  • Marquise Brown WR | PHI

Ravens' Marquise Brown: Returns to practice Friday

Brown (ankle) participated at Friday's practice but appeared to have some limitations, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Brown went through agility drills with no issues but appeared to be moving at less than full speed in other portions of practice. Still, it's a good sign the 24-year-old is back at practice after being a non-participant the past two days, and he should have a chance of suiting up for Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Football Team's Dyami Brown: Puts up 34 yards

Brown caught three of six targets for 34 yards in Thursday's 30-29 win over the Giants.

Brown finished fifth on the team in receiving and tied for fourth in targets, again working with Terry McLaurin and Adam Humphries as part of Washington's regular trio for three-wide sets. Curtis Samuel (groin) can return from IR as soon as Week 4, but while he eventually figures to take a lot of Brown's snaps, it isn't yet clear when Samuel will be ready. Washington does have Cam Sims as an option for perimeter snaps if Brown can't get going soon, but even if the latter isn't seeing many targets, his speed could be useful. He'll get a tough matchup next, traveling to Buffalo in Week 3.

  • Adam Humphries WR | HOU

Football Team's Adam Humphries: Targeted eight times

Humphries caught seven of eight targets for 44 yards in Thursday's 30-29 win over the Giants.

Coming off an ugly, run-heavy loss to the Chargers the previous week, Washington displayed a far better passing attack Thursday evening, led by an 11-catch night from Terry McLaurin. Four other players, including Humphries, finished between six and eight targets, with QB Taylor Heinicke throwing for 336 yards and two TDs in his first regular-season start for Washington. Humphries is at 9-54-0 on 10 targets through two games, and he should maintain his slot role Week 3 at Buffalo. Reduced playing time could be coming when Curtis Samuel (groin) returns from IR, which technically can happen as soon as Week 4.

  • Darius Slayton WR | IND

Giants' Darius Slayton: Finds end zone in loss

Slayton secured three of six targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Giants' 30-29 loss to Washington on Thursday night.

While his reception and receiving yardage tallies were nothing to write home about, Slayton turned a pedestrian fantasy effort into a solid one with a 33-yard scoring grab in the latter portion of the third quarter. The third-year speedster has been used frequently downfield through the first two games, as his 19.8 yards per reception thus far will attest to. He'll look to continue adding to his collection of chunk gains in a favorable Week 3 home matchup against the Falcons a week from Sunday.

  • Giants' Sterling Shepard: Productive again in losing cause

Shepard brought in nine of 10 targets for 94 yards in the Giants' 30-29 loss to Washington on Thursday night. He also netted minus-9 yards on one rush attempt.

Four days after essentially serving as the offense's lone bright spot in a season-opening loss to the Broncos, Shepard was at it again Thursday, albeit once again in a losing effort. The 28-year-old followed up the 7-113-1 Week 1 line with a bump in receptions. While the Giants' team prospects look bleak, the fact Shepard already has logged 19 targets through two games and has been highly efficient with them gives him plenty of fantasy momentum going into a Week 3 home matchup against the vulnerable Falcons a week from Sunday.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Paces pass catchers in win

McLaurin secured 11 of 14 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in Washington's 30-29 win over the Giants on Thursday night.

The speedy third-year man was unsurprisingly Taylor Heinicke's top target throughout the night, and he contributed several key receptions. McLaurin came down with a contested 11-yard touchdown grab early in the second quarter, and he also notched a six-yard catch to move the ball to the Giants' 30 on the offense's penultimate play from scrimmage during Washington's game-winning drive. Through two games, McLaurin has now recorded 15 receptions for 169 yards, and his rapport with Heinicke on Thursday certainly sends him into a Week 3 road contest versus the Bills a week from Sunday with plenty of momentum.

  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Still not practicing

Eskridge (concussion) didn't practice Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear if Eskridge was present at Thursday's practice, but he wasn't even at team facilities Wednesday, signifying his concussion may be serious. Meanwhile, fellow wide receiver Penny Hart has been a full participant in practice this week, but he still may have to pass the final stage of the protocol for head injuries. Eskridge seems to be trending toward a DNP on Sunday against the Titans, which would leave the Seahawks somewhat shorthanded in the receiving corps behind DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Freddie Swain.

  • Giants' Collin Johnson: Sidelined Thursday

Johnson (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game at Washington, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Johnson was a roster casualty of the Jaguars on cut-down day, but he found a new home in New York one day later. Still, he's only been with the team a little more than two weeks, and the Giants' receiving corps is healthy, so he'll remain in street clothes for a second straight game.

  • Devin Duvernay WR | ARI

Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Thursday injury report addition

Duvernay (groin) was limited at practice Thursday.

With Marquise Brown (ankle) now having logged back-to-back DNPs and Duvernay a new addition to the Ravens' injury report Thursday, the composition of the team's Week 2 wideout corps hinges on how the duo fares at practice Friday. If either or both players are out this weekend, James Proche and Tylan Wallace would be candidates for added snaps alongside Sammy Watkins.

  • Bills' Isaiah McKenzie: Returns to full practice

McKenize practiced fully Thursday after being limited during Wednesday's session due to a shoulder injury.

The depth receiver and dangerous return man seems pretty likely to have a clear designation Friday ahead of the Bills' upcoming matchup with the rival Dolphins. McKenzie busted off 144 combined return yards in the Week 1 loss to the Steelers.
