Cole Beasley WR | NYG
Bills' Cole Beasley: Returns to limited practice
Beasley (ribs) was listed as a limited practice participant Thursday.
Beasley's return to the field Thursday indicates that his absence from Wednesday's practice was maintenance-related rather than indicative of a setback with the rib injury he has been managing. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Buffalo's slot man approaches Sunday's game against the Colts with an injury designation or fully cleared for Week 11 action.
-
Ty Montgomery WR | NE
Saints' Ty Montgomery: Misses second consecutive practice
Montgomery (finger) remained absent at practice Thursday, Amie Just of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Montgomery hasn't practiced since exiting last week's loss to the Titans as a result of this injury. Also missing from Thursday's practice was Alvin Kamara (knee), who didn't suit up against Tennessee but practiced in limited fashion Wednesday. The versatile Montgomery would likely absorb some of Kamara's pass-catching duties out of the backfield if he plays Sunday in Philadelphia and Kamara doesn't, but such a scenario seems unlikely at this point.
-
Tyron Johnson WR | DAL
Tyron Johnson: Joins Vegas' practice squad
Johnson was signed to the Raiders' practice squad Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Rapoport adds that Johnson has a chance to get called up to the main roster quickly, so there's a chance he could make his Raiders debut as soon as Sunday against the Bengals. Johnson has 22 catches for 414 yards and three touchdowns in 17 career games split between the Chargers and Jaguars.
-
Terry McLaurin WR | WAS
Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Full participant Thursday
McLaurin (shoulder) practiced fully Thursday, Matthew Paras of The Washington Times reports.
McLaurin missed some game action this past Sunday against the Buccaneers with a collarbone injury, which lingered into Week 11 prep. After having his practice reps capped Wednesday, he managed to log all of them one day later, setting himself up to be available Sunday in Carolina. McLaurin will take on a Panthers defense that has allowed just 7.6 yards per target to wide receivers this season (ninth best in the NFL).

Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Not practicing Thursday
Peoples-Jones (groin) won't participate in Thursday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Though offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt expressed optimism earlier in the day that Peoples-Jones would be on the field Thursday in at least some capacity, the second-year wideout will take a step back in terms of activity after he was listed as a limited participant Wednesday. According to Ulrich, Peoples-Jones was spotted on a stationary bike during the open portion of Thursday's session, but it's not clear if he'll be able to do any positional or individual work behind the scenes. Peoples-Jones may need to return to limited activity or practice fully Friday to avoid being ruled out in advance of Sunday's game against the Lions.
-
Marquise Brown WR | PHI
Ravens' Marquise Brown: Misses another practice
Brown (thigh) missed practice again Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Now that he's missed back-to-back sessions, what Brown is able to do at practice Friday will be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up for Sunday's game against the Bears. Over his last three contests, Brown has averaged 13 targets per game, en route to catching 20 passes in that span.
-
Marcus Kemp WR | WAS
Chiefs' Marcus Kemp: Placed in COVID protocol
Kemp was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, Herbie Teope of the Kansas City Star reports.
Kemp will need to clear the league's COVID-19 protocols quickly in order to suit up Sunday against the Cowboys. If he misses game action, Kemp's absence will be felt on special teams, but the offense won't miss a beat, as he's registered just two catches all season.
-
Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: OC hopes he can practice
Offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt is hopeful Peoples-Jones (groin) will be able to practice Thursday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
It sounds like Peoples-Jones -- who was a limited participant Wednesday -- will remain limited in Thursday's practice, if he takes part in it at all. The 22-year-old wide receiver is coming off a down week in which he only caught one pass, but Peoples-Jones remains locked into a starting role when healthy.
-
Cole Beasley WR | NYG
Bills' Cole Beasley: Spotted at practice Thursday
Beasley (ribs) was present for Thursday's practice, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
It remains to be seen how the Bills list Beasley's participation level, but a limited session would imply that the slot man's absence from Wednesday's practice was maintenance-related. While working through his rib issue in Week 10, Beasley was limited to just nine snaps in this past Sunday's 45-17 win over the Jets.
-
Sterling Shepard WR | NYJ
Giants' Sterling Shepard: Not yet practicing
Shepard (quadriceps) was working off to the side with trainers Thursday and is set to be listed as a non-participant on the Giants' first official practice report of Week 11, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Even with the benefit of a Week 10 bye plus a longer turnaround for Week 11 with the Giants playing the Buccaneers on Monday, Shepard doesn't look like he'll be able to recover from a left quad strain in time to suit up. The Giants will hold out hope that Shepard upgrades to limited activity in practices Friday and Saturday, but at this stage, the wideout looks to be trending toward a second straight missed game. If that's the case, Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney and Darius Slayton would serve as the Giants' starting receivers Week 11.
