  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Sees 12 opportunities in Week 3 loss

Washington caught five of 10 targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs. He rushed two times for five yards. Washington became the focal point of the offense following De'Von Achane's season-ending torn ACL in the first half. Moving forward, Washington needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats after seeing a combined 12 opportunities against Kansas City. On the season, he's recorded 12 catches for 152 yards on 23 targets. He's also handed three rushing attempts for nine yards.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

We could see Washington, Chris Bell (17 percent rostered), and Caleb Douglas (40 percent) all involved this week if Douglas returns from the ankle injury that sidelined him in Week 3 against Kansas City. Washington has the safest floor with an average of seven targets and 8.7 PPR points per game in all three outings, but his upside is limited. Bell just had seven targets in Week 3 against the Chiefs and finished with four catches for 67 yards, but what happens when Douglas is healthy? In the first two games of the season against Las Vegas and San Francisco, Bell combined for one catch for 25 yards on three targets. Douglas was injured against the 49ers and missed Week 3, but he had five catches for 94 yards on seven targets in Week 1 at Las Vegas. All three Dolphins receivers are worth adding, but none of them should go for more than 5 percent of your remaining FAAB.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Sleeper WRs

Caleb Douglas (ankle) is out for Week 3 against Kansas City, and Washington is worth using in deep, three-receiver leagues. He has seven catches for 96 yards on 13 targets in two games against the Raiders and 49ers, and he should be the most reliable pass catcher for Malik Willis in a game where the Dolphins will be chasing points. I don't have high expectations for Washington, but he could be useful in deeper formats.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Week 3 Waiver Priority List

Caleb Douglas (ankle) left Week 2 at San Francisco, and he could be out in Week 3 against the Chiefs. You can drop Douglas (60 percent rostered) in shallow leagues if he's not going to play against Kansas City, but hopefully, he's not out long. Without Douglas, Fantasy managers should look at Washington and potentially Chris Bell (22 percent rostered) in deeper leagues. Washington has seven catches for 96 yards on 13 targets in two games, and he should get more opportunities if Douglas is out. I hope the same thing happens for Bell, who only has one catch for 25 yards on three targets in two games. He has the most upside of Miami's receiving corps, but Bell is still working his way back from last year's torn ACL. Washington is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAAB in all leagues, and Bell is worth 1 percent in deeper formats.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Does it all in loss

Washington caught four of his five targets for 43 yards, rushed once for four yards, returned a punt for seven yards and returned three kickoffs for 69 yards in Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers. Washington played 43 of the Dolphins' 59 offensive snaps as well as six special-teams snaps. The No. 1 wide receiver and returner's name appeared across the box score, and Washington appears set to continue filling a diverse role on a rebuilding Miami squad.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Solid in all-purpose role

Washington brought in three of eight targets for 53 yards, returned three kickoffs for 56 yards and ran back one punt for 17 yards in the Dolphins' 27-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. He also lost a fumble. Washington's turnover was the one blemish on an otherwise encouraging afternoon, as the fumble came at the two-minute warning after a 26-yard reception and snuffed out any last-gasp chance at a comeback for Miami. Washington also finished as the team leader in targets and second in receiving yards for the Dolphins, and he matched Caleb Douglas for a team-high 30-yard catch. The 2024 sixth-round pick also put in solid work as a returner, and he should remain heavily involved on both offense and special teams in a Week 2 road matchup against the 49ers.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: First-team billing on depth chart

Washington is listed as a starting wide receiver on the Dolphins' unofficial depth chart. Miami almost entirely retooled its receiving corps this offseason, releasing Tyreek Hill in February, trading Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos in March, signing Jalen Tolbert in free agency and then drafting three WRs (Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell and Kevin Coleman) in the 2026 Draft. Washington is the only holdover from 2025, a season in which he hauled in 46 of 65 targets for 317 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing 17 times for 110 yards and one more TD. In addition to an expected increase in snaps while working with new QB Malik Willis, Washington again will serve as the team's primary kick returner and perhaps on punt returns as well.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Not playing Saturday

Washington is not playing in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports. Washington played in the Dolphins' preseason opener against the Commanders on Friday, Aug. 14, when he caught three passes on as many targets for 15 yards. He'll be idle for Saturday's exhibition contest, so Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell and rookie third-rounder Caleb Douglas are all in line for increased work.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Team-high catch total in preseason loss

Washington brought in all three targets for 15 yards in the Dolphins' 20-7 preseason loss to the Commanders on Friday. The third-year pro's catch total led the Dolphins on the night, as Washington opened the game with the first-team offense and recorded his first two catches, which netted 12 yards, on Miami's first two plays from scrimmage. Washington supplied a career-best 46 receptions in 2025, and he currently heads up Miami's wide-receiver depth chart heading into the Dolphins' second preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 22 at home against the Giants.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Hurts thumb Sunday

Washington exited Sunday's game against the Patriots with a thumb injury. Before his departure from the contest, Washington caught one pass for two yards and a TD and ran twice for 22 yards. Cedrick Wilson, Theo Wease, Tahj Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are the Dolphins' available WRs in Week 18 while Washington is sidelined.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Quiet in win over Bucs

Washington secured one of three targets for four yards during Sunday's 20-17 win over Tampa Bay. He also carried the ball once for one yard. Washington failed to make a significant impact in the receiving game Sunday despite the fact that Jaylen Waddle was forced to the sideline due to a ribs injury midway through the second quarter and didn't return to action until late in the third. Overall, Washington's most significant contribution to Miami's win over the Buccaneers may have been the 47-yard kick return he managed late in the third quarter. He'll have one more chance to demonstrate chemistry with Quinn Ewers in the Dolphins' regular-season finale on the road at New England in Week 18.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Rushing TD in loss

Washington caught his lone target for 23 yards and rushed one time for a nine-yard touchdown in Miami's 45-21 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. After catching multiple passes in 13 of his first 14 games, Washington has now posted back-to-back one-catch games on a total of two targets. Washington, however, was able to salvage his box score with a nine-yard rushing score in the second quarter to give the Dolphins a 14-10 lead. Cincinnati would then go on to score 35 straight points to bury the Dolphins. Washington has minimal fantasy appeal headed into next Sunday's date with Tampa Bay.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Only targeted once

Washington secured his only target for 10 yards during Miami's 28-15 loss to the Steelers on Monday night. Washington turned in his lowest single-game target total of the season in Week 15, as all of Darren Waller, De'Von Achane, Greg Dulcich, Jaylen Waddle and Julian Hill saw more involvement in the receiving game. Monday's loss was also just the third time this season that Washington didn't field any kickoff returns, though he did return two punts for 14 yards. Washington will face a more favorable matchup at home against the Bengals on Sunday.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Touchdown reception in upset win

Washington brought in two of three targets for nine yards and a touchdown, rushed once for four yards, returned one kickoff for 24 yards and ran back one punt for 13 yards in the Dolphins' 30-13 win over the Bills on Sunday. Washington filled his usual jack-of-all-trades role and managed to make an impact as a receiver with a nine-yard touchdown reception to open the scoring. The versatile second-year pro has scored both of his TDs in the last three games, and he now has multiple receptions in eight straight contests but has yet to top 48 receiving yards in any outing this season. Washington will remain in his versatile role during a Week 11 matchup against the Commanders in Madrid next Sunday.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Week 9 Waiver Priority List

Washington scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 8 at Atlanta with four catches for 36 yards on five targets, and he now has 13 targets in his past two games. We'll see if he can start making plays opposite Jaylen Waddle, and the Dolphins need him to step up with Tyreek Hill (knee) out. I would only look at Washington in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB, but hopefully Week 8 is the start of a strong finish for him this season.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Scores in upset win over Falcons

Washington secured four of five targets for 36 yards and one touchdown during Miami's 34-10 win over Atlanta on Sunday. Washington finished second on the team in receiving yardage behind Jaylen Waddle (5-99-1 on six targets), though running back De'Von Achane (5-24-1) also had seven targets. The placement of Darren Waller (hamstring) on IR paved the way for Washington, rather than tight ends Tanner Conner or Greg Dulcich, to handle an expanded role in the passing game. With Tyreek Hill (knee - ACL) already out for the year, Washington figures to remain one of Tua Tagovailoa's top three targets until Waller retakes the field. That puts him on the radar as a potential fantasy starter in deeper leagues heading into a Week 9 matchup against the Ravens on Thursday Night Football.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Five catches in Week 7 loss

Washington brought in five of eight targets for 30 yards, returned four kickoffs for 114 yards and ran back one punt for 11 yards in the Dolphins' 31-6 loss to the Browns on Sunday. The speedy second-year wideout led the Dolphins in receptions and targets on a very low-volume day for Miami's passing attack. Washington's catch, yardage and target totals were all season highs, but he continues to be used almost exclusively in a short-area role, capping his upside except in formats that also count return yardage.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Draws five targets again

Washington secured four of five targets for 22 yards and carried the ball once for one yard during Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Chargers. Washington remains consistently involved on offense, having drawn five targets in four of his six regular-season appearances to begin the year, and he's also been involved as a ball-carrier in all but one game. That said, Washington hasn't done much with those opportunities, as he's yet to score or log a 50-yard performance on offense this season. He'll have a difficult task improving his efficiency on the road against a stingy Browns defense in Week 7. In fantasy formats that reward production on special teams, however, Washington carries sneaky upside, as he racked up 153 yards on five kickoff returns versus Los Angeles.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Week 5 Waiver Priority List

Washington should be headed for a bigger role after Tyreek Hill (knee) was injured in Week 4, and Washington is worth adding in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. The Dolphins still have quality options in the passing game without Hill with Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane, and Darren Waller had a big game against the Jets with two touchdowns. But Washington should move into the starting lineup, and he could become an immediate playmaker for the Dolphins and Fantasy managers with Hill out.
