  • Randall Cobb WR | NYJ

Packers' Randall Cobb: Leads team in receiving yards

Cobb caught three passes for 50 yards on five targets against Kansas City on Sunday.

Cobb's box score was mostly propelled by a 35-yard reception on a somewhat improvised throw from Jordan Love, which marked the longest play of the day for the Packers offense. It was encouraging to see Cobb show that in-play adjustment ability much like he does with starter Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19), yet the five targets on 34 pass attempts is a reminder that Cobb's role is that of a glue guy rather than a featured component of the Green Bay offense. It's not clear whether the Packers will get Rodgers back for a home game against Seattle in Week 10.

  • Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Silent against Giants

Edwards earned four targets but did not record a reception in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Giants.

Edwards was among three Raiders to record four targets, though he get couldn't get on the same page with Derek Carr. Edwards has consistently been on the field for offensive snaps this season, but he has failed to record more than three catches in all but one game. The expected addition of DeSean Jackson will only make his potential for volume more tenuous moving forward.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Packers' Davante Adams: Difficulties with new QB

Adams caught six passes for 42 yards on 14 targets against Kansas City on Sunday.

It's not clear whether Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19) will be available for Green Bay's Week 10 game against Seattle, but it is clear that Jordan Love probably can't get Adams the ball reliably enough for Adams to maintain the dominant production he posted with Rodgers. Adams nearly had a big catch on Love's one interception -- corner L'Jarius Sneed made a great play -- and at another point Love narrowly misplaced a downfield throw after Adams easily beat the defense. It's easy to imagine a way Sunday's game could have been more fruitful for Adams, but there's no guarantee Love does better if the same situations occur in Week 10. With that said, the 14 targets is perhaps reason for optimism, because that target count made up 41.1 percent of Green Bay's targets on the day.

  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Chiefs' Tyreek Hill: Ineffective on 11 targets

Hill caught four passes for 36 yards on 11 targets against Green Bay on Sunday.

Hill's targets weren't especially useful for the Chiefs in the 13-7 win, but there was only so much he could do with Patrick Mahomes struggling badly yet again, completing just 20 of 37 attempts for 166 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs have seen relatively friendly pass defenses the last three weeks (Green Bay, the Giants and Tennessee), yet Mahomes has just two touchdowns in that span and in each game averaged less than 6.0 yards per pass. Clearly there are foundational issues facing the Chiefs offense, and some sort of course correction might be necessary for them to break out of their slump. The good news for Hill is he's seen 38 targets in that span, and with his abilities that sort of usage will yield results eventually, even if the rest of the offense struggles. The Chiefs will probably give Hill another big workload when they head to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in Week 10.

  • Tim Patrick WR | NYJ

Broncos' Tim Patrick: Okay after injury scare

Patrick recorded four receptions on five targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Cowboys.

Patrick was among a number of Broncos to suffer potential injuries Sunday, though it turned out that he was only suffering from cramping, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. While on the field, Patrick delivered a few big plays, highlighted by a 44-yard touchdown early in the second quarter. He has only eight targets combined between two games since the return of Jerry Jeudy, though Patrick has tallied 149 receiving yards in that span and proven to be a capable deep threat. Patrick and the Broncos will take on the Eagles in Week 10.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Sees eight targets

Jeudy recorded six receptions on eight targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Cowboys.

Jeudy saw an increased workload in his second game back from a serious ankle injury, a positive sign particularly given that the Broncos were ahead for the entirety of the contest. He recorded long receptions of 25, 20 and 16 yards, with the rest of his receptions racking up minimal yardage. Jeudy should be fully ramped up heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Eagles.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Dolphins' Mack Hollins: Finds end zone in win

Hollins brought in three of six targets for 22 yards in the Dolphins' 17-9 win over the Texans on Sunday.

Hollins notched the Dolphins' only touchdown through the air on the afternoon, recording a five-yard scoring grab late in the second quarter. The fifth-year veteran now has touchdowns in two of the last three games, although he's sandwiched those accomplishments around a catch-less effort against the Bills in Week 8. Hollins' next chance to extend his modestly favorable stretch comes Thursday night in a Week 10 home matchup against the Ravens.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Trio of grabs in loss

Collins secured all three targets for 25 yards in the Texans' 17-9 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.

The rookie turned in an underwhelming performance following a career-best four-catch, 55-yard effort in Week 8 against the Rams. Collins does have multiple grabs in four straight contests, and perhaps the talented rookie will be able to progressively build up his production the longer he gets a chance to work with a capable veteran in Tyrod Taylor.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

Rams' Robert Woods: Suiting up Sunday

Woods (foot) is listed as active Sunday against the Titans, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Woods logged just one limited practice this week (Friday), but it was enough for him to gain clearance to play through his foot injury. He's been a decent enough No. 2 behind Cooper Kupp, the NFL's leader in receiving, turning his 59 targets into a 38-458-4 line through eight games. Woods will look to keep it up versus a Tennessee defense that ranks 23rd against the pass (267.4 yards per game).

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Titans' Josh Reynolds: Healthy scratch Sunday

Reynolds (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Reynolds was on the field for just five offensive snaps last week, and he'll be held out for Sunday night's matchup. The 26-year-old has hauled in 10 of 13 targets for 90 yards across five appearances this season.
