020 third-rounder failed to match the production of fellow receivers Hunter Renfrow and Zay Jones through the latter half of his sophomore campaign, but Edwards still showed signs of improvement after a rookie season that was derailed by ankle and foot injuries. He'll remain involved on the outside this weekend as the Raiders head to Cincinnati for a wild-card contest against the Bengals.

  • Zay Jones WR | HOU

Raiders' Zay Jones: Targeted eight times in OT victory

Jones caught five of eight targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 35-32 overtime win over the Chargers.

Jones finished the regular season with 47 receptions for 546 yards and a touchdown on 70 targets in 17 contests, enjoying his best receiving totals since a 2018 campaign with the Bills that included 56 catches and seven scores. The 26-year-old saw his role within the Raiders' aerial attack expand against the Cowboys in Week 12 when he caught more than two passes in a single game for the first time all season, and Jones ultimately averaged 7.7 targets per tilt over the team's final seven games. Jones, who's slated to enter unrestricted free agency in 2022, should remain busy in a wild-card matchup against the Bengals this weekend.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Injury-plagued rookie year

Toney (shoulder) finished an injury-plagued rookie season with 39 catches on 57 targets for 420 yards and no touchdowns.

Toney had just about every issue imaginable as a rookie with hamstring, ankle, thumb, quad, oblique and shoulder injuries as well as two stints on the COVID-19 list. But on the rare occasion he was healthy, he was electric, breaking tackles and showing rare quickness and burst. His Week 5 game against the Cowboys (13-10-189-0) showed his upside if the Giants ever get competent QB play, and Toney himself stays on the field.

  • Jalen Reagor WR | MIA

Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Totals 29 yards in loss

Reagor caught two of his three targets for 19 yards and rushed three times for 10 yards in Saturday's 51-26 loss to Dallas.

It was an underwhelming end to an underwhelming regular season for Reagor. He led all Philadelphia pass catchers in snaps with 69 but still failed to produce. The 2020 first-round pick finishes the regular season with 33 catches on 57 targets for 299 yards and two touchdowns. That's 97 yards fewer than his rookie season despite playing six more games.

Taylor made his way onto the field for 32 of 54 offensive snaps in Week 18 against the Browns, finishing with two receptions for 41 yards on three targets and one punt return for 11 yards. He'll serve as depth for the Bengals if needed during the postseaon.

  • Keith Kirkwood WR | BAL

Keith Kirkwood: Returns to practice squad

Kirkwood reverted to the Panthers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Kirkwood was active for third time this season in Week 18, as he filled in for Shi Smith (illness) and Terrace Marshall (foot). He did not record a reception but was targeted once on 10 offensive snaps. Kirkwood ends the campaign with three receptions for 17 yards, his best totals since his rookie season in 2018.

  • Easop Winston WR | NYJ

Saints' Easop Winston: Earns contract with Saints

The Saints signed Winston to a reserve/future contract Monday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Winston spent the 2021 season on the Saints' practice squad, though he was elevated for three games while the team dealt with absences due to injury and a suspension in its receiving corps. He played primarily on special teams in that span, though he did log one catch for five yards. Winston will now have the chance to earn a roster spot for the 2022 campaign with a strong showing during offseason activities and training camp.

  • Kawaan Baker WR | GB

Saints' Kawaan Baker: Sticks with Saints

Baker will have a chance to make the Saints' active roster in 2022 with a strong showing during offseason activities and training camp.
