  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

    Texans' Nico Collins: Injures shoulder

Collins left Sunday's game against the Browns with a shoulder injury, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.

Prior to his exit from the contest, Collins caught his only target for 32 yards. In his absence, Brandin Cooks, Chris Conley and Danny Amendola are in line to head the Texans' Week 2 WR corps.

  • Nsimba Webster WR | CHI

Bears' Nsimba Webster: Active for Week 2

Webster (hamstring) is listed as active ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Bengals.

Webster was added to the injury report Friday, but he was still a full participant in practice. The 25-year-old played just six special-teams snaps Week 1 and will likely handle his usual punt-returning duties Sunday.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

Rams' Ben Skowronek: Won't face Colts

Skowronek (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Colts, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Skowronek missed the team's opening game of the season due to a forearm injury. While he was taken off the injury report leading up to Week 2, Skowronek will have to wait at least one more week to make his season debut.

  • Shi Smith WR | KC

Panthers' Shi Smith: Not ready for game action

Smith (coach's decision) is inactive for the Panthers' Week 2 matchup against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Smith returned from a shoulder injury to fully practice Wednesday after being sidelined by the issue since Aug. 28. However, reports suggested that he might not get enough work in to be active in Week 2. It's unclear when he may be ready to take the field for his first regular-season contest.

  • Browns' Odell Beckham: Spotted getting work on field

Beckham (knee) was seen participating in pre-game workouts prior to Week 2's matchup against Houston, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Beckham has long been ruled out for the Week 2 tilt, but his presence on the field prior to the contest might suggest a Week 3 return is on the table. In his absence, Donovan Peoples-Jones will draw another start, with Jarvis Landry the presumed favorite to lead the group of wideouts in snaps and targets.

  • Keelan Cole WR | LV

Jets' Keelan Cole: Suiting up Week 2

Cole (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

A limited participant in practice throughout the week while he continued to manage the knee injury that sidelined him for the season-opening loss to the Panthers, Cole ultimately received the green light to make his Jets debut after checking out fine following a pregame evaluation. The extent of Cole's role in the Week 2 game plan is difficult to forecast, however, even with Jamison Crowder (groin) sitting out a second straight contest. While Corey Davis is locked in as the Jets' No. 1 outside receiver, Cole may have to fend off Braxton Berrios for work out of the slot sans Crowder. Cole also has the ability to play outside, so he could challenge rookie Elijah Moore for reps if the Jets prefer to deploy Berrios as their top slot option.

  • Mike Strachan WR | WAS

Colts' Mike Strachan: Could see larger role

Strachan could see an increased role Sunday against the Rams with Parris Campbell (abdomen) inactive for the contest, Mike Wells of ESPN.com reports.

WIth T.Y. Hilton (neck) also joining Campbell on the sideline, Strachan should move into the No. 3 receiver role. However, DeMichael Harris, just called up from the practice squad, could also be a factor. The Colts may utilize their tight ends in the passing game more frequently as well.

  • Bears' Breshad Perriman: Inactive again Sunday

Perriman (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Bengals.

For the second straight game, Perriman is a healthy scratch for the Bears as he awaits his debut with the team. Based off Week 1 snap counts, the team will rely on Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney, Damiere Byrd and Marquise Goodwin at wide receiver Sunday.

  • Colts' Parris Campbell: Inactive against Rams

Campbell (abdomen) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.

Though an earlier report suggested the Colts were confident Campbell would play this weekend after he was a limited participant in Friday's practice, the wideout must have not felt right in pregame warmups. Rookie Mike Strachan will likely have a larger role in the passing game with Campbell out.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Cleared for Week 2

Pittman (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams.

Pittman was a late addition to the Colts' injury report after hurting his ankle in practice Friday, but the issue won't be significant enough to keep him off the field Sunday. The second-year wideout was on the field for all but two snaps in the Colts' Week 1 loss to the Seahawks, but he didn't see much volume in the passing game with three receptions for 29 yards on four targets.
