Terry McLaurin WR | WAS
Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Team-leading yardage in loss
McLaurin brought in two of four targets for 51 yards in Washington's 27-17 loss to the Eagles on Tuesday night.
McLaurin's receiving yardage tally, modest as it was, paced Washington on the night, although nearly all of it came on a 46-yard grab. The speedster's fantasy outlook was naturally dampened by the fact the Football Team was forced to go with Garrett Gilbert at quarterback in the absence of both Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen due to COVID-19 protocols. McLaurin's 51 yards also represent his high-water mark over the last four games, sending him into a Week 16 road matchup against the Cowboys in a near-month-long funk.

DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Sees 12 targets in loss
Metcalf (foot/back) had six receptions (12 targets) for 52 yards in Tuesday's 20-10 loss to the Rams.
With fellow starting wideout Tyler Lockett (illness) out of action, Metcalf drew the attention of shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey for the majority of the contest. Netting 52 yards on a 50 percent catch rate isn't a horrible result when factoring in the tough matchup, but it also doesn't stand out from a recent string of poor performances either. After a strong start to the season, the 23-year-old has failed to either top 60 yards or score a touchdown since Seattle's Week 9 bye. Metcalf will get another attempt to deliver on at least one of those modest goals in a Week 16 matchup against the Bears on Sunday.

DeVonta Smith WR | PHI
Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Three catches in win
Smith brought in three of five targets for 40 yards in the Eagles' 27-17 win over Washington on Tuesday night.
The speedster took a back seat in the air attack to tight end Dallas Goedert, who exploded for a season-high 135 receiving yards. Smith got 28 of his yards on one catch, but it was otherwise a quiet night for the talented rookie. Despite the untimely downturn Tuesday, Smith is still seemingly a poor candidate for a Week 16 benching on fantasy playoff rosters considering his home matchup against a Giants secondary that's played poorly on the road all season.

Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Outstanding season continues
Kupp had nine receptions (13 targets) for 136 yards and two touchdowns in Tuesday's 20-10 win over the Seahawks.
Seattle's defense had no answer for the Stafford to Kupp connection, resulting in yet another monster fantasy showing from the breakout superstar. Kupp has now posted three straight games with both 100-plus yards and a touchdown, his second such streak this season. Odell Beckham's presence (1-7-0) continued to not affect the Rams' true top offensive weapon either. Kupp will carry spectacular averages of 8.7 receptions, 116.1 yards and a touchdown per game into next Sunday's tilt against the Vikings.

Daurice Fountain WR | DET
Daurice Fountain: Lands on COVID list
Fountain (illness) was placed on the Chiefs' practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday, per the NFL transaction log.
Fountain tested positive for the virus, as all four players who landed on the practice squad COVID -19 lists were the result of a positive test, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. The 26-year-old has appeared in two games for the Chiefs this season.
-
Seth Williams WR | LV
Seth Williams: Restored from COVID list
Williams (illness) has returned to the Broncos' practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list, Aric DiLalla of the team's official website reports.
Williams reportedly tested positive for the virus, so his return indicates he has provided two consecutive negative tests 24 hours apart. He will now return to practice per usual.

Cole Beasley WR | NYG
Bills' Cole Beasley: Ineligible for Week 16
Beasley won't be available for Sunday's game against the Patriots after he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday due to testing positive for the virus, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Because Beasley is abiding to the NFL protocols for unvaccinated players, he'll have to complete a 10-day quarantine following his positive test, regardless if he's asymptomatic or not. Since Beasley won't be eligible to rejoin the Bills until the middle of next week at the earliest, he'll miss out on a pivotal matchup with New England that could end up deciding the AFC East champion. With fellow wideout Emmanuel Sanders (knee) far from a safe bet to be available Sunday, the Bills could have to rely heavily on Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie and Jake Kumerow to pick up more reps alongside No. 1 receiver Stefon Diggs.
-
Darrius Shepherd WR | LAC
Darrius Shepherd: Chopped from practice squad
Shepherd was cut from the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday.
The 26-year-old was signed to the team's practice squad Friday, but with fellow wide receiver Trishton Jackson (illness) returning from the COVID-19 list, it appears like the team no longer needs Shepherd's services. Shepherd will now look for another opportunity to prove himself elsewhere.
-
Trishton Jackson WR | ARI
Trishton Jackson: Reinstated from Vikings' COVID list
Jackson was reinstated from the Vikings' practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday.
The wide receiver will rejoin the Vikings' practice squad after missing a week while going through COVID-19 protocols. Jackson has yet to make his NFL debut and will remain a depth option for the team.

Rondale Moore WR | MIN
Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Opens Week 16 prep with DNP
Moore (ankle) was estimated as a non-participant on Tuesday's injury report, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Moore was forced out of this past Sunday's loss at Detroit due to an ankle injury and underwent an MRI on Monday. The results of that examination are unknown, but the rookie wide receiver isn't being ruled out for a Saturday matchup with the Colts in Week 16, as head coach Kliff Kingsbury labeled Moore as day-to-day, per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. That being said, Moore wouldn't have practiced if the Cardinals had held a formal session Tuesday, and Kingsbury admitted that the wideout isn't expected to do much in practices Wednesday and Thursday, either. Even if he's not ruled out for Saturday's game, Moore will likely carry a designation into the contest.
