  • Giants' Sterling Shepard: Limited to rehab work

Shepard (quadriceps) remained limited to working on a side field with the Giants' training staff during Wednesday's informal practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Shepard's inability to take reps with his healthy teammates isn't the best sign coming out of a bye week, but he at least has an extra day to prepare with the Giants facing the Buccaneers on "Monday Night Football" in Week 11. The G-Men will release their first official practice report Thursday, at which point Shepard presumably will be listed as either a limited participant or non-participant. He missed a Week 9 loss to Kansas City before last week's bye.

  • Allen Robinson WR | DET

Bears' Allen Robinson: Dealing with hamstring injury

Robinson was unable to practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.

Previously, the Bears implemented practice limitations on Robinson between Weeks 5 and 8 due to an ankle injury. After having no limitations before the team's last game Week 9, he's emerged from the bye week with a new injury concern. Robinson has been a shell of himself this season from a production standpoint, catching just 30 of 50 targets for 339 yards and one touchdown in nine contests. He'll have two more session this week as he aims to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

  • Chase Claypool WR | BUF

Steelers' Chase Claypool: Limited in return to practice

Claypool (toe) was a limited participant Wednesday in his return to practice, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Claypool is hoping to make it back for Sunday's road game against the Chargers after missing the Steelers' 16-16 tie with Detroit in Week 10. The wideout's fantasy managers may have been spared a dismal outing had he suited up, as Pittsburgh's offense struggled with backup quarterback Mason Rudolph limited by bad weather in addition to his own shortcomings as a passer. It's not yet clear if Claypool and/or Ben Roethlisberger (reserve/COVID-19 list) will be available for Sunday's matchup between AFC playoff hopefuls.

  • Cole Beasley WR | NYG

    Bills' Cole Beasley: Sidelined Wednesday

Beasley (ribs) didn't practice Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Beasley was limited to just nine snaps in this past Sunday's 45-17 blowout win over the Jets, with head coach Sean McDermott noting afterward that the team was "trying to get [the receiver] through that game," per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com. With that in mind, Beasley's absence from the Bills' first Week 11 practice isn't overly surprising. As long as he returns to practice in some capacity Thursday, Beasley should be ready to play this weekend against the Colts.

  • Saints' Ty Montgomery: DNP on Wednesday

Montgomery (finger) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Montgomery exited early Sunday against the Titans with the injury and did not return. He'll try to get back on the practice field Thursday in preparation for the Saints' Week 11 matchup with the Eagles.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | SF

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Manages limited practice

Samuel (shin) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Participation in any capacity to start the week puts Samuel on track to play in Sunday's game at Jacksonville. His dominant target share may be slipping a little with Brandon Aiyuk and now George Kittle more involved in the passing attack, but Samuel continues to put up big numbers and needs just 21 more receiving yards to reach 1,000 in a season for the first time in his career. He also had five carries for 36 yards and a score in Monday's 31-10 win over the Rams, his first rushing contributions since Week 5.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Packers' Davante Adams: Present but not practicing

Adams wasn't taking part in the part of Wednesday's walk-through practice that was open to the media, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Instead, Adams stretched out and was riding a stationary bike. Considering his veteran status, Adams could be receiving the day off, but his listing on Wednesday's practice report will indicate whether or not he's dealing with a health concern.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Dealing with shoulder injury

McLaurin was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a shoulder injury, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

McLaurin's practice reps previously were capped this season by lower-body injuries, but he's now tending to what the team considers a shoulder issue. The wideout's appearance of the injury report comes as no surprise after he left this past Sunday's win against the Buccaneers for a spell due to what was initially classified as a collarbone injury. The fact McLaurin is fitting in reps is a good sign that he should be OK for game action, but his status nonetheless should be watched to ensure he's available Sunday in Carolina.

  • Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Fails to practice Wednesday

Schwartz (concussion) is listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Schwartz remains in the concussion protocol and hasn't yet progressed to the point where he can practice in any capacity. The wideout looks like he still has multiple steps to clear in the protocol, leaving his status murky for Sunday's game against the Lions.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Football Team's Curtis Samuel: No return Wednesday

Samuel (groin) isn't practicing Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera is giving Samuel more time before potentially placing the wideout on injured reserve for a second time, which would rule him out for the season. That being said, each practice Samuel continues to miss puts him a little closer to that unfortunate potential outcome. Samuel last played Week 5 and has taken only 30 snaps total since signing with Washington this offseason.
