  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Carted to locker room

Evans suffered a shoulder injury in Monday's game against the Lions, per the ESPN broadcast.

Evans attempted to make a deep catch in the second quarter but jarred his upper body off the turf. He was on the field for a few minutes while being attended to by trainers. Evans was ultimately able to walk off the field, but he was seen being carted to the locker room on the broadcast.

  • Tyler Lockett: Time in Tennessee over

The Titans granted Lockett his release Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

In seven games with the Titans, Lockett caught just 10 of his 21 targets for 70 yards. With the 33-year-old receiver not fitting the rebuilding 1-6 Titans' timeline, he'll be given the chance to catch on elsewhere for the remainder of the season. Even if Lockett lands with a playoff-contending team with stronger quarterback play, he'll likely struggle to find enough snaps to make a meaningful fantasy impact.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Week 8 status TBD

Coach Kyle Shanahan noted Monday that the 49ers will continue monitoring Pearsall (knee) ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Pearsall was unable to practice last week before being ruled out for the 49ers' Week 7 win over the Falcons. At this stage, the wideout's status for this weekend's game is cloudy, with added context regarding his chances of returning to the lineup set to arrive no later than Wednesday's injury report. In Pearsall's absence versus Atlanta, Jauan Jennings and Kendrick Bourne led the team's WR corps, with Demarcus Robinson, Malik Turner and Skyy Moore mixing in.

  • Colton Dowell: Lands with Baltimore

The Ravens signed Dowell to their practice squad Monday.

Dowell tore his ACL in December 2023 and missed the entire 2024 season. He was cut by the Titans this past July but will now get a look from the Ravens via the practice squad.

  • Eagles' John Metchie: Goes unused in Week 7

Metchie didn't see the field in Sunday's 28-22 win over the Vikings.

Metchie hasn't played more than seven offensive snaps in any game this season, but that number dropped all the way to zero for the first time in Week 7. While he was not listed on the Eagles' injury report, he spent the whole game on the sidelines, failing to see any usage even on special teams.

  • Jonathan Mingo WR | DAL

Cowboys' Jonathan Mingo: Expected to be activated this week

Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Monday that Mingo (knee) will be activated from injured reserve this week, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Mingo was designated for return from injured reserve Oct. 1, so the Cowboys had to make a decision on his status this week before his 21-day window closes. Upon his return, Mingo will join a loaded wide-receiver room that includes CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, KaVontae Turpin, Ryan Flournoy and Jalen Tolbert. Mingo is unlikely to have any fantasy value unless there are injuries ahead of him.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Back in action Monday

Evans (hamstring) is active for Monday's game at Detroit.

Evans thus is back in action for the first time since Week 3, when he initially strained his left hamstring. He'll be joined by rookie first-round pick Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) in Tampa Bay's receiving corps, while Chris Godwin (fibula) won't be available. Both Evans and Egbuka will be priority plays versus a Lions secondary that is down all four starters.

  • Emeka Egbuka WR | TB

Buccaneers' Emeka Egbuka: Active for MNF

Egbuka (hamstring) is listed as active Monday at Detroit.

After emerging from a Week 6 win against the 49ers with a strained hamstring, Egbuka managed just one limited practice (Saturday) before being listed as questionable for Monday's contest. On Saturday, coach Todd Bowles called Egbuka a game-time decision, per Adam Schefter of ESPN, but now that the rookie wide receiver is cleared, he'll be part of a receiving corps that also features the return of Mike Evans (hamstring) for the first time since Week 3. Both Egbuka and Evans will be priority plays in fantasy against a Lions secondary that is down four starters.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Notches first NFL touchdown

Mumpfield secured his only target for five yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 35-7 victory against the Jaguars.

Mumpfield's maiden touchdown of his NFL career came when he got past Jourdan Lewis and caught a five-yard dart from Matthew Stafford in the end zone. This was the first of Stafford's five touchdown passes, but despite the initial touchdown grab, Mumpfield wouldn't see another target on the day. The lack of targets isn't atypical, as this was just his second catch on the year. Despite a season-high 28 snaps on offense in the contest, Mumpfield is likely to revert to his light usage once Puka Nacua (ankle) returns from injury. The Rams are on bye in Week 8 before the Saints come to town in Week 9.

  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Eagles' Jahan Dotson: No catches in Week 7

Dotson failed to draw a target in Sunday's 28-22 win over the Vikings.

Jalen Hurts threw for a season-high 326 yards, but Dotson wasn't able to benefit. DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown combined for 304 of those yards, leaving even less than volume than usual for the rest of Hurts' potential targets. Dotson has averaged one catch per game through seven games this season.
