Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Ruled out for Sunday
Peoples-Jones (groin) will not play in the Browns' Week 8 contest with the Steelers on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Peoples-Jones suffered a groin injury during pregame warmups ahead of the Browns' Week 7 matchup with the Broncos. The receiver has yet to practice in any capacity so far this week and he will now miss his second consecutive game. Expect Rashard Higgins and Anthony Schwartz to play key roles in the Browns' passing game Sunday against the Steelers.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Returns to practice
Toney (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
The rookie likely will be a limited participant in his first practice since aggravating an ankle injury in the Week 6 loss to Los Angeles. While Toney returned to the field Friday, teammates Saquon Barkley (ankle) and Kenny Golladay (knee) reportedly remain limited to rehab work. Toney thus seems most likely of the bunch to make it back for Monday's game in Kansas City.

DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Should play Sunday
Parker (shoulder/hamstring) is expected to be available for Sunday's game at Buffalo, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Parker has missed the past three games but practiced as a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday, and he's expected to retake the field Sunday for the Dolphins. The 28-year-old has 17 receptions for 242 yards and a touchdown in four games this season, and he should see plenty of snaps against the Bills if he can avoid a setback over the next couple days.

Corey Davis WR | NYJ
Jets' Corey Davis: Trending down for Sunday
Coach Robert Saleh said Friday Davis' (hip) outlook for Sunday's game against the Bengals is "not looking good," Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
Davis was added to the injury report with the hip issue Thursday, and it may prevent him from taking the field this week. The Jets already are without QB Zach Wilson (knee), and it appears the offense will be even more short-handed versus the Bengals. Denzel Mims is expected to have an increased role if Davis is ruled out.

Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Ready for Sunday
Jeudy (ankle) appears on track to play Sunday, as the receiver declared, "I'm back in action. I'm ready to go," in Thursday's press conference, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Jeudy's progress in practice will continue to be monitored before he is removed from injured reserve, but all signs point to the second-year wideout making his return to the field in Week 8 against Washington. According to Mike Klis of 9News Denver, Jeudy could help get the offense going, as Denver has struggled to move the ball through the air consistently for much of the season. Klis asserts that throwing the ball to Jeudy early in the downs may be the answer to avoid being in so many third-and-longs. In any case, the 22-year-old should return Sunday and provide a much needed boost to Denver's offense.

Equanimeous St. Brown WR | SF
Packers' Equanimeous St. Brown: Quiet night despite shortages
St. Brown secured two of three targets for 12 yards in the Packers' 24-21 win over the Cardinals on Thursday night.
The fourth-year wideout was in line for a much bigger workload than usual with the multiple absences at receiver for the Packers, but he ultimately was still relegated to a complementary role. The heavy use of Aaron Jones as an extra pass-catching option was partly responsible for St. Brown's modest opportunities, although his reception and receiving yardage tallies still qualified as season highs since he'd come in with just one catch for no gain on the season. Assuming Davante Adams and Allen Lazard have cleared COVID-19 protocols and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is perhaps off injured reserve by the time the Week 9 road showdown with the Chiefs rolls around a week from Sunday, St. Brown could be back scrounging for targets near the bottom of the receiver depth chart.

Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Packers' Randall Cobb: Pair of scoring grabs in win
Cobb brought in three of five targets for 15 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers' 24-21 win over the Cardinals on Thursday.
The veteran slot man was filling the role of de facto No. 1 receiver for Aaron Rodgers on Thursday, and although he couldn't do much in the yardage department, he delivered for fantasy managers with touchdown grabs of two and six yards in the second half. Cobb hadn't been in the end zone since Week 4, when he'd recorded his first two scores of the campaign versus the Steelers. Cobb now has back-to-back three-catch efforts, but his role could diminish in a Week 9 road battle against the Chiefs a week from Sunday if both Davante Adams and Allen Lazard clear COVID-19 protocols in time for that contest, as expected, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is activated from injured reserve.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Finishes with two receptions
Hopkins (hamstring) secured both targets for 66 yards in the Cardinals' 24-21 loss to the Packers on Thursday night. He spent large portions of the game sidelined with a hamstring injury, and Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports the receiver ran back onto the field on his own "a couple times" without the coaching staff's consent as the game went on.
Weinfuss adds that coach Kliff Kingsbury clearly didn't seem pleased with his star receiver risking a potential longer-term injury, and even with Hopkins' attempts to help out his team, the Cardinals still ended up suffering their first loss of the season. Hopkins will now look to get back to health in time for a Week 9 road showdown with the Chiefs a week from Sunday.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Returns to game
Hopkins (hamstring) returned to Thursday's game against the Packers.
Hopkins had been sidelined for most of the game after apparently aggravating his hamstring injury in the first quarter. However, he returned midway through the third quarter and should provide a big boost to the Cardinals' offense if he can remain on the field for the remainder of the contest.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Questionable to return
Hopkins aggravated his hamstring injury and is questionable to return to Thursday's game against Green Bay, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.
Hopkins exited the game midway through the first quarter after making a 51-yard catch. He was seen testing his hamstring on the sideline but has not checked back into the game since his initial exit. Hopkins did not practice at all during the short week, and he now may be forced to miss the rest of Thursday's contest.
