McLaurin (quadriceps) is questionable to return to Monday night's game against the Chiefs.

McLaurin was spotted on the sideline with his helmet on in the fourth quarter, but he didn't take the field with the offense and is being labeled as questionable. McLaurin, of course, missed the previous four games with a quad injury, so it appears as if he aggravated the issue. Prior to exiting, McLaurin reeled in three of four targets for 54 yards and one touchdown. Chris Moore, Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane would be in line for additional offensive reps while McLaurin is out.

Ayomanor recorded four catches (on eight targets) for 52 yards in Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Colts.

Ayomanor had a mixed showing, as he connected with Cam Ward for long gains of 26 and 14 yards to turn in his highest yardage total since Week 2. However, he also had an apparent miscommunication with Ward on a potential deep catch early in the second quarter, one play after being called for offensive pass interference. Ayomanor has been overshadowed by fellow rookie Chimere Dike in recent weeks, but he earned a career-high eight targets in Sunday's loss and should retain a key role in Tennessee's offense for the rest of the season.

Humphrey reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday.

Humphrey was elevated each of the past three weeks and played a major role in New York's offense, logging at least 64 percent of the team's offensive snaps each week. However, after producing four catches on eight targets for 55 yards in Week 6, Humphrey didn't make any catches on two targets over his subsequent two games. Still, with Malik Nabers (knee) on injured reserve and the Giants getting very little production from their wideouts outside of Wan'Dale Robinson, there's certainly a chance Humphrey could continue to be called upon on game days. However, he would need to be signed to the active roster for that to happen, since he's already been elevated the maximum three times.

Heath was targeted three times and caught three passes for 29 yards in Sunday's 35-25 victory over the Steelers.

Fellow wideout Christian Watson made his season debut in Week 8, but another pass catcher -- Dontayvion Wicks (calf) -- did not suit up, so Heath spent another game as Green Bay's fourth wideout and set a season high in receptions. Heath will likely fall behind Wicks on the depth chart when he returns, and one more receiver -- rookie Savion Williams -- could get more involved, which does not leave much upside from a fantasy perspective.

Wayne reverted to the Texans' practice squad Monday.

Wayne was elevated for the first time this season ahead of Sunday's win over San Francisco, as both Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) were unable to suit up. He took the field for 35 of the Texans' 80 offensive snaps -- third-most among Houston wideouts -- and caught both of his targets for 20 yards. Wayne's likelihood of being elevated again for a Week 9 game versus Denver could depend on whether Collins and/or Kirk is able to return to action.

Drummond reverted to the Falcons' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Drummond was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins, failing to record any stats while playing six snaps on offense. The wide receiver ranked fourth in snaps at his position behind David Sills (45), Darnell Mooney (45) and KhaDarel Hodge (33). If Drake London (hip) remains unavailable in Week 9, Drummond could be elevated again prior to the team's matchup with the Patriots.

Royals (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Commanders.

Royals was a healthy scratch for the Chiefs' first three games of the regular season before making his NFL debut against the Ravens in Week 4. He hasn't recorded a target in each of Kansas City's last four games and will observe Monday's game on the sidelines in street clothes. Royals' next opportunity to play is Week 9 against the Bills on Sunday.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that the 49ers don't intend to designate Aiyuk (knee) to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

On Friday, Shanahan told David Lombardi of SFStandard.com that Aiyuk's 21-day practice window may open this week, but even if it doesn't, the 49ers currently are in "week-to-week mode" with the wide receiver. Aiyuk is a little over one year removed from suffering ACL and MCL tears in his right knee during Week 7 of the 2024 campaign, so he's likely facing a significant ramp-up process even when he is cleared to practice.

Eskridge (shoulder) was listed as a DNP on Monday's estimated practice report, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Eskridge was carted to the locker room during the first half of Sunday's game against the Falcons due to a shoulder injury, and he was not cleared to return. Monday's report is an estimate since the Dolphins didn't practice, so his practice participation over the next two days will shed light on whether he can play against the Ravens on Thursday. Ollie Gordon would be in line for more work as a returner on kickoffs alongside Malik Washington if Eskridge is not cleared to play against Baltimore.

The Commanders cut Chosen from the practice squad Monday.

Chosen was elevated to the Commanders' active roster for their Week 7 clash against the Cowboys, when he caught all four of his targets for 36 yards while playing 33 of 67 offensive snaps. However, his services are no longer needed as Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Deebo Samuel (heel) have both been cleared to return from their respective injuries and play in Monday's road game against the Chiefs. Given Chosen's play in Week 7, the veteran wide receiver should garner interest from teams looking for pass-catching depth on the active roster or practice squad.
