Robbie Chosen WR | WAS
Panthers' Robby Anderson: Tending to quad injury
Anderson didn't practice Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury.
If Anderson was hurt in this past Sunday's loss at New Orleans, it wasn't evident in his workload, as he was on the field for 98 percent of Carolina's offensive plays on his way to hauling in both of his targets for 10 yards. With a health concern now in tow, his activity level will be something to watch Thursday and Friday to get a sense of his potential to play Week 18 at Tampa Bay.

Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: May play some this week
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Chase "potentially" could play in Sunday's game against Cleveland, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
With quarterback Joe Burrow already acknowledging that he'll sit out with a minor knee injury he would otherwise normally play through if the Bengals hadn't already locked up a playoff spot, there's a good chance Chase plays less than a full game, if he even suits up at all. He already has the rookie record for receiving yards (1,428), thanks to his 11-266-3 line in the Week 17 win over Kansas City.

Nelson Agholor WR | BAL
Patriots' Nelson Agholor: Back at practice
Agholor (concussion) was present for the start of practice Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Wednesday's injury report will reveal the extent of Agholor's participation, but the wideout's return to practice has him trending in the right direction as Sunday's regular-season finale against the Dolphins approaches. Agholor has missed the Patriots' last two games while in the concussion protocol.

Terrace Marshall Jr. WR | MIA
Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Moves to IR
Carolina placed Marshall on injured reserve Wednesday with a foot injury, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
The injury spells a disappointing end to a quiet rookie season for Marshall, who caught only 17 passes for 138 yards and eventually lost the No. 3 receiver job to Brandon Zylstra. In his defense, Marshall is on the young side for a rookie, as he won't turn 22 years old until June. He also had the misfortune of spending his debut in one of the worst passing offenses in the league. Still, the tape Marshall put out is far from promising, especially with the Panthers facing an uncertain future at quarterback entering 2022.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Gets in limited practice
Toney (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice report, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Toney is being listed as a non-participant for the first time since picking up a shoulder issue Week 16, though he was spotted working out with a Giants trainer last Friday before being ruled out ahead of the Giants' Week 17 loss to the Bears. The rookie first-round pick may be setting himself up for a return Sunday against Washington, but he likely will need to string together a few practices this week before the team clears him for his 11th appearance of the campaign.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Not at practice
Samuel (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Samuel's absence from the Football Team's first practice of the week isn't a promising early sign he'll be able to play in the season finale against the Giants, though he at least has two more chances to practice before Sunday. He last played Week 14 and has made only five appearances this season, logging 25 or fewer snaps each time.
-
Jamison Crowder WR | WAS
Jets' Jamison Crowder: Returning to practice
Crowder (calf) will return to practice Wednesday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Crowder has missed the last pair of games with a calf injury and will be back on the field after he was unable to practice in any capacity across the last two weeks. It's not yet clear whether he'll have any limitations Wednesday, but any participation in practice is encouraging for his chances of returning for Sunday's season finale versus the Bills.
-
Braxton Berrios WR | NYG
Jets' Braxton Berrios: Set to miss practice Wednesday
Berrios is dealing with a quad contusion and won't practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
That said, the report notes that head coach Robert Saleh said he "isn't overly concerned" about Berrios' quad issue, with the wide receiver's absence Wednesday being more of a maintenance day. If Berrios is able to return to practice Thursday in any capacity, he would presumably be on track to play Sunday against the Bills. Berrios is coming off a big Week 17 game in which he totaled eight receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets to go with two carries for 12 yards and another score. Though Berrios is still likely to see plenty of involvement on offense if available for the season finale, he'll probably see at least a slight drop in targets and touches if one or both of Elijah Moore (quadriceps) and Jamison Crowder (calf) are cleared to play.
-
Terrace Marshall Jr. WR | MIA
Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Expected to miss season finale
The Panthers are expected to place Marshall on injured reserve Wednesday with an unspecified injury, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Once the transaction is completed, Marshall won't be eligible to play in Sunday's season finale in Tampa Bay. Marshall's rookie season is thus on the cusp of coming to an end, with the second-round selection having struggled to justify the hype he generated coming out of training camp and the preseason. Through 13 appearances, Marshall secured only 17 of 30 targets for 138 yards. He has yet to score his first NFL touchdown.

Jaydon Mickens WR | IND
Jaguars' Jaydon Mickens: Removed from COVID-19 list
The Jaguars activated Mickens (undisclosed) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Mickens was sidelined for the Jaguars' Week 17 blowout loss to the Patriots after landing on the COVID-19 list. He has suited up for five games for Jacksonville since being claimed off Tampa Bay's practice squad, but he's mostly operated on special teams. He's expected to return to his usual return duties during Week 18.
