  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Chiefs' Tyreek Hill: Expected to play Sunday

Hill (quadriceps), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Washington, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Hill managed only one limited practice this season while tending to a bruised quad, but the injury doesn't look as though it'll prevent him from playing Sunday. Even so, fantasy managers will want to confirm he's suiting up when Kansas City releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Mike Williams WR | LAC

Chargers' Mike Williams: Should play against Ravens

Williams (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, is expected to play, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Despite failing to practice during the week, Williams is seemingly trending in the right direction for the Week 6 matchup. As long as he avoids a pregame setback, he'll be able to take the field and will look to build on his league-leading six touchdown catches. Confirmation on Williams' availability should come approximately 90 minutes prior to the game's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Chargers release their inactive list.

  • Dante Pettis WR | SF

Giants' Dante Pettis: Elevated from practice squad

Pettis was elevated from the Giants' practice squad Saturday, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.

Pettis is being promoted to the Giants' game day roster in order to provide roster insurance for fellow wideout Darius Slayton, who is questionable for Week 6 with a hamstring injury. The Giants have been ravished by injuries to their offense, and Kenny Golladay is the latest to be ruled out after hyperextending his knee in Week 5. On a positive note, Kadarius Toney (ankle, questionable) is expected to play, and Sterling Shepard is also making his return from a hamstring injury. Even if Darius Slayton is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Pettis will likely have a hard time seeing the field behind the Giants' healthy pass catchers.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Positive news regarding injury

John Keim of ESPN.com reports McLaurin is "feeling good" after injuring his hamstring Friday. The third-year wide receiver is currently listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs.

It's hardly much to go on, but any positive news is something to report given McLaurin's injury occurred during Friday's practice, putting his status for Sunday somewhat in doubt. Washington did elevate wide receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden ahead of the aforementioned matchup, but the team has already ruled out both Curtis Samuel (groin) and Cam Sims (hamstring), while Dyami Brown (knee) is also listed as questionable, so it's hardly a one-for-one replacement. If McLaurin is able to play, the speedy target figures to be set for a massive workload given the Chiefs' below-average pass defense and what figures to be an offensive onslaught from both sides.

  • Seahawks' Phillip Dorsett: Elevated by Seattle

Dorsett was elevated from the Seahawks' practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Dorsett will join the active roster for a second straight week. However, he played just five offensive snaps and wasn't targeted in last week's loss to the Rams.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Set to make return

Collins (shoulder) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

It's a bit surprising to see Collins activated so soon given he was just designated to practice earlier this week. As a result, Saturday's roster move has to be a positive sign regarding his health moving forward. The 2021 third-round pick was a popular sleeper entering the year given the lack of notable starting receivers opposite Brandin Cooks. That hasn't changed in Collins' absence, though the switch to Davis Mills might complicate things somewhat given the two theoretically haven't had much time to practice with one another. At the very least, the 6-foot-4 target is worth a speculative add in deeper formats given his potential in an offense that is still sorely lacking a second quality pass catcher.

  • Broncos' Tyrie Cleveland: Elevated to active roster

Cleveland was elevated from the Broncos' practice squad Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Cleveland will join the active roster for the second straight week as a much needed depth piece at wide receiver for Denver's offense. Joining him will be new acquisition John Brown, though it remains unclear if the veteran wideout will be activated for game day. Nonetheless, both Cleveland and Brown have the potential to see usage in the passing game to augment Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick when the Broncos square off against the Raiders in Week 6.

  • Steelers' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Lands on IR

Smith-Schuster (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

This comes as no surprise considering Smith-Schuster underwent season-ending surgery to his shoulder earlier this week. James Washington, Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool will split a bigger piece of the target share with the five-year pro sidelined indefinitely.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Set to go Sunday

Bateman (groin) was activated off injured reserve Saturday.

It'll be interesting to see how much playing time Bateman receives with Sammy Watkins (hamstring) unavailable, though the emergence of Devin Duvernay and James Proche does give the team some flexibility. The 2021 first-round pick is a dynamic playmaker and could pair well with the mobility of Lamar Jackson, but fantasy managers likely should temper expectations at least initially until a better understanding of his usage is revealed.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Cleared to practice

The Broncos designated Jeudy (ankle) to return from injured reserve Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

It's important to note this designation does not mean Jeudy will be able to play Sunday against the Raiders. It sounds like Jeudy also won't quite be healthy in time for the upcoming Week 7 matchup against the Browns, which takes place Thursday, but he's certainly on pace to suit up for the Oct. 31 battle against Washington if he misses the aforementioned prime-time affair. That timeline seems to track with the comments coach Vic Fangio made earlier this month suggesting Jeudy would be closer to the front end of the 6-8 week return timeline following a high-ankle sprain. Jeudy's practice status will be something to monitor next week as the team prepares for Thursday's contest.
