David Sills: Back to practice squad

Sills reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.

Sills played 15 of the team's 76 offensive snaps and caught his only target for five yards. He also played seven special-team snaps. If the Giants' wideout corps remains depleted, Sills may get another elevation in Week 17.

  • Brandon Powell WR | MIN

Brandon Powell: Heads back to practice squad

Powell reverted to the Rams' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Powell played just one offensive snap during Sunday's 30-23 win over the Vikings. However, he made his presence felt on special teams once again, notching two punt returns for 75 yards -- including a 61-yard return for a touchdown.

  • Michael Bandy WR | DEN

Michael Bandy: Heads back to practice squad

Bandy reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Bandy played 10 offensive snaps and six special-team snaps during Sunday's loss to the Texans. He didn't receive a target, but he did return four kickoffs for 88 yards. If Mike Williams and Jalen Guyton are unable to clear protocols this week, Bandy may see a similar workload in Week 17.

  • Tyron Johnson WR | DAL

Tyron Johnson: Reverts back to practice squad

Johnson reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Johnson played 18 of the Raiders' 69 offensive snaps and five special-team snaps, but he didn't record any counting stats. The 25-year-old has appeared in three games for Las Vegas this season, but he hasn't garnered a target across 21 total offensive snaps.

  • Keke Coutee WR | MIA

Keke Coutee: Reverts to practice squad

Coutee reverted to Indianapolis' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Coutee was elevated to the Colts' active roster in Week 16 with Zach Pascal placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The veteran wide receiver played 29 of the team's 70 offensive snaps but failed to record any stats in the contest. Coutee will have to wait for his next opportunity while on the Colts' practice squad.

  • Jalen Camp WR | CLE

Jalen Camp: Reverts to practice squad

Camp reverted to Houston's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Camp was called up to Houston's active roster with Brandin Cooks on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The wideout played on 22 of the team's 68 offensive snaps and failed to record any stats in the contest. Camp now finds himself back on the Texans' practice squad.

  • Allen Robinson WR | DET

Bears' Allen Robinson: Reveals weight loss due to COVID-19

Robinson said Tuesday that he lost 10 pounds during his recent bout with COVID-19, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Robinson was away from the Bears starting Dec. 16 through Monday, when they activated him from the reserve/COVID-19 list. He specifically noted Tuesday that his conditioning may not be up to par, a reality that may lead to some practice limitations Wednesday through Friday. It's unclear if Robinson is in danger of missing a sixth game of the season Sunday against the Giants, but the coming days should provide some insight into his Week 17 availability.

  • Trent Taylor WR | SF

Trent Taylor: Reverts to practice squad

Taylor reverted to Cincinnati's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Taylor logged one offensive snap and seven special teams snaps. The wideout returned three kickoffs for 45 yards and two punt returns for a total of 16 yards. Taylor heads back to the practice squad to await his next opportunity on the active roster.

  • Nsimba Webster WR | CHI

Nsimba Webster: Reverts back to practice squad

Webster reverted to the Bears' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Webster was called up for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, but he played exclusively on special teams. He logged one tackle on kick coverage across 12 special-team snaps and will now return to Chicago's practice squad.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Could cede snaps to Schwartz

Peoples-Jones could see his role decrease over the final two weeks as Cleveland gives Anthony Schwartz more work, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. "I think for sure with Anthony coming off the concussion protocol and getting into these games, getting him some touches, I think his role will grow," coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday.

Schwartz returned from a three-game absence due to a concussion to play a scaled-back role the last two games and caught a touchdown on his lone target in Week 16's loss to the Packers. The rookie speedster is similar to Peoples-Jones in that both are considered downfield threats, so it would seem natural any increase in Schwartz's role would come at the expense of Peoples-Jones' snap count. The second-year wideout caught just one of five targets for five yards last week and has a 44 percent catch rate (15 of 34 targets) over the last six games as the team's primary downfield option.
